Ellen you are inspirational and I see in your face the love that that lies deep within you written on your face. The love for those who need a break, for those that don't confirm to some of societies expectations. Your love is for humanity with an understanding for the deepest of pains and the deppest of joys. You are blessed to know these feelings.
You and Portia are each so uniquely beautiful and together you will continue to bring alot of joy to many.
In all cases I am an educated retired 60 year old happy to have time to do what ever I want on any given day. And wanted to give you my time shoud you need it while in New York to help you with the new baby that will show up shortly in your life.
Fondly and God Bless you and Portia forever

hola hellen muchisimas felicidades

Patrick, There is a saying mind over matter remember us gays are not held still in the world waiting on patricks approval. We dont mind your ignorance and you really dont matter. As for god i have never spoken to him myself and I am guessing you haven't either. What I do know is man wrote the bible from interpretations from god all we can ask is what it a man like you who clearly misunderstood those interpretations? What does it matter who we love, could you help who you fell in love with, now remember the rest of us might not approve. Wouldn't it be sad if we all posted how god disapproved who you fell in love with. But whats even sadder is a person like you who is so smallminded, you probably never had true love to know you can count on another person 100% to feel through thick and thin your partner without a shadow of a doubt will be there for you. For another person to love you so much you can feel just how special of a person you really are. For someone to make you feel absolutly beautiful inside and out. To be truly happy in your relationship and have a sense of peace and well being in life. Patrick just so you know these feelings come from love whick comes from the heart not SEX. So why does it matter who its with. Sex is just a small part of our lives even us gays, love is so much more than sex. God is portrayed to us all as a MAN, and he loves us all exactly the same even other MEN.
Now how stupid do you feel? Ellen I apologize for patrci's entry, but as the rest of the gay world does just overlook the ignorant. Congratulations and many many years of happiness to you and your wife, probably many many more than Patrick is going to have with his little head.
Love ya

Ellen you are my love, i love it...
You make me feel funny
When you come around
Yeah that's what I found out honey
What am I doing without you
You make me feel happy
When I leave you behind
It plays on my mind now honey
What am I doing without you
Took for granted everything we had
As if I'd find someone
Who's just like you
We got a little world of our own
I'll tell you things that no one else knows
I let you in where no-one else goes
What am I doing without you
And all of the things I've been looking for
Have always been here outside of my door
And all of the time I'm looking for something new
What am I doing without you
Well I guess I'm ready
For settling down
And fooling around is over
And I swear that it's true
No buts or maybes
When I'm falling down
There's always someone who saves me
And girl it's you
Funny how life can be so surprising
I'm just realising what you do
We got a little world of our own
I'll tell you things that no one else knows
I let you in where no-one else goes
What am I doing without you
And all of the things I've been looking for
Have always been here outside of my door
And all of the time I'm looking for something new
What am I doing without you
Well it's feeling right now
So let's do it right now
Praying that some how
You will understand the way
It's feeling right now baby somehow
I won't let this slip away
We got a little world of our own
I'll tell you things that no one else knows
I let you in where no-one else goes
What am I doing without you
And all of the things I've been looking for
Have always been here outside of my door
And all of the time I'm looking for something new
What am I doing without you

