Ellen, by far one of the most beautiful weddings I've seen.You both looked incredible.I too got married under a tent and loved it.We had friends actually prop tents inside of it at the end of the night and sleep over! The tent was disgusting the next morning however! nice to see a $200.00 cake sitting out with flies all over it!

My work hrs are from 9am to 8pm so with all those hours working it is very hard for me to watch anything but, I make sure I watch your sure every chance I get. I am a mom of four with one on the way,(we just found out)! My fiance and I are very happy even with the four we have. Family is what its all about and adding to our family is what we do. I viewed your wedding photos and I am so jealous. Those must be the most perfect photos I have ever saw. Your photographer needs to travel to my state (RI) so I can borrow her for my wedding. We dont have a date yet because of the expense. With 4 children and one on the way that is the last thing we can afford. This year has been especially hard on us, as my husband isn't working and I am disabled. We are on a limited income & strugglig to get by. We know at least for an hour, we forget about the bills, economy, holidays and knowing we can't afford to do anything for others or ourselves. Your show is a great outlet for us, as you make us smile and laugh. You have a great smile and sparkling eyes and you are an inspiration to many.

I was with my lover for 11.5 yrs till he died with cancer at the age of 42 ( his name was Michael)he never smoked by the way, but we were so happy with what we had we did not have much but our LOVE for one another was all we need!

I Loved him so much and miss him and you never know how much you need one another till the other is gone, it is still tuff for me too not think of him not a day goes by and it is so hard for me at time I only have my friends too talk with and his mother. she is 80 and lost everything they had together now lives with her old child a daughter.
we talk and sometime talk about him as this is the first Christmas with out him in 11.5 yrs I as sit here I am cring I have tried web sites and going out but most are just into the games and are fakes I am tring to move on but it is so hard right now with the holidays coming I feel lost and dont know which way too go or do!

Such beautiful pictures. Myself, my husband, and our six teen and young adult kids, all straight, worked so hard to defeat prop 8. We were so sad it passed. The kids are having such a hard time, because it seems like such an obvious issue, and it's passing was a hard slap. But the work goes on, and we will be part of it. And one day when it's all over, and everyone is afforded equality and dignity under the law, we will be able to say we stood up. I wasn't alive to be there during Martin Luther King Jr's million man march, but this is the civil rights issue of our time.

During our rallies, prop 8 supporters always asked me, "So you're okay with your kids being gay"? Of course! Why would anyone think a gay person is somehow fundamentally flawed. None of my kids are gay, but based on the numbers, I will probably have a gay grandchild, and when that person asks me about these days, I want to be able to tell him or her that Grandma was there making things better for when they came along.

I look at are world sometimes and think, its sad how we think we are moving a lot faster now compared to the past, but then a situation like same sex marriage comes up or having a coloured president (and people worrying about his life…No one worried when a white man was elected) and we see that isn’t the case. :(

You 2 deserve to be as happy as any other couple. Male & Female, Male & Male or Female & Female, everyone deserves to be treated equal and everyone deserves to be able to live their life the way they want without any judgement. You two look extremely happy and that’s all that should matter. A piece of paper shouldn’t be able to decide if 2 people are meant to spend the rest of their lives together.

How could anyone see this picture and think it's wrong. My girlfriend and I live in Florida and were disapointed that amendment 2 passed, as I have recently asked her to marry me. I've spent a number of years wishing my daughter would find the man of her dreams, and I'm not sure he exists. She's had long term relationships that have caused her a great deal of pain when they've ended. At this stage of my life as a mother I would accept a same gender relationship if she were truly happy and comfortable with her choice as the two of you are. You do appear to complete each other. Best wishes to you for a long, healthy and happy lifetime together.

It's terrible that the states can control such a major personal choice. Maybe they should spend more time focusing on starving families, the unemployed and homeless people, then their time would be better served and the public could agree with them.

It makes me sad that your marriage is now annuled but I guess the bright side of things is that you did get to have that special day and they can never take the memories or the amazing pictures away from you. You both look so happy in all the photos and I hope that someday in the not to distant future you will be able to get it back on paper that you are married it is such a wonderful thing and all your fans and myself included will root for it everyday. I was so sorry to hear of the "8" conclusion. In the place I live it is legal to marry your partner no matter the gender and it saddens me that your country can not take this step forward. Know that as far as many of us are concerned you are married. Someday hopefully people will come around and realize that love is love and no one should judge the love between any gender combination.

You have me between a rock and a hard place though as I find it hard to agree with same sex marriage but still can fully empasize with your needs and rights as well.
You do have my head in a big debate - for I am a logistics person that thinks of the good of the whole. However I have since looked at other fields of the 'whole': Deducing that same sex marriages could well be a positive for the 'whole of society' and the evolution of earth.
