I love that you give yourself permission to be the real you. I only wish your "try the truth" attitude would spread throughout the celebrity world. *sigh* First Brad Renfro and exactly a week later, Heathe Ledger. It' eerie how they were both found the same way...at home in bed, unresponsive. I'm glad Ellen paid tribute to Heath...i just wish she had mentioned Brad also. He was an exceptional young actor (and as Jennifer knows, from reading my facebook profile..) i am devasted by his death. He chose movies that didn't get much recognition, but he was brilliant nontheless. RIP Brad and Heath

I love love love this dress! gone with the wind is my most beloved book and movie! and I would love one of these dresses...hoop skirts are amazing and i wish they would come back into style...but not the corset...those i don't really think would be very pleasent at all, yet from the look on your face in this picture, you don't find the dress to be to pleasant either! haha!

Glad that despite not having an Ellen show to attend you made the most of your New York trip and managed to have fun. Little bit jealous really, love to visit America there are times living down-under has it drawbacks, traveling to USA is expensive and a very long flight. Did have a few days in San Francisco long time ago courtesy of the magazine I worked for. Have spent a couple of weeks on holiday in Australia which is only two hours flight from Auckland, NZ, that also is just a dim memory now. Life and work took a different turn and never got to travel again. Yet! Never say never. :-)

Well, New York was fun and very expensive (the cabs, the food...) Walked for miles and miles and miles. Saw where Ellen would have been (and me too) if the show hadn't been cancelled. Got me some winter "crocs" and a few X-mas gifts from the Disney store. Saw where Regis and Kelly tapes, walked through Central Park...that's about it. I have satellite T.V and i get TBS, but i guess it's the wrong TBS, 'cause it didn't air The REALLY BIG SHOW. Well, That's it for now...Happy Thanksgiving to my friends in America!

Well no offense Ellen but that blew harder than Monica Lewinsky.

You Canadians be glad you didn't watch it. I turned it off numerous times to watch something else. I am no longer a fan of Sheryl Crow. She turned into a female version of John Mellencamp with that song I also think she could've dressed a little better. She was dressed better at a concert I went to 4 months ago. Actually I think she was overdressed then and underdressed tonight.

Just ones opinion.

Steve I see why you feel the way you do. I would've been mad if I paid to see that show. There's a reason why the variety show went out. I mean if you're going to do one, leave out the very cheesy acts like the slinky lady( the hula hoop lady) , the juggling act, the unicycle, Barry Manilow, Wayne Newton, the horrible comedian guy, I can do better impressions than him, granted they will be cartoon characters but still.

If you are going to do a variety show this day and age, you have to do stuff that hasn't been done before, that's what Ed Sullivan and those guys did. They did stuff and had acts on that were never seen before. You also have to have acts that are not old enough to be the grandparents of some of the other acts.

This show was a complete miss in my book.

Sorry a tad bit angry right now. This is BS. I'm driving a 92 mercury grand marque that has over a 100,000 miles on it, the ceiling is falling on me, there's black stuff which I think is oil coming out of the tailpipe, three out of four windows won't stay up because they are broke I have duct tape on theme and not the gray stuff either no, I ran out of that stuff,I had to use to bright orange! and the light switch wires are melting again! No...i think yu can change the dates of your ticket (but i'd have to have a new date, which i don't) (and there is a fee...$100and up) but you can't change destinations. Besides, NY is only an hour's flight from here, LA AT LEAST six! Plus, you have to pay a fortune for a direct flight and with stopovers, sometimes it can be a 10 hr flight! I've e-mailed the EDS with my story and my disappointment...i'm sure nothing will come of it, but i feel better.

I dont' want to get into it. Too much bad blood towards the music industry there. Well, Parmount Publishing in Nashville anyway. So and sos! I'd like to ring the neck of .... sorry. I got talking to some people on a website for songwriters and it seems for some reason we all find Paramount in the beginning. I guess because it's a big name. I could have helped out LeAnn Rimes when she was trying to sue the head of her record label but I had no proof that I wrote the song. Anyway, said I wasn't getting into it.

I'd go to New York and yell at the writers on strike if I were you. I want to know why they are the only ones bitching about her doing the show. I don't get it.

