Oh my this is the best santa photo I've ever seen!!! Ha I love this kid...And those of you who are offended by this pic have to realize that she's just a child, and ALL children at some time has picked up a swear word or two, or flipped the bird, it's no big deal...Find your sense of humor PLEASE!

This is one of the greatest photos that I have ever seen!!! I almost fell off of my chair and peeded myself! (no joke) This little girl is too cool! People need to find the humor in things, life is to short not to! Ellen, I love you & your show! This is great.
This made me laugh out loud for sure! You know that kids at that age dont know what they are doing, but the face they are making makes you think otherwise!! so funny!

Haha, I love photos like this. I used to work at a children's portrait studio, and we had an entire back wall (for employees only) devoted to children innocently flicking off the camera. The funniest ones were the angel photos :) This definitely trumps them all though LOL! (PS Most infants hold up their middle finger in pictures at least once during a 10-20 photo shoot... toddlers do about half the time. They have no idea what it means -- totally a social construct, people. Don't worry about it. Most of the parents buy the photos anyway just to show them later down the road what they used to do LOL)

Whuut? Ellen the girl flipping the bird is hillarious. I swear I almost wet my pants! For real. I have a picture of my youngest daughter A'Sharia with her middle finger up,and I must tell you it, is a picture that I show whenever I get the chance. I know it's probabally wrong, but it makes me laugh everytime. She makes me proud! Love ya Ellen. "Keep on keepin' on". I love Gladys. Happy Holidays

kids will be kids they will learn it sooner or later. it's all in good fun.
Posted by heather | December 14, 2007 3:49 PM
Everyone has an opinion about this picture, but I want to know the REAL story about what happened. I know my nephew points with his middle finger all the time and evern though we try to tell him not to he still does. It is funny regardless of the story and the little GIRL, is too young to get what it means.

I think it is cute and is not meant to offend anyone. Whoever said it up above, lighten up!
Posted by Susan Graham | December 13, 2007 11:46 PM
ahahah I think this is one of the funniest things I have ever seen! and everyone needs to lighten up!!!

First off we don't teach our children that Santa has anything to do with the birth of Jesus, at least most don't. Kids see him as the "give me" guy. We don't know where she learned that gesture so if you did or didn't find this picture funny this isn't really a place to start a debate about it. Tis the season and all that you know. If it offends you just click to the next one.

I have never laughed so hard in my life! That is the best pic!

This little one definately asked for a pony, and Santa said "YES" she is obviously giving her parents the finger after she asked them and they said "NO"
I LOVE IT! This is hysterical!
Merry Christmas kid!

I don't think this is funny at all. Children should be taught respect for all. This is about
the birth of Christ and honoring his birthday.

We don't have to guess if shes been naughty or nice and from the look on her face being naughty may not be so bad after all.
Posted by Beth | December 10, 2007 11:02 AM
That's how I feel this year!!! LOL!!!
Posted by sandy | December 10, 2007 7:58 AM
LOL This one's on the naughty list for sure! :)
Posted by Sandie | December 10, 2007 7:27 AM
I think this photo is soooo funny in that the kid probably asked for a BMW and Santa said she was just too young!!!! I think I saw her on Rodeo Drive the other day. :) Its actually precious for a sweet young thing to be exerting her independence. I hope her mother buys her soap and coal for xmas and knows where to use it.
Posted by Lindsey | December 9, 2007 9:38 PM
LOL! It looks like the little girl is saying... "Yeah right Santa... I already know what I'm getting for Christmas... I peeked in the box!"
Posted by Bonnie J. | December 9, 2007 8:59 PM
Let me just say, this photo is very funny. I am the mother of a 6 year old boy and one day he got off the bus and asked me what it means to hold up "this" finger. Don't ever blame parents right away. Kids today learn too many things too soon. Especially on the school bus.
Posted by Jackie Kelly | December 9, 2007 8:35 PM
LOL! This picture is hilarious! Please people...you have to understand that this poor girls parents may have not even known she did this! Brings back memories when I was her age and I had 3 older sisters who taught me how to do this. Was my mom shocked when the jewel-t man came to the door and I was running in cirlces giving him the finger! I and also my sisters were shocked when we got our arses beat after he left!! lol
Posted by Rebecca | December 9, 2007 9:48 AM
This is the funniest thing I have ever seen! ROFL!!!!!
Posted by Kim | December 9, 2007 7:46 AM
Good grief....lighten up people! LOL.
Posted by Deb | December 9, 2007 7:36 AM
You know someone in the family taught her that and told her it was something good or she would not be smiling so big. I feel bad for mom, santa and everyone who see's it. This pictures is by far the worst picture to have at this time of year for Jesus's birthday.
Posted by suremajic | December 9, 2007 4:20 AM
Someone obviously wasn't paying too much attention to the pic, that is a little girl. I seriously think you guys who think this isn't "innocent" need to rethink what innocence is. I am sure that the little girl doesn't really know at her age what that really means.
Posted by Anonymous | December 8, 2007 7:16 PM
PLEEEEEEZZZZZZZ!!!! What is wrong with your sense of humor?? Get one!!!!! This is hysterical!ROGLOL
This is not funny!! Santa isn't telling him which finger to use! Look at Santa's forehead; he is upset at the gesture. People have gotten so warped anymore. It is very upsetting to see the innocents of Christmas disrupted. Well, I don't approve but who am I...
Posted by s | December 8, 2007 8:50 AM
Do you see Santa whispering which finger to use?
"Very Funny",Santa!
Posted by Wendy | December 8, 2007 12:39 AM
A trip to see Santa - Exciting!
You finally get up there to sit on his lap,
there's nothing like using the situation to your best advantage - Priceless!
Posted by Linda Kipper | December 7, 2007 11:17 PM
That would make a great Christmas card. So funny!
Posted by Rachel Cranford | December 7, 2007 8:36 PM
This is just too funny. I didn't realize at first what was wrong. I bet she got coal in her stocking that year.
