first of all let me just say what an awesome person you are.You are always in a great mood and having a great time, i know we would best friends if we had the chance.... Your wedding pictures are gorgeous and so are the two of you and the love you share for each other. Being just recently married, I am a young bride some might say and so i was a little worried about what my family would say and they told me You could marry and dog and we would be fine as long as your happy. I think it is wonderful that you don't care what anyone thinks or about there opinions. Thats another thing we have in common. I say if it doesn't have to do with you put a cork in it. If other people are allowed to be happy why can't you!!! We could not afford a big wedding such as yours as the economy is in a bad state of mind right now but Mr. Barack Obama shall be taking care of that soon, also my Brother-in-law was fighting for our freedom in Iraq at the time. God Bless him. But when we do get the money for a big wedding eventually in a coulple of year i hope it is as BEAUTIFUL as yours. Good luck to the two you and maybe someday we'll all have lunch. My girlfriend and I were only able to get the Domestic Partnership in CA back in 2005. Then when they back-peddled on allowing same-sex marriage I felt like we weren't valued as a people. The Prop 8 decision made me feel like I wasn't valued as a HUMAN. Seeing the two of you actually DO IT has instilled a faith in me that reminds me Who I Am and what the possiblity of my Being is, NOT who they decide me to be. Being the Catholic wife and mother, I honestly wasn't sure how I would feel about seeing these pictures...but the love between you both shines through so bright. LOL I am a republican, conservative, southern Baptist from South Carolina. I think that it is great that you have found so much live in your life. I Got so tickled reading down though this posting sight. All of these people are so mad and angry and yet they took the time to find your website and look through the photos and make nasty comments. At least you got people talking. I am straight. I have been married for 11 years to the man of my dreams. We have two beautiful children and are blissfully happy. Love is an awesome thing. I think fear and intolerance are too. I hope so much that My God forgives these people for there intense need to judge for that is also a sin. I had an older lady tell us when we got married that the secret to a good Marriage was to not fall out of love at the same time. Dear Ellen, I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and came to this country about 18 years ago. I usually watch my international channel "Globo International" from a satelite dish (no choice of cable on this channel in my area). But I love watching your show at 9am and it's one of the few american shows I watch. The other day my jaw was sore when I realized it was frozen for half an hour while watching you on tv. I was smiling the whole time sitting alone in my living room. Too funny!

My vote was for equality but my family voted against me. Just because religion tells us to vote against same sex marriages does not mean we have to become followers. I fought hard here at home to open my families mind to change, but I'm sorry to say that I failed. Everyone deserves the right to marriage if they so choose. Just because we are straight doesn't mean we can do marriage any better.

Congrats on your marriage. I've dated my husband for 7 yrs before we got marry and marriage is a totally different feelings then dating. Even though I am only 27 and I've been a bit longer let me give you a little advice if you guys diagree. Every marriage there will be disagreement, if you really need to talk, go in the shower together, because its calm and soothing so there will be no yelling or raising of a voice. It helps!!