Huh, forgot to change my alarm clock last night. Good thing my internal alarm is set for 7:30am otherwise I would have never made it to class. I need to go get a shower now. It's only about an hour's flight from where i live to New York, which is why i wanted to go so bad! I couldn't get a direct flight there though, so i have a stopover somewhere (philadelphia, i think). I leave here at 6:55am and get to New York at noon. My flight back is direct though. I was hoping even if she cancelled her shows, she would still go to New York and hang out and meet some fans, but according to the No way November calander, she seems to be taping in California. The 19th is her 700th show too....probably going to be giving away great stuff.

Sorry to hear that the NY shows have been cancelled, that is so disappointing for you. All that excitement then to have it all kicked out from underneath. How long a flight is it for you to get to NY. Feel for Ellen and the TEDS team too, I'm sure they feel for their writers/colleagues position but are also disappointed at having to let their fans down.

Wish that the parties concerned would just get back to negotiations. Going for a fair deal is important to the writers but can the income lost while on strike ever really be made up?

Huh, so much to say so little space. I think we all know what is going on here. I posted my opinions in various places. The last 30 seconds to air pic and the one video on the homepage. Watching "High Fidelity" right now. Good movie. Hey here's a thought, they run out of shows they can go back to showing movies again! I loved movie nights on tv. I taped most of them and watched them over and over again. I still have some of them but can't watch them seeing as I don't have a VCR. Just keeping them for reference for when I get rich so I know which DVD movies to buy.

Alright, I have homework this weekend and a bunch of stuff to do. I'd like to get it done before Monday night when Ellens TBS special airs. I don't have school Monday but I am going to stay up and watch it even though I have to get up early Tuesday morning. One needs to starting exercising again. One is getting bigger "beer belly". Made a dance mix CD today to play along with my DDR so I don't have to listen to the music it plays. It's stupid. I hope it works though. The last time I tried playing with the stupid thing the dance pad buttons were stuck and kept screwing me up. I started going by the time instead of the steps I hit. It doesn't work anymore. Piece of crap! I spent 60 bucks on that thing! Anyway, one is going to watch Las Vegas tonight and go to bed early to get up and exercise.

Sorry, I am unable to help with the verify address problem. I do not know why the "powers that be" will not let those countries that air The Show email etc. I'm intelligent enough to know that we cannot enter their competitions or ask for gifts all I want to be able to do is comment or participate in some of the "Part of the show" stuff i.e. send photographs. After all I can and have purchased stuff from the Ellen shop.

Must stop complaining at least we can post on the blog pages, most of the time.

I don't know how it all works either. It usually just goes straight to the page where it says "thanks for entering we now have your information and will contact you". Like they ever do! It went to that page after I verifed my e-mail though. I don't know. I guess I'll have to wait and see. Going to go check my "mail" in the containment site. Most of my junk mail goes there so I don't get a virus or too much junk in my mailbox. I guess it goes through some process and if I haven't given them my e-mail address or I don't have theirs in my address book it won't go to my inbox. Saves me time though! That way I can just hit select all and click delete!

Anyway, I got to thinking. My ex Scrappy doo rolled off my tongue with ease and Scrappy. Donald Duck I am having trouble with it, but I ain't changing it. I was thinking along the lines of "webby", "quacky", it has got to roll of the tongue, come to think of it, i don't know if ducks have tongues?

I hope Ellen makes sure the striking writers have got jobs to go back to, the last thing we want, is for the powers that be, thinking as the shows are being taped. Is why do we need writers? if the shows are going on. Do you know what I mean? The powers that be will be turning the heat up and turning the thumb screws. I wouldn't be surprised that Ellens bosses have waved her contract in front of her eyes for a reminder whats in it and the rest of her staff. Did you read about the suspension letters some studios are sending out? talk about emotional blackmail. What the powers that be, the reason for people to strike is the last resort. The governement over here would love it, if unions were no more. Unions are part of democracy.

Oh as I live over the pond, just read that the affect of the strike is affecting UK tv. Which is good news!!!

I hope Ellen makes sure the striking writers have got jobs to go back to, the last thing we want, is for the powers that be, thinking as the shows are being taped. I wouldn't be surprised that Ellens bosses have waved her contract in front of her eyes for a reminder whats in it and the rest of her staff. Did you read about the suspension letters some studios are sending out? talk about emotional blackmail. What the powers that be, the reason for people to strike is the last resort. The governement over here would love it, if unions were no more. Unions are part of democracy.

Oh as I live over the pond, just read that the affect of the strike is affecting UK tv. Which is good news!!!

