helloooooo ellen and team members....whutt the february ????? i just wanted to let u know that even tho' the group picked to take the hwy to ellen was okay...u missed it when u didn't pick our group...but, it was nice to see them have such a great time !!! i have loved watching u as long as i can remember...my favorite episode on the ellen show was when u were stuck on the fence i think that should be recreated....i laughed my butt off each and every week...u r still one crazzzzy gurl and i would have loved to have met u...i still am hoping to win a gmc acadia....as i said when i sent my entry to hwy to ellen i have 3 veh's one is over 200,000 one is 197,000 and one is 155,000 .... now if that is not sad i don't know what is....i haven't ever asked for or dreamed of having a brand new vehicle ... but, u r so compassionate and giving that i thought u may be my answer to not being left on side of the road one day....i've watched alot of shows and u have brought more to the table than anyone...u r a blessing to so many and touch thousands of lives ... even if i don't win a vehicle, i still think u r the greatest and i watch every chance i get and talk about yr show alot....continue to stay the caring person that u r....god bless

Hi Ellen,

Just wanted to let you know what an inspiration you are to all of us. My wife, Carol, thinks you are the greatest and watches your show as much as possible.
Her wish is to be able to meet you in person someday. Much like you she is the most loving, caring and unselfish person in the world. She has devoted 27+ years to me. I have severe heart disease and she has been my partner and supporter through all. I just wanted to say thank you for all you do and tell you that you are always in our thoughts and prayers. Hope to meet you one day.

I've been watching your show every chance I get. I've seen your gmc giveaways and I know how great those people feel. I won a car from a radio contest fifteen years ago. Ninety-five listeners had a chance to pick the right key. Each person popped a ballon with a number inside. That was your place in line to pick a key. Two key winners did't show up for the drawing. The 1st no-show had a person from the dealership pick the key and guess wwwhat, that was the winner. Everyone went home bummed out, myself included. I just had a feeling that was my car to win, life was full of losing events at that time. Two weeks later the contest was on again. Rules were broken, the winner had to be present. After hearing comments you will never win ect, I headed back to the contest and told my then 17 year old son I was going to win. I told him a person must keep positive thoughts and energy. I won and was more than thrilled. My son called last Friday and asked me to send positive thoughts and energy to him, he won a key with a 1 in 20,000 chance to win a new car. He lives in Santa Monica,Ca. Life has been really rough for him for a while now, but he still believes in good karma and he didn't win. Maybe he will get another chance for a car on the Ellen Show. I told you my story because I just realized every time I watch your show you pick a real person and give them an extra special day to remember,a dream come true. You have such a special gift and you share it on The ELLEN Show. I can't afford to miss it.

dear ellen, i just recently went to see one of your shows live (2-4-08).it was great. your staff was great and accomadated my disability. I became disabled just recently, october due to a seriously reaction to a medication which caused me to develop congestive heart failure. i also developed a condition called edema which is part of the illness congestive heart failure. i took a medication called avandia which has been televised with warnings. i have diabetes which you take avandia for. when i shared this concern with the doctor who prescribed it to me she simply said" the benefits far out weigh the risks" unfortunately that wasn't true in my case. i could have died from the reaction i got from the medication. the reason i am writing is that maybe you could share this with your audiences so that they can be aware of this and not get effected the way i did and to thank you for the wonderful work you aare doing for the folks in new orleans. my friends and i who went to your show felt so much compassion that when the containers went around in the audience that we gtave what we coud. we wished we could have given more but be that my funds are now limited due to being on disability that my income has been cut in half but at least i have a home to live in and food to eat. mt heart goes out to those people in new orleans .GOD BLESS YOU and the people in n.o. thanks for everything you do sincerly, Marietta Calva

Hi Ellen,
Great show as always, if you are visiting NY in November again, how do you get tickets?

end entry

First of all, Just wanted to let you know that I think you are AWSOME!!!! I love you and your show.. You make me laugh no matter how bad my day has been.. -Thanks for that!!!

I was just wondering.... You said at the end of one of your shows (when you gave away the red Acadia) for your viewers to send an email on WHY they think they deserve to win the next Acadia. Would this happen to be "THE NEXT" GMC Acadia that you were giving away?? I had submitted an email, and was just wondering if this fine lady from Louisiana was the winner.....

Thanks for all the laughs, and all you do...
LUV YA!!!!

Just like other comments - your email confirmation of the GMC Acadia give away does not work. If the contest is over - get it off the website so people are not misled. I do love the Ellen show and Ellen - many a day I am feeling down and she lifts me out of the slump - but when things are done half ??? way like this it annoys me. It is a waste of time - very frustrating.

My little boy ADORES you and takes every opportunity with his asthma to watch YOU!!! He switches off cartoons and puts on ELLEN!!! He is a diehard fan and when asked what he wanted for his birthday in November, he wanted ELLEN tickets!!!! on your show when you go to the theme park. hahaha! How loyal is THAT!???

I watch the Ellen show daily, and I have since the show started. I love her humor and her outlook on life. Almost two years ago my daughter was murdered by her husband, and not only with the support of my friends and family but also by watching Ellen have I been able to get through. Watching Ellen has helped me to see that laughter is truly the best medicine and, as much as the pain of losing my daughter is a daily thing, it is still okay to laugh. Thank you Ellen for helping me to laugh through the hardest times of my life. I wish you and your show much success and longevity. Thank you for being there Ellen.

I emailed you a story about my mom last week in your regular email as a question. I did'nt know if you normally send a confirmation that you received it I t is a very serious situation and I wanted to to see what you thought. You are the best show host and the most entertaining I have ever watched. Please read my story about my mom. I know how much you care for your mom and I wanted you to know my mom's story. It has been very hard to see her go through this. Thank you and Bless you, Tammy
