While Ellen was in New York she had dinner at Nobu and ended up taking a bunch of pictures of her night out. She promised everybody that she would put the photos up on her website and here they are.
Ellen: Don't ever stop being you. You bring laughter to our days and make us smile. I know you've heard this a million times, but it's true. I'm working, so I tape your shows every day. Sometimes, I don't get to look at them for days, so to catch up I'll have an "Ellen day" and just veg out and watch the tapes all day long. What a hoot! One of these days I'm going to be in Calif and come to the show i person.

Ellen,
Please I AM VERY UPSET!!! Your show was overtaken by some tennis tournament here in Atlanta. Just because they had a rain delay they were allowed to step on your time slot. Your opening show for the season and I'll have to wait for the summer! ARGH! I think they should have to wait and play during or after the late news. I'm sure that more people regret missing you than those who watched tennis.
I'll try not to miss any more this season.
Thanks,
Lillie Nash

Hi Ellen, Boy do you always have somthing to put a smile on my face, although I had seen some of the photos, it were a joy to see you and to do the things you have done again. You make the tears come out of nowhere when I think I have no more you always prove me wrong. By the way I shared my new year with you and I also played poker too and boy did I really enjoyed winning, it made me feel real good since that is the only thing I have ever won in my entire life and as long as I have played I only lost one game and that is a blast. Ellen I hope you, your mother, family and staff have a wonderful full 2008; better than yester years than ever before. I hope to be apart of as the year ends again, that if GOD permits. I sends you all the best, love.....Ella Dove...01/01/2008..ps I hope you read my emails I sent you doing your 12 days give away...bye until tomorrow I'll see you ...OKAY

i remember when i use to work as a waiter at NOBU in 2000, you came in one night and sent back your bamboo carafe of sake because it wasnt cold enough
after that night, every time your name was on the VIP reservation list, we always had to make sure that there were several extra-cold bamboo carafes and cups in the freezer chilling and reserved just for you !
i even suggested a couple of years ago to name that new breed of monkey "nelle-ekas" which is "ellen-sake" spelled backwards ...
you are one of the nicest celebs that i have ever waited on - in the top of my list right next to renee zelleweger and hugh jackman

I can't believe how great you look in these pics. Don't get me wrong, but tv make up really pretty's up most people. I thought seeing candid pics you would look like the average person. Boy was I wrong and to think your going to be 50!!!!Your heart really shines through. I wish you great holiday cheer this season.

Ellen- Don't know if you have heard of this word, but today was the first I had. The word is "discombobulate". I know how you like words that are fun to say and I thought of you when I heard this one. It basically means you just don't have your wits about you. Anyway, thought you would like it.
