I hate to say this but when it came to hair & glasses the 70's was a bad time to be a kid. I had a really bad haircut when I was 10 & looked like a scrawny boy. I remember on a stop over on our way to California, I went to use the bathroom & a lady told me "Aren't you old enough to go to the men's bathroom by yourself?". I was mortified at having to tell her I was a girl. Till then the thought hadn't even crossed my mind that my very short hair made me look like nothing but a girl with short hair.

In responce to another one - I would have to believe that the photos were sent in by the actual person in the photo. If you look close the pics are all outdated. Obviously a parent and friend would not send in a pic of there child as an ugly kid.

Those children will or are very successful individuals. Everyone goes through their akward stage in life.

They all have such sweet smiles. The hairstyles are a little dated, but such sweet children.

I agree with you Brooke. People obviously have issues because no one can be as pretty as they are.

Obviously your parents never taught you manners nor the fact that beauty is to come within. I would hate to see your childrens outlook on life, especially if you are instilling your behaviors and attitude in them.
