Hey Granny, WAKE UP!!!!!! Oh and mom, Look AT the camera not that hottie that is over looking at the shoes!!!! lol

They were robbed. The photographer knew what he was doing. It's one of those deals where they lure you in with the promise of a free picture. Only they get to choose the free picture the worst one in the group, but you have paid the sitting fee. Oh well, you just take the free(paid) picture and tell all your friends what a rip off they are. Remember the line from 'Lethal Weapon 2' "They f... you in drive through", so do those mall photography studios.

OMG! I almost passed out laughing. The woman holding the baby looks like the baby just pooed and she is trying to avoid the smell.
The woman on the other side is doing her " I am ready for my close up face " .
And the 2 grannies .. Well one is asleep or dead, and the other looks like she is trying to say. " I think the old lady next to me is dead " .
This picture is way funny.

So, woman on left hand is looking at ...who knows what...Grandma #1 is sleeping..Grandma #2 is..umm..The glare on her glasses is so bad she could also be sleeping. Woman on right hand side is outa of it..not exactly sure WHAT she is looking at..at least woman on left is looking generally in the direction of where the camera might be..and i'm not quite sure whos baby that is because the woman holding him doesnt look like she wants to hold him! lol Hilarious!

Oh - so bad yet so funny on so many levels -
the pitfalls of genetics....whenever you think your family is crazy or annoying, you can take a look back at this shot and think "maybe they are not so bad afterall..."

Is grandma sleeping???
Posted by Alyssa Wheeler | October 10, 2008 8:11 AM
I'm nearly crying laughing at this! It really should win a prize! I'm going to print it off to put above my desk here at work to give me something to smile about! You'd nearly pay for it just for the giggles alone!!
Thanks for the laugh!

One more thing, I went to a Kmart to take pics for the holidays (my daughter was almost 3 mths old). I couldn't believe the bad pics that came out, I think it might have been before they let you preview the pics (it was about 11 1/2 years ago). I was p****d that we had to wait so long. Then the baby started crying, her dad kept telling me to do something to calm her down, he wouldn't smile & the girl taking the pic had no imagination whatsoever. She took us in the same pose about 7 times. I just wanted to get out of there cause no one was cooperating. The only reason the pics got paid for was 1). I didn't pay for them 2). I wanted to get the heck out of dodge 3). The baby was hungry & 4). Since I was breastfeeding I couldn't let the baby start to cry again. All those mothers who breastfeed know what happens when a baby cries (I had on a new white blouse). I wish I hadn't destroyed those pics, I could've uploaded the one of me talking through clenched teeth. LOL

I can't stop laughing & i'm not even looking at the pic anymore. The mom holding the baby looks almost afraid of the baby. The lady on the left is clenching her teeth cause she's p****d off the baby won't stop crying & it's taking too long to take the pic. Grannie got tired of waiting & Grandma looks like she's trying to sneak off before she's associated with these people. It looks like they gave the little girl in front a piece of candy to shut her up cause she kept complaining they were taking too long & she just wants to go home. Trust me this is an actual pic taken by a bad photographer, they only paid for the pic cause they felt bad that they made the photographer wait till the baby stopped crying. That's why gramma fell asleep. They're not looking at the camera cause they're looking at the monitors to see how they look w/out realizing the camera man has already taken the pic. Hopefully this is the test shot.

I'm sitting at my desk gasping for air from trying to contain my hysterical laughter from an officemate who would not see the humor. Too funny!
Posted by ec | August 20, 2008 12:39 PM
What's wrong with this one? It just looks like a normal family after paying the bills for the month and realizing there's nothing left for groceries or diapers.
Posted by deb | July 24, 2008 12:43 PM
LOL!!!! definitely not one to pay for!!

A nice group photo of four ex-wives of Warren Jeffs and their two children.
They do everything bigger down in Texas...

Now THIS is my definition of a photo you wished you hadn't paid for...it is HILARIOUS! Nobody is looking at the camera at all. Everybody is either sleeping or in their own world. My guess is this was a K-Mart special!
I'll bet they paid for this photo because it was probably the best one of the lot! LOL
Posted by Jewel | May 20, 2008 3:31 AM
This is real and I know this was taken way before we could preview what was taken, technology rules!!
Posted by amber | May 18, 2008 3:18 PM
Too freakin' HILARIOUS. Frightening, yet hilarious!

Posted by Daisy | May 5, 2008 8:10 PM

Grannie Agnita with the dark grey hair can’t find her dentures. Auntie Esther on the right knows where they are but isn’t about to tell. Cousin AnneLouise on the left is gritting her teeth from too tight braces and is wishing she had dentures. Grandma Ethel (light grey hair) is bored out of her mind with the missing denture story. Little Melody in front has the missing dentures in HER mouth! The baby is thankful she doesn’t have any teeth!

OMG, this is just like one of my own family photos...there are 5 of us kids, 3 grandchildren and our parents. If you don't think this is an actual family shot, then you've never had to try and takea large family photo after waiting at the picture place for over an hour! LOL
Posted by Jacquie | March 24, 2008 1:21 PM
This was the "test shot" before the actual portrait was taken. They always take a couple to test lighting and equipment. Hilarious though!
Posted by Annie | March 20, 2008 12:31 PM
Ellen this is the perfect example of what you were talking about when you said there were too many cameras.....such as Ann Curry on NBC. There must have been at least 4 cameras for this shot and it looks like Grandma just closed her eyes because of all the little boxes and scrolls on the screens and it was makinf her dizzy.

There is no way this is an actual photo, my friends. They must have just taken a sleeping pill. This is a most unfortunate picture.
If this is you, I bet your still cool,

Why so skeptical of photoshop? I know that a picture like this is highly likely from my own family. !!
Posted by Misty Leigh and Rebekah | January 11, 2008 7:01 PM
Could they have at least asked the people in this photo to smile and look this way....Dear Lord this picture is funny I want it on my space as my opening pic
Posted by KGB | January 10, 2008 8:25 PM
Why would you go to a photographer dressed all differently? Why didn't they coordinate their clothes somewhat. The big question is....why would you buy this portrait?!
Posted by Sandy | January 10, 2008 3:07 PM
I think the first photo is the best (worst). SO funny... they look like they've all been photo-shopped in from different pictures. Somebody wake up granma!
Posted by Amanda Mitchell | January 10, 2008 11:39 AM
It looks like this has been pasted together by using photo shop. There only seems to be two of them looking at the same thing, and poor Grandma fell asleep waiting. But~~~one of those you just got to love years down the road.