That means only one day of re-runs! You may get to go to New York after all Tookus! I think that's how you spell that I don't know. I believe that is one they missed on the show. You know what I realized? Okay I'll tell ya. Ellen missed a day of work!!! She can't say " the show must go on" and gloat about being there even when she was drugged. I think she needed a day to prepare for her monologues. I'm sure she is writing them herself. I guess we'll see how good she is at them.

New Zealand I am only gloating because they apparently like me on here. I write and people pay attention. It's a wonderful world we live in.

Wondered why my blog page just hung left it and went and checked other pages. Just rechecked and found it HAD gone through. It was 8.25pm 7-11-07 here when I sent it.

Only my hands are seeing the sun, We had about three days last week and then weather packed up again with rain and wind, so cold and wet yesterday had to light the fire to warm the house and dry jacket and jeans, no shorts or sleeveless tops yet.

By the way, have a lovely duck pond on our property if you feel like taking flight. There are a couple raising their ducklings on it at the moment. Quack, Quacking at them.

Agree with writers, but a wee bit selfish and still want to see TEDS so hope, for the writers sakes as well, it does not go on too long. Unfortunately, strikes are not good for those involved and can cause some families a lot of hardship, with loss of income.

Can't wait for next weeks show! Keith Urban. I said it once and I'll say it again, I said that will the accent. Ha ha! Sad sad news this week. A guy I went to school with got killed and now Scrappy doo is leaving us. Well I did finish the song which I will post after this one. I thought I would address a few things here. Kim is out of the loop, Elizabeth has been MIA for a long time now, I have Alisons' e-mail and I am friends with Heather on Facebook so I guess there really is no more reason to be here. I guess this is my last post too. One will try to keep in touch on other pics and what not on here. One will go find Gerrie and chit chat when feel like talking to someone.( check out the lunch pics and 30 seconds to air to find out who Gerrie is) I guess this ride has finally come to an end. I'll have to end this the right way though.

Jennifer: i know i can't enter the contest for New York, i was just hoping that non new yorkers would be able to get tickets too, through normal channels. I didn't think her whole 2 shows were only for New Yorkers!

Okay here's a bunch of crap I missed.

No the writers strike won't affect the show. They do a bunch of tapping's in advance. It will affect the nighttime talk shows first. I don't know the exact order of things but I don't think it will affect the show. It is a good question though if anyone has an insight to this situation. I think a few posts have been deleted since Kim was banned for unknown reasons her posts have disappeared. One would still like to have an explanation on that one. I think they are trying to keep us from talking too much on here. I understand. That's why I took it down to 1 post per day. Except for now because I missed some stuff.

Heather, the New York shows the tickets are only available for New York, New Jersey, Connecticut,Pennsylvania, and I think that is it. Click on the thingy. I don't think they are paying for airfare so they want people to be able to drive to the show and it not be a huge inconvenience. Yes it sucks. I will have that week of school off too! One would find the way there. Even if one has to hitch hike! I know some people who know some people who know some people. Anyway, one thinks one has address all subjects for tonight. BYE!

Hallo! Wazzzzzz Up?! One is watching "Beetlejuice" and listening to music. Anyway, bad news today not going to get into it. It wasn't personal but someone I went to school with. Bad situation. Anyway, on a lighter note I think Ellen needs to take piano lessons and learn how to really play. I think it would help with the lyrics she makes up. It was a good show today all in all. Very funny song. I am still wondering what CVS stands for though. It's a pharmacy here in the U.S. for those of you who don't know. She mentioned today while she was there about what it stood for. What she said was NOT what it stands for. Got one wondering what it really does stand for. I have no clue. Okay enough rambling about that. Those kid inventors were cute! Especially those two twins who invented the wedgie proof underwear. Sooo cute. I think that one kid had a little too much candy for Halloween. He was acting weird. Anyway, good inventions and things that are useful. Can't wait for Tuesday when Keith Urban will be on the show! Yes I said his name with an Australian accent. I said it one day just messing around with a couple friends and now one can't say it without the accent. I think that's about it. Nothing special today.

Scrappy doo and Heather, I said I can't tell ya! I'm kiddin', I live across from the county airport runway. Not that fascinating to grow up down the road from an airport. The Don't drive downtown part is because we have a bunch of one-way streets that go in the wrong direction. You turn down one you will have to turn at the next one and could possibly end up going in circles for hours.

