Ellen, I was so excited when the season premiered in NY. I thought maybe you were switching locals for the season. I was so disappointed that you switched back to CA. Not that CA is bad. I just thought NY was a wonderful change and they set was really cool with the view. I was thinking it would be neat for you to change locals every couple of seasons.

Hi Ellen, Just letting you know that I try and watch your show everyday because you make me laugh and right now that is what I need. You see I am the oldest of ten and I recently lost my youngest brother. He has four children the oldest is 23,6,5,4. His death was fast and we had no time to say good-by or tell him how much I loved him. Life is hard especially now around the holidays. Michael the youngest went to see his father's grave site to take flowers and when it was time to go he said leave me here, because I want to be with my daddy. We all choked up and did not know what to say. It has been very hard but when I see your show I am able to laugh and remember that my brother would not want us to be this way. thank you and keep being Ellen.

Yeah Ellen! Do have Johnny Depp on your show. He's no. 1 on my list of favourites. I have been watching most of your shows but didnt find him in it.
Posted by Sam | December 7, 2007 6:02 PM
Ellen, I missed your first show this season with Hilary Clinton I think. The show moved to 2 pm and I set the tape for 11 so it didn't record you. Please could you tell me how I can see that show. I just can't bear to miss one second of your show. Now, I record it on several machines and bought a battery back up to cover loss of electricity because we lose power here often. There are 2 channels you are on and so I record both times because sometimes one channel has you preempted by some guy in DC named Bush who thinks what he has to say is more important than your show.

You know whuuut, ellen? Why not have Johnny Depp on your show? It'll be great!

Dear Ellen,
I have been a fan of your for years/ I watched your talkshow from its onset. When I was living in NJ I would watch you every morning on channel 4.
When I moved to North Carolina I began watching your show on WECT 6 every morning; then they moved you to 2 pm in the afternoon and I am rarely home at that time so I try to watch you when I can. I need your show to go back to the morning slot. I miss your making me laugh everyday and my grandbaby misses dancing with you/Sincerely Diane

Ellen, I think you are the greatest!! Your are a heart full of love and kindness, your a great inspiration for so many. You give of yourself so freeley. I feel so sorry about the dog, What can we do to help? We are animal people 11 cats, 2 dogs all from the rescued from cat network or the street. Wouldnot be without them. there the 4th loves of my life, Partner, grandchildren, daughters, animals, and you.Hope you get the dog back for your friends. love the show.
Posted by Betty | October 17, 2007 3:23 PM
Ellen, I'm so sorry and I pray they give the dog back. I can understand the papers b/c I work for a non-profit - but we would have sent someone out to fill out new paper work and did everything possilbe to keep the animal with a family - just new paper work and it is sad they didn't see the importance of that simple task. Not all Non-profits are so heartless.

Welcome back Ellen! I always anxiously await the beginning of your new seasons and #5 was outstanding. You are my relaxing time everyday, so I make sure my work is done so I can watch without interruption! I had an idea about a way you could do one of your shows. I hope you like it. When you have a famous guest star on, have him/her be interviewed as their role they play on television or in their movies. For example: Daniel Radcliff would come on your show as Harry Potter and be interviewed or Jim Belushi would be interviewed by you as him being "Jim". They would answer your questions as their characters instead of themselves! I think it would be very funny. Can you just picture interviewing Captain Jack Sparrow?? (aka;Johnny Depp) Just a thought. I love you and your show. Darlene

Ellen, you are an amazing person. It was my daughter that got me hooked on your show. You are so gentle and kind towards others and show your emotions. (I remember when little cutie Bindi was on and how you were so sweet with her.)I would love to come and see your show but being a school teacher, I doubt that I can come, so I will watch you on TV,here in Ontario, Canada.
Keep dancing and making us smile always.
PS I remember your monlogue on making decisons esp on the road coming to a red light!!!!

Ellen, I think you are outstanding. You are pure laughter and joy and happiness. Your outings among "the people" are hysterical wherever you decide to do them! I've been watching you since the 80's when you were doing standup. My favorite routine of yours may be when you compared hunting to taking a photograph of your mom. Keep on keeping on! We love you!!! Dear ellen~
You crack me up when you go out and do things to surprise people. Did anyone do anything you couldn't air? Hey, maybe you could have a blooper show from your shows..That would be interesting and I am sure very funny. This is your fifth season and you'll be 50. I read one of the comments someone posted suggesting you having a show with the audience all turning 50. I agree with her. That's a wonderful idea she had. Hey and you know what? I'd love to be there too, cause I am turning 50! Glad you are back. NY shows are great. Keep up the pilates you look great.
