Dear Ellen, I have never seen your programme here in NZ. It airs mid afternoons and I'm usually at work. Have been home with winter ills and have been absolutely cheered up by your programme. It's been better that flu medicine. Thanks for the pleasure and belated congratulations on your marriage. I think we are probably heaps behind what's screening state side - today was your birthday bash!! Many happy returns.

hey Ellen,
I just wanted to congratulate you and your wife on your marriage. I must say you both looked just beautiful. Also I just wanted to say that I will be missing your show because they are no longer broadcasting here in Calgary, AB Canada and I must say that I am truly up set about that. And because I am truly upset about this I have sent a letter of complaint to the Calgary station and hopefully they will take it into consideration and put you back on-air, because I must say that my 5 o'clock s are not the same without your show. I will most definitely miss your show including your dancing, you making me laugh and everything else that you do.

Dear Ellen,
I enjoy your show and your upbeat positive personality. I have made a decision to no longer watch your show and encourage others not to watch your show because of how one-sided you treated McCain. I have never seen you display such horrible behaviors as you did that day. Review your show on how you treated Obama then review how you treated McCain. McCain at a minimum deserves your respect not only because he personally put his life at risk for your freedom but also because he is a human being. Even though he does not agree with gay/lesbian marriage, he not once disrespect you in your interview and try to put you in a corner. You on the other hand made remarks at his comments and when an audience member asked a question you chimed in again. Look at your body language. I've never seen you act like that. You might want to review Obamas position on gay/lesbian "marriage". Watch him dance around the subject. You may also want to be greatful of how far gay/lesbians have come in today's world and still have more steps to make e.g. "contracts" to "marriage". Something else that you may want to think about is the bigger picture. Which candidate "overall" is going to be best President for the American people economically, protection, independence, and other issues. Not just one issue.
Ellen, you are successful not because you are a lesbian but because of what you do, how you treat others, your actions, and the ability to make us laugh. When your show was cancelled you pulled yourself up, set some goals and succeeded. Look at you now. I like the woman who kept going and didn't give up. I like the woman who yells ka-kah back at cha who dances. I like the woman who tried to get the puppy returned to the little girl. I will miss her.
Sincerely,

Congratulations to both of you! You both look absolutely stunning and very much in love. I wish both of you a long and happy marriage. I Tivo your show everyday and ever since you began your show, probably have only missed 10 shows and that was because I moved and did not have cable for a week.
You make me laugh everyday and brighten my spirits no matter what is going on in my life. I truly wish I lived closer to actually come to your show. I look forward to your new season and your new TV home! You are just the best!