You dear splendid, lovely two people,
I don't believe I've ever written to a celebrity before. ==Oh wait! Diana Rigg! Hey, I was 15. And listen, she had an accessorized whip. Right? Okay then. (And I'm writing this to the blissful accompaniment of Ellaphant Gerald (has no else ever made that silly joke?), so clearly, I'm not fooling around here (check out her version of "I Want To Talk About You," and swoon.)
And I feel quite uncool, because I can't bring myself to dispense with all punctuation, making my whole email one long sentence (thank heavens for you) or to find a way to spell the word "you're" as either "your" or, even more creatively "ur."
Oh well, though brimming with envy, I'm like, way over the hill, where I'm writing to you (by which, I assume, I mean "you") from my rickety & beloved mountain cabin. (Yes, alright, I
know, that was mean. I'm sorry.)
There's no possibility that you're actually going to read this, right? Yeah, well I'm also quite naive. I guess I'm compelled to write this for my own usually sad sack self, because your wedding photos (which I found through a link on Salon.com -- see? Whaddaya think I yam? Dum or somethin?" (("Born Yesterday," a great movie. And I'd tell you the genius actress's name were it not for the fact that my memory is just a memory.) ) [Jeez, enough with the parentheses!]
I'm so over the hill that my emails are, like, real letters. So this is going long folks. So anyway...I'm writing because your photos made me so happy that I cried. Honest. Have to say it messed with my sense of self to find myself sobbing over celebrity photos. But then, being an philosophically inclined over-thinking intellectual and writer, disabled (not a huge problem, thanks, my life is blessed) and living alone in passionate solitude with lots of time to luxuriate in the beauty of drifting thoughts and traced associations (deep breath)) -- well, I thought about my reaction. I often do that -- like, think abut things. I know, it's a bit kooky.
You know how we all say "I'm happy for you?" Yeah. I am, for sure, if that cliche really means that I'm happy to see evidence that you and Portia, who I don't know from Eve, are actually happy. and so beautiful and really in love. That's true. But what I'm feeling here is happy for myself. Because of the crying thing. Truly. Here it comes, so buckle up: they were tears of joy. They don't come around every day. Or every year. Or once a month or anything gender-related like that. (Anyway I'm post-mentalpause)
Back in the day (push it back, push it back, waaaaay back), I was living with my highschool girlfriend (we were in that sweet early 20s dream of life) in an actual commune. Really! We were an acoustic guitar/singing duo called "The Screaming Lesbians." For real! (I'm still waiting for acknowledgment from the Indigo Girls as their obvious inspiration.) Yes honeys, I could tell you stories...hmm, wait, that's what I seem to be doing. So, like, go to the bathroom now if you have to, because I am not stopping the car.
Anyway, we somehow decided to get married. This was pretty much like deciding to become butterflies. (Wouldn't have put it past us.) This kind of thing didn't happen regularly in those hallowed days, as you know. (Yeah but there might be children reading this.) We couldn't have cared less about legality, I don't think we would have grasped the concept, from our location deep in the loving heart of the then-actually-real counterculture, where couches were considered reactionary. We planned it to be something like a performance of "A Midsummer Night's Dream," and it really was.
Our raggtaggle group of friends paraded down the streets of Milwaukee in the dawn, playing various musical instruments and strewing rose petals. I swear. One of our commune-mates, Fred, was one of those mail-order ministers of something called the "Universalist Life Church," and he performed his lovely made-up ceremony with wonderful seriousness and ritual. Our fairy tale took place on the shores of Lake Michigan, fog horns calling like deep-voices spirits in the mist, wishing us well.
Then we trooped back to the house for a breakfast reception (which naturally evolved into a 48 hour fantastic full out celebration, complete with high quality "special supplements." Our straightest friend -- by which I mean, in the correct usage from 1971, "straight" as very conservative, not as hetero, which she also happened to be. She baked us a beautiful three layer cake and place it on her mother's silver cake stand. And there on top, this sweet girl had marched into a bakery and openly and cheerfully purchased TWO LITTLE BRIDES. There they were on top of the cake. I'll never forget that, ever. The photos are long lost, heartbreakingly. But I'll remember those two little plastic brides on my deathbed I'm sure.
The romance didn't last. We were young and emotionally challenged and went off in separated directions not long afterwards to launch different lives, and each of did that with flair and smarts and passionate and the whole package.
And Selene, if by some completely outlandish and impossible miracle you read this -- Hi sweetie.
Okay so do I win the world's longest "little website square space" prize yet? C'mon now, I deserve it. Do I win a ticket to your show.
Seriously though (Yeah I know, boring), I started this email intending to say one thing, and here it is, with no further adoo. Achoo!
When two people who genuinely love each other, care about each other, and care about joining their lives in order to create authentic, truly loving, sane lives together. Together. They step up and take that beautiful vow, which, amazingly, is not always based on wishful thinking.
When they do that, and share it with friends, and so much more when they use their celebrity for pure generosity and allow some again, somewhat sad freak like me to actually be affected by the evidence of their happiness..
Well, when that happens, you know what it does? Ellen and Portia, it changes the world. For real. That's how love works -- it's contagious. And Ellen, I know you've been there and back again several times in the realms of no-kidding-around suffering. And yet you go right on bravely living in the celebrity version of "reality" with up front generosity, love, and real flair.
And tonight, here in a hundred year old cabin in a more than hundred year old wild west mountain village, you made a solitary eccentric intellectual writer, who was somewhat sad and weary, weep for joy.
And that's how the world changes, one tear, one sigh of joy, one quiet new year's resolution to keep on believing in love at a time.
Thank you both. I don't have to wish you anything: you've got it. Thanks for sharing.
with real f--ing appreciation & cheers,
Lily, in Swallow Cottage, on Horsfal Mountain, Colorado

I read several of the comments people send to you regarding your life, well it is your life and don't let anyone sway you in any direction but the one that makes you the happiest. 20 years ago I lost my brother who was my best friend, he was age 40 and died from aids, he to was homosexual and that didn't phase me or my family a bit. He was my brother!!!! For all of you who share my grief know there is no greater gift than family no matter what they are!!!!!!
By the way your wedding photo's are beautiful and I wish you and Portia all the best in the word. Merry Christmas & Happpy Healthy New Year.

