Maintenance


It's been a long week. I did pretty good during the week, but was once again got caught up in the hustle and bustle of our family's weekend activities and the temptation to just order pizza for dinner. I didn't go to the gym. I feel like I've been saying this a lot lately. One minute, I think I have a handle on it, the next minute, I don't. There's no getting around it, staying on track is a full-time job and I've been taking too many vacations. So once again, I will get back on track.

I am no longer in maintenance mode since I have let myself gain a few pounds. I'm having a hard time getting back into weight loss mode. I am frustrated to say the least and I just want to be back in the frame of mind I was in when I started this journey. I know what to do, I just need to find the motivation to do it.

The funny thing about me, is that I have no trouble staying active. I exercise a lot. But when it comes to food, I just have a hard time staying away from the bad stuff. I suppose it's time to start searching the recipe boards on SparkPeople.com and find foods that will satisfy me, but won't break the calorie bank. Maybe next week will be better.

Thats becuase they make the bad stuff taste so darn good!!
Now when they can make broccli taste like Pizza, will be all over that!!! LOL :)
(Although brocclli with motz cheese & speggtti sauce is pretty darn good :)~
