Ellen has been working all season to help the kids of Whitney Elementary, and today they got a huge surprise -- a new library! Thanks to the people of Target, the Whitney students will be studying in this beautiful new building. But that's not all! They'll also be able to get their reading done on a cool new Kindle Fire!

Sherrie Gahn, the inspirational principal of Whitney Elementary, received a check during Ellen's premiere week for $100,000 to help cover the cost of her students' needs. Sherrie's life has changed... and so have the lives of her students. She was on the show to tell Ellen about the differences she's seen, and the amazing people who have stepped out of the woodwork to help her!
We all fell in love with Sherrie Gahn and the kids of Whitney Elementary during our season premiere. Justin Bieber was here with a surprise for the incredible school -- that you won't believe! And just when you think it can't possibly get any better, it does! There was Bieber magic in our studio!
After the audience got $100 gift cards to Target, one audience member wanted to donate hers to Sherrie Gahn and her school. It was a touching moment, and before you knew it, Ellen had everyone laughing again!