This is so fantastic! Portia you and Ellen both look so beautiful and Ellen, your Mum is obviously very proud, and beautiful too!
It's what the haters against Gay Marriage don't get, it won't destroy traditional family; if anything it strengthens our families. It gives our friends and families the opportunity to celebrate our lives as we do theirs when they get married. It lets them know we are safe and secure in relationships worth committing to; and that we as gay people deserve to have what most people want in life - committed loving relationships that endure.
God has already blessed you so I would just like to add my love and best wishes for a happy and continually prosperous life together.
All the best, Richard, Sydney Australia

Yeah Patrick-
Quit judgeing people. I bet God knows everything about you and your younger years. I am sure he knows that you knocked your girlfriend up in the back seat of a 57 Chevy. Remember Patrick, God hates (as you put it), premarital sex. Everyone is guilty of sin. Let's dont cast stones...okay Patrick.
Posted by Marissa | December 15, 2008 5:30 AM
For PATRICK:
How in the hell do you know what God hates? We were alway's taught that God Loves. He doesn't hate anyone of his children. You people who claim to know so much about God better start accepting a little more-or else you will probably end up going to hell yourself for judging others. God told us not to judge others. I can plainly see that you are a very judgmental person. I pray for you and your soul Patrick. Don't be a loser all your life!!!

love the pictures Ellen and Im so happy for you. No matter what in many viewers eyes. Its proof that you should be and always be happy the way you want to be.
as for some that wrote about the bible... bible was written by man... Yes Man..Translated by man the scrolls that we could read and even then.. its not 100% sure if they where translated to what they believed was what it said or not. Though back during a time that kings would change it over and over to better suit there needs... Try 26 times the bible was re written.
Be yourself.. and enjoy life.

If you celebrate Christmas, which you do, than you believe in God. And if you believe in God than you believe that the bible is his word. I suggest that you read the verses regarding marriage and homosexuality. I know that you dont care and you have probably heard this millions of times. But now I know that when you stand before God someday for judgement as it says in the bible, you cant say that knowbody ever told you. The bible makes it very clear, God HATES homosexuality.
I think your a great person and your very funny. I dont hate you for your beliefs Ellen. Just sharing what you should know. We all are in this world for just a season. What a shame it would be to gain the whole world but to lose your soul.
God Bless Ellen. I am praying for you. Merry Christmas

Marriage is in the heart.
I am in a wheelchair and cannot marry my mate
(He is a handsome strong lean man;)for fear of losing my financial benefits, so, we have to be content with our union of LOVE as is. We will be celebrating our 15 year anniversay of our meeting each other this coming Christama Eve.

Ellen, dang it ~ I have been trying to pick a favorite for over an hour!
I finally picked this one ~ because all you ladies are togethter. Your dearest Portia, your lovely and very supportive Mother and of course you!
I loved them all but this one takes the cake because I LOVE the way that both you and your mom are looking at Portia, you look nervous and excited at the same time full of love for Portia.
Your mom looks confident and assured that Portia is your soulmate and Portia looks full on in love with you.
I can only imagine what was running through all of these lovely ladies minds at this very moment.
Know that much love and wishes come your way from the bottom of my heart ~ You deserve it my dear!

