But it surprised no one that Music Assistant, Robyn Hawkes’ “Beefy Bean Surprise” (surprise! No beef!) was this year’s winner of the “Golden Spoon And Fork Award” for chili excellence.
What can I say you are such a pleasure to see everyday. Your show always puts me in a good mood. God Bless you always.

Thanks, I sent a previous mail in witch I misspelled Portia name. I knew it didn't look right while I looked at it. I just wanted to let you you know that I made the mistake and wanted to correct it. Thanks Again. Ivan Jackson

Ellen-
What if your staff put together a cookbook with all the Chili recipes and then sell it on your site. Proceeds would go to Brad Pitt's "Make it Right".
To comment about the taxes the lucky winner has to pay on your prizes, well, I learned that years ago while watching an episode of "The Andy Griffith Show". Aunt Bee won all kinds of prizes and then had to give them back with the exception of one or two. Who said entertainment wasn't educational and informative?!

Ellen & staff!!!:
I love chilli! I had a bowl recently that was really good. It made my nose run... that's when you know its good!!!
Its nice to have cooks around!!! Congrats to the winners. The "surpise" word kinda scares me... but I'm daring so I'd definately would have a taste... not to sure about the "eye" ... that is kinda scary. The Inferno!!!! Now that tells me its hot and that I should see how hot is it!!!
I had a cold this winter and after I ate the chilli come to think about it... my sinus problem is no more!!!!
Thanks for sharing behind the scenes!!!
You all are appreciated in all that you do.
Love the show.

Well, enjoy your show and enjoyed your chili cookoff pictures. But I would put my chili up against anyone's chili. We make our chili VERY HOT and very TASTY!!!! But you don't like spicy, do you??? I live here in New Mexico, but am really a TEXAN and residents of both states love it HOT!!!
But let's face it.........you are HOT!!! And you have the HOTTEST Show on TV!!!! My husband and I love it. Keep up the good work.

Hey Ellen, Howz about I trade you some home made tamales for a ticket to your show? And if you make it two tickets, one for my husbanian of 31 years, I will make enough for your whole staff!
Just make sure there's somewhere I can store my B.Y.O.B.>>>> BRINGING-YOUR-OWW-BEEF!
Now there'z a deal!!
Happy Holidays, and I hope you and Portia have the same love and life, Leslie and I do!
Love,
Tina B.

Hey that's great you had a chili cook off. But, if you really think that your chili is all that, we have an annual chili cookoff/chinese auction every year in march right around St Patricks day! Most of the time wither my mother, my son (who is 10) or myself win. I know that it sounds like it's rigged, but I guess my father must have taught us well!
We, the Huntsburg Grange (Huntsburg, Ohio) would like to formally challenge your staff to come and compete in our chili cook off and see how well they do!
We triple-dog-dare you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The posted message about the Colin Street Bakery Fruit Cake is 100% correct. Love them, sorry can not afford to send them out this year.
Best cake filled and decorated with pecans like you've never had before. Salivating thinking of them.
Only form that doesn't require you to discuss age. Only important when you buy wine and cheese.
Thanks for an up-beat show. Hello to your Mom.
Keep on DANCING! Jean (Sr Citizen)

Looks so good I can almost smell it!! Would be great today--we're having an ice storm here in KS.
So upset to miss your show today because power keeps going out and cable is off. I'm at work until the 13th so hope the DVR at home had power and got you. Have never missed one yet! Love ya,

Since it is the 12 days of give aways. Why couldn't a home viewer receive the same gift you give away that day? Just a thought!!!!

Hey Ellen,
What a fun thing for your staff! I enjoyed the photos of the crock'n'roll chili cookoff. What about those great recipes? Hope you post the three winning recipes on your web site for us to try!
Thanks!

Hey Guys! I just entered my name in todays 12 Days of Christmas and came up with a thought:
Has anyone, who has won huge prizes, especially from Ellens show, ever been shocked when they got their form from Uncle Sam stating you have to pay taxes on all those goodies???? I just wondered if there were people out there that had no idea. Hey, if my husband wasn't an controller/accountant, I probably wouldn't know either.
