I lovvveee lovveee lovvve that you love animals like you do! It means so much to see that! and it made me soo happy that you had the guy saving the animals on the island!! That is soo horrible to abuses animals like that! It makes me cry!

Dear Ellen,

My name is Deborah Karp and I live in Anchorage, Alaska. I have to say that my children and I love your show. I had back surgery the day after Christmas last year and I watched your show every day and still do. As a result of trauma to my spine during surgery I developed Arachnoiditis, which is clumping of the nerve endings, creating alot of back, butt, and leg pain. Last year was pure hell for me and I am still in recovery. When you had your back problems and were filming in bed I must say that I was extremely jealous when you recovered as well as you did. I am still in pain every day, but on a much smaller scale. I would like to thank my children for taking such good care of me especially my daughter Mallory who is 12 years old. She sat with me EVERY day and waited on me and took good care of me. It would be great for her to get a phone call from you, but with the time difference I don't know how that would work. She gets home from school around 3:10 pm, leaves the house at 7:20 am for school Anchorage time. She was and is my little angel and I know she would totally be surprised if you could make this happen. Just to say hi and to have a good day. Something very simple. Your show has kept me laughing and is a big part of our day. Thanks for being who you are, open, honest, beautiful, and very, very funny.