Hey Ellen,
I am a huge fan and have been since the early days when you were a stand up. I appreciate the risk you took airing your coming out of the closet episode and I beam with pride that you were able to overcome the shadows of negativity that was raised. I love your show and I am so proud of you for being a role model and advocate for the GLTB community. You make me laugh so hard and your show is so uplifting. Your wedding was absolutely beautiful (based on the photos I have seen) and I am so happy for you. I was saddened to learn about proposition 8 and stand behind you in your fight to get gay marriage legalized. I live in Washington state and am planning to get married to my wonderful partner, Emily in this next year. I have a dilemma though, I can't seem to find a nice women's tuxedo though. Do you or any of your staff have any ideas for women tuxedos in the seattle area? I know I have seen some but they are fairly pricey and we have a limited budget. Any ideas would be appreciated. Well congratulations on your success--your show, Emmys, and your marriage.
Sincerely a huge fan (well I am not huge-just my love of your show),

Come to Toronto, Cananda!! You can renew your vows here!!!!! I think it's absolutely absurd, this PROP 8. They can't just play with people's lives like this.
Posted by kandy | November 8, 2008 6:56 PM
DEAR ELLEN AND PORTIA, i AM SO SAD THAT PROP 8 WAS VOTED OUT. I pray for the day that we are all granted the same rights. For now, just love each other You are married in your hearts and no one can vote that away. God Bless. Keep the faith!!!

Ellen - I know how disappointed you are about the failure of Prop. 8. I think that's awful. Just remember, the most important part of your marriage is in your hearts, not in a law book or a voting booth, or in the many narrow minded negative people out there. You have made a commitment before God, and to each other. Hold on to that. And, OMG, how beautiful is that Portia !???! Holy heck ! My best, Laurie V.
Posted by laurie | November 5, 2008 4:39 PM
My heart breaks for you and everyone else that is going through discrimation. Remember not everyone is narrow-minded, hate mongers who use a bible to promote hate. Shame on them.
I am so sorry that you have to fight for rights that should be the same as mine.. To marry and divorce.. marry again and to finally be happy (LOL). I don't live Ca but if I did I would help in your fight to be treated like any else.
The world is changing and so is our Government..President and Congress.. you'll see victory in the near future I am sure of it.

Hello Ellen & Portia,
It's the day after the American election and we cannot imagine how you both must feel after the defeat of Prop.8. It is hard to believe that there are people in the USA that are against other people's happiness.
Please remember nobody can take away that beautiful wedding day you both enjoyed and will hold close in your hearts.
Those people who believe in freedom and happiness for all are thinking of all gay and lesbian couples today but both of you especially.
In this modern age we need to step forward and not return to discrimination. Please keep fighting for your rights. You have the power, put it to good use.
There now is a mixed race president of the USA and who would ever have thought that might have happened 50 years ago. There is hope!!!!!
We are thinking of you and you have each other to stay strong in your believes.
Bless you both.

Ellen, As I have sat with such excitement and anticipation all evening watching the election returns, I have also dealt with a knot in the pit of my stomach watching for the results of Prop 2 & 8. Now after searching the internet for the numbers thus far, I sit shaking my head in sick disbelief at the intolerance and stupidity of those still feeling it is their right to place their morality and value issues in charge of so many gay and lesbian couples happiness and rights.
I cannot imagine being personally excluded from such basic rights as being able to be yourself and love who you love.
Your pictures are beautiful testimony of your completion of each other. I am sorry for this apparent step backwards in intelligence.

Dear Ellen and Portia,
It's me again.
I wanted to say that I am praying with you tonight that Californians will make the right choice and vote NO on Prop 8. This must be a horribly anxious time for you both, so I want you and everyone else whose rights are threatened by this proposition that there are people who support you, and that you're not alone in the struggle towards tolerance, understanding, and EQUALITY.
Everyone vote No on 8!
I wish I could vote no, too....
All I can do is pray, and hope.

Ellen, your mother looks so beautiful in this picture (#11). Having gotten to know your mom a little through the years, it is so easy to see how you grew up to be a person of deep integrity, humility and character. You stand grounded in all that is good and true. You use your gift of humor wisely and well!!!!!!!!!! I admire you so very much, and that's putting it mildly! You use your celebrity for the good of others and you are a gift of light and joy in an oftentimes frightening world.
Namaste!

your wedding pictures are beautiful and your wife as well she blessed to have a special person as you ellen i wish you the upmost happiness in the world..
The 3 of you look great, just like you're supposed to look on your wedding day. These are some of the nicest pictures I've seen, no wonder you wanted to keep it private. That way you could get these types of shots. My husband & I are about to have our 15th anniver. on my 40th birthday. It is sometimes very hard but knowing that you are supposed to be together helps in ways that no one would believe. Know that it is not 50/50 every day of the week... some days it may be 60/40 or even 70/30 and when those days come that is when we do what our great-grandmothers would have done...tuck your chin put your shoulder to the wind and go right through the rough patch. Also when those days happen you never know who will be on the receiving end of the 60 or 70 it is always good to remember if you won last time maybe someone else could win this time. I know you are a little older than me but you also know how hard it is to keep a relationship together...something we have in common. If you don't expect every single day to be completely perfect then you will have even more to be happy about when it is.

