I watch your show daily if I am home. I don't have to worry about getting a laugh because it is definitely coming. the talent is usually so good or funny. My heart is so happy and I just cry when i see how so many people are helped by you in so many ways.

I work for a collection agency, yes and it is horrible. I watch your show on my lunch hour everyday and I always dance along with you and it lifts my spirits. I have told my boss that during our "lets go get them" meetings we should dance! What a perfect way to get the staff on a positive note. I think it should be a mandatory morning job requirment that you must dance before you start a job that tears you down. Just think how much more joyful those collectors would be! I just want to say that I enjoy looking at your show and I love to see you dance, you can move, smile, when I'm cleaning rooms at work(I'm a Housekeeper) I sneak and watch your show everyday at 2:pm, you should see me when someone come in the room, and the TV don't go off right away, But just to let you know I really do enjoy you and I think it is so nice that you are giving away things that people actually can use and won't just get it and put it away. I NEVER watch talk shows. You have changed that NEVER to I watch one talk show....yours. Your show is so sincere, easy going, and FUN to watch. You're so at ease and are obviously enjoying yourself! At times your eyes speak volumes. The stuff with kids is great.
I suffered severe nerve damage during a "routine" surgery and am now permanently disabled. The damage is in my left foot. I've gone from a very active 50 year old male to not able to be on my feet for any length of time at all. I'm having a lot of difficulty adjusting to the change...as are my wife and three beautiful daughters. Your show makes me smile. :) I look forward to that one hour five days a week that I can lay down, turn on the TV, and forget about the relentless pain. Thank you for helping me out. Keep the GREAT stuff comin'. Don't change a thing!!!!!

Ellen, This is really cool I can write you something and you just might read it. I would describe myself as quirky but not as quirky as you. You are hilarious, even when you're not trying. I bought your book,"my point and I do have one." a year ago when I worked at the airport in Phoenix. I was on foot and rode the bus home everyday. When I read it on the bus I would burst out laughing. People would stare at me like I was crazy, but only for a second because alot of the other passengers were crazy too. I would show them the book, while still laughing and say," Ellen, she's great you should get her book!"

My son is handicapped( normal until 8 months old when he had menningitis and left him with CP/seizures/developmental delays/osteoporosis/ has a feeding tube/doesn't walk talk and in diapers ...yup he has it all but he is THE most gorgeous guy on earth!!!) I quit my job three years ago to stay at home full time with him.( He will be 21 next month , the 7th ) He is sick very often so to get a reason to laugh "IS" important to us ! ELLEN! I am one of your biggest fans. I am so in love with you. Like it's crazy! There happens to be a "thing" though. The thing is, you always go to the big places around the States and I think you should air an episode live here in Fredericton, NB. Sure it's small, but there are SOOOOO many people who adore you here and cna afford to fly out there in LA. Something I noticed also was that there is a group on Facebook called CANADA LOVES ELLEN DEGENERES. And I think it'd be FABULOUS for you to maybe do a tour across the Canadian provinces. My husband and I moved to Chicago about a year and a half ago. I was 4 months pregnant when we moved, so I didn't go to work. That is when I started watching your show. After my son was born I could only get him to nap by laying in the recliner with him. I would turn on your show and laugh so hard, I was always afraid I would wake him up. Now that he is almost a year old, he likes to dance at the beginning of your show. It's so much fun. Thanks for making life here in the "Windy City" a little more enjoyable.

I'm a big fan of the show. your self-effacing non-nasty clean humor is refreshing. Since I'm a home-based insomniac couch potato, I usually catch your show 2-3 times here in the Philippines. The most current episode airs at 7pm, a rerun at 1am and another replay just after lunch the next day. Sometimes I see one episode as much as 4 times when they do a replay months after.

By the way, a lot of Americans (including Jim Kimmel) think Filipinos don't speak English and couldn't understand English shows. Just to correct the notion, Philippines is both a Filipino and English speaking nation. Now that that's out of my system....haaaah!

I usually start my day with watching your show from the previous day - I record it using my very old VCR, yes, with VHS tapes. They still make those believe it or not! No TIVO for me. I try to prepare myself for the work day ahead of me by getting in a good laugh or two before-hand. It does seem to help make the day go a little smoother, thanks to you and your show.
