It washed the ramps leading to the cabins over the lake. Oh well, my point is that I hope we will have the happiness that you have. I remember when I flew to Hawaii and watched my sister Jackie Taylor that is on the "Grounds for Improvment Show" married, I had never encountered anything like the same sex marriages until I saw hers. I am 70 years old, and I have to admit in my younger days, I was totally against gays. But, learning more about it, I understand. I have no gay people in my family. I was taught marriage was between a man and women. I am a Christan, but
gays have a right in this world to be happy, and if getting married is your choice, it is not for us to tell you, you can't. We are bringing relegion into the laws now, and that is not right.
I voted yes on 8, and encouraged my friends and family to do the same. I will keep speaking out for you and hope that someday HATE will no longer be a part of the American Politics. I believe in God and the Heavens and I hope we are able to meet there someday.

I wish me and my partner can get married too. Unfortunately, gay marriage here in the Philippines is not allowed (Catholicism being the predominant religion). There are those who perform ceremonial weddings but I want my own to be legally binding as well. I love my partner very much and she is the biggest gift God has given me. Everyday, I thank the Lord for sending her my way when I needed someone to care and love me despite all my flaws. For now, I will just live my dream through those who have done it with their love ones.

When I look at your wedding photos I dare to dream that someday I could have the privilege to call my life partner my wife. Many steps will have to be made and many obstacles overcome before we will be able to publicize our love for one another. In our country 'people like us', which is how we are mostly referred to, only have the ability to 'register' like a piece of machinery. Although we reside 'in the heart of Europe' the situation is far from blissful.
So thank you for taking this step, for reminding us that there is enough tolerance and love in this world (or at least some parts of it) and giving us hope for a brighter and safer future.