That is Psychoanalyst, and not about God,whether is your God or mine,it has nothing to do with God or praying. You should read more, not to be a jeark, but you should. It has nothing to do with religious people or God for that fact..it only resumes to the people that use God,and bend him to there will as they please to justify there hate, fear and insecurities.
You should give Sigmund Freud and Jung a chance, they are nice people, real smart too..changed the mentality at that time, and they help us understand more about human nature and who we all are and how we function..you should also look into german philosophy some more,so you could understand yourself better, try Friedrich Hegal,he talks about the relationship between religion and humans in so many levels.
So if you though it was about yourself just because you are a christian, then thats is what you wanted to belive..for me christianity was and should be a religion of love, thus the second testament, where its all about being equals as humans, and all about love..is not my fault that some people use of the greatest things in history into a machine of manipulation and hate.So this is not about Chritianity, this is not about God,this is not about any of thouse things, and people that really know there religion, and read it with there hearts, know that this is not a religion vs gay type of thing. You can be a great christian and a great beliver in God and be gay..so it has nothing to do with it.As i already told you it was about the human psychick, for all the people that use Gods voice an will to justify there hate and there fears.
Maybe, just maybe you should read at least twice what i said in there before commenting on it..just maybe.and i am happy that you will pray for me,because i feel we should all pray for this whole humman race, and all the bad we are doing to our natural enviroment,to all the kids we kill in wars,to all the damage we do to the animals and all the violence we bring to this world.
Posted by dunger vivian | October 7, 2008 7:09 AM
Dear Dunger, got much time on your hands? I think it is a little sterotypical of you to put Christians in a not-so-neat, little package. Isn't that what the gay community does not want us to do to them? I happen to know some pretty amazing people who just happen to be gay. And, just because I believe in God, doesn't mean I don't appreciate a beautiful person whether they are gay or not. God says to treat all people the same, no matter what they prefer, look like, etc. I also don't believe God makes bad things happen, I choose to believe that is the devil trying to break our faith, and that God will be there when it does. As a person who has had cancer 3 times, currently breast cancer, I CHOOSE to believe that I will be healed and that everyone deserves the same as I do. I would pray for and expect that God heals anyone whom I pray for regardless of what they choose to do or believe. I guess that is part of the constitutional rights, or so I thought. I could be wrong, but thank you for your thoughts on the subject. I'll pray for you next that God could possibly open your eyes to the whole picture and not some "little piece." I apologize on behalf of the person (s) who have hurt you and made you believe that we all share the same belief. God Bless you Dunger, AND Ellen & Portia as well. Your day was beautiful, and you both are beautitful people as well. Thank you for sharing!

You igonorant people. This is not a minority as you like to call it,one of ten people is gay..so stop acting so surprised all the time. You all know at least one person that is gay.Second of all,you all"normal"folks that judge us all the ones that dont suit your oppinions of normality let me talk to you as a psychologist because i am one..YOU ALL HAVE THE "GOD COMPLEX".That is what we call it in our profession..and it goes like this...your lifes sucks..you all are grown to belive that God exists and so by the time you learn to think, you start asking yourself"well if God exists, then why is my life so damn sad,so damn empty, why is Gods controll of things missing?"..and after a while you turn it into fear of not controling your life, the people and the events in your lifes, then you turn your fears into hate,oh God abandon me and that usually goes well with my dad,or my mom or my family abandon me,and then the husband or the kids or the boyfriend,or we are together but we gown apart. And so you turn your lack of control in your life into hate, the lack of Gods direct hand and voice into hate and so you decide"hey i know what i will do,i will BE GOD,for others..""Uh..lets see,the gay comunity sounds kind of nice to control"and from there on you just pore your hate on gay people,on black people, women or men or old people,on diffrent religions then yours people,on anyone that you think God should "get ridoff".Well, let me tell you..and this may come as a shock to you"YOU ARE NOT GOD".Whatever abandonment issues you got take it out on the couch with me,a professional, psychologist that can help you with your fears. And if God exists and we are his children, trust him,we are not a mistake.
Portia and Ellen your wedding has been the most beautifull thing i have ever seen in my life. And i do mean that..Portia is an epiphany.I could sit all day just watch her talk,or walk, move her hair with her fingers from her face, anything and everything she dose its more then my eyes bare to see..I do mean that. Its like "Australian Beauty"[American beauty]"I feel my heart is gonna burst"everytiem i see her.Ellen it was about time;D,as i like to joke with my mate about that"We lost Portia",first Angelina now Portia..
She is the epiphany of how your wife should be, look, sound, walk, and the way she looks at Ellen send shivers down my spine and tears up my eyes..
Everybody we should ONLY talk about love and that is all.We should only celebrate your love and the fact that Portia is GORGEOUS..but as we all see we didnt found a cure yet for hate and igonrance and most important for fear.Wish you all the love in the world, that it seams from the films and pictures you already have..as i was thinking for days now, ever since i saw your wedding day video, your love somehow has reached out trough the lens and out into our worlds, into my world, and hasnt left me..It is here with me as i speak..your love has made me a better and happyer more hopefull human.
I for one i am pretty blessed in that department and somehow between my looks,my jokes and my brain,I am never alone and i find love and loves find me...but since i saw this video i said man,i want more, more, more,i want that same look that you get from Portia, from the woman i will be with..is something obsessiv about love, that gets to us all, call me a romantic. All my european and universal love goes out to you girls.Ellen we dont have your show in here, but i do watch it on the internet.I really hope you can feel the love you Ellen and Portia has gave me,from your world coming back from us all,all over the world..
Anyway To all of you that turn God into a private vendeta"Nothing's gonna change my world,Nothing's gonna change my world".Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love LoveLove Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love Love

Not to turn this into a political or religious debate, because this is just about your beautiful day and both or you look so wonderful and happy, but to anonomous: Human beings fight against all types of things that "god" created or intended as you say. God creates illnesses, diseses, and we fight it. We keep fighting so many things that "god" has created but those issues never get brought up, they never get noticed. True, man and women are created to "fit", too re-create. The free will that "god" has given us allows us the choice to feel what we want to feel no matter who it is with. It's internal chemistry between to humans, and they have it, And they are both so lucky that they have found it in eachother.

Fabulous pictures! But even a good (no great) photographer can't create the emotions and energy that are obvious in these pictures. It has to come from your hearts. Thanks so much for sharing with your fans. Hopefully it will touch the hearts of those who can't see beyond the genes. Candy

Oh well, not my thing, but i hope you both remain as happy as you both appear to be today, for always. Marriage is and should be a lifetime commitment, whether it be between same sex couples or man and woman. I wish you both every success, after all it is team effort.

Helen, yes I am late in my congratulations, but better late than never!!! I didn't R.S.V.P. to your wedding since I never received an invitation (maybe I'll get invited to something else). It looks like everything about your wedding was beautiful, including you, Portia and Mama! You do need to make Portia eat, she looks too thin (this coming from a Fatty Patty). Love the show, love you and best wishes to you all!

You are an inspiration to all of us gay's everywhere. My hubby and I have been together for almost 8 years, and couldn't be happier. We had a ceremony that was beautiful, but nothing legal yet. I always said I did not believe in marriage...for many years, until I met Jo and suddenly I had the urge to be married to her...simply because I was inlove and proud and happy and everything was beautiful and magic and perfect. Luckily London approved or gay marriages :)
Have a wonderful life together, because you are the real deal too!

I can only HOPE to find what you have with Portia. I think both of you love each other deeply and it shows. I was with my girl for almost 25 years when she just walked. My life feels like it's over and I don't know if I will ever find another to love and be loved by them. I can only pray to find someone as beautiful, inside and out, as you and Portia. Congratulations to two very special ladies and thank you both for sharing your special moments. Maybe now others will feel that they can share also. Love you both! Have a long, loving, caring, sharing and giving life together.

After I read the People Magazine with your cover and story, I wanted so badly to see more pics, so thank you for sharing all those great things on your show today. The moment you saw each other for the first time in your gown and suit made my heart melt. I am getting married next month, so this was all so much more emotional for me to watch! I just wanted to tell you that your wedding photos were absolutely beautiful...of course you already know that - Captian Obvious over here. Anyway, I was watching the show this morning and saw the pictures and I cried. The one where you and Portia saw each other for the first time in your wedding outfits really got me. Everything I saw of the day looked perfect and I'm sure you both had an amazing time. I hope that the two of you will always have the feelings of that day in your hearts forever. Congratulations!!!