I thought that was the post I wrote, when we first came to this page? I find that a bit odd.

I was reading today about a possible Hollywood Writers strike. I wonder if that is going to affect the show. It said the late night daytime talk shows will be affected by it and others. However. If it does happen I am on the side of the writers. I am tired of the money grabbing tight fisted powers that be. There only intent is to line there own pockets. Matter of fact, I am tired of people that have too much money, doing and saying what they please and not giving a damn what comes out of there mouth because they have money. Everything boils down to money, money, money. Anyway..

I noticed Jennifer you mentioned Gettysburg, thats a place I always wanted to go to, if I had a chance to go to America and Chicago. The reason for Gettysburg is my interest in the American Civil War. I wouldn't touch LA, Hollywood with a barge pole.

Good luck Tushy in trying to get tickets for Ellens New York show.

Well, I am waiting for my washing to finish. Washing my backpack for the first time. I have put fabric conditioner in as well. So, when I go to work, my back will give off a wonderful scent. Hope it doesn't shrink!!

I keep checking if Mutts and Mums are back in business..I just feel they did not deserve all this, after reading the on-line emails now let loose on the internet. Ellen should really foster dogs not adopt them and that is only in her vacation time. I just hope she does'nt talk about it in a monolog that "she has a new dog" because the first thoughts I will have will be "oh, I wonder how long she will keep this one" It was amazing to see, read the powers at be, working on damage control. Anyway, the whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth, I know that. Lies, lies lies, cover-ups, passing the buck. All I will say now is don't mess with folks with money, its not worth it, because they are the folks that will kick you when your down, all for the love of money.

Yesterday's show was good! That game show...frickin' hysterical!!! I could watch that all day! I loved that Ellen was laughing so hard she was crying! The Tornado baby..very touching. But....what;s wrong with that guy??? 2 kids later and he finally proposes??? sheeesh. Anyways...still checking the "tickets" section...every day...3x a day and the days she is in new york are still blank.

halllooooooo! Coneys that still remain. I guess that would be Heather, Alison, Scrappy doo, and me! Enough cones to block a square sewer drain. Anyway, good show today. I think it was anyway. Alison you will get to see next week. I won't completely spill the bean on it but I will say this, Ellen in high heels= disaster! Not good. She almost fell what 3 times? That would be me. I do a big sole with a slight heel on that back but no spiked heels. One will fall on ones buttocks, butt, tushy, tookus, ascott, junk in trunk, money maker, etc. That girl that was on with her baby that survived that tornado, her name sounds familiar. One will have to look up story to see where exactly she is from. Anyway, I have no idea who sings the song she danced to today but luckily I have the ability to look it up if need be. Stupid news break! That's the only problem with the channel I watch the show on. At least this time it didn't keep going across the bottom of the screen. It gets annoying after a while. Especially when they talk about what it is during the commercial breaks. Okay I get it! Ones stereo is broken so one has crappy sound now. My TV is messed up. You put the sound up too high it starts to static. It has 4 different sound settings and they all sound like crap. The channel I have on now it doesn't sound that bad. I don't know. Maybe I need to change channels to watch the show. Anyway, enough about me. How ya'll doin'? I hope no one asnwers that in the next few minutes. That would be creepy!

Oh hey Ellen! If you get that game show started I'll be the host. Just call me. I'm home a lot. Probably not a good thing to say. I could use a break from school right now. It looks like a fun show. Anyway, wondering when Portia is going to be on Nip/Tuck. She's on this season but I have no idea when. One would like to know. Hint hint. You know, if Ellen could drop us a line or 2 when she is going to be on it would be great. I wonder if it changed it's ranking on the scariest placest list. I haven't seen that this year. It seems to not be on tonight. How can it be Halloween and no scariest places countdown? I don't know about the html thing. I tried posting a smiley and it didn't work. I don't get that whole thing. I think it got disabled. They realized it would be a waste of a comment to do that. Also you get people posting for their own websites and trying to sell stuff too. Good way of weeding those people out.

We turn our clocks back this weekend which means when I leave from now on to go to my 8 o'clock class it will pitch dark out. YEAH!!!!! NOT. There is something wierd going on with my computer. I better cut this short.

Well, it is Halloween tomorrow, hope I don't get a fright while walking to my bus. Last year, I turned a corner and there was this huge dragon, two folks inside of it. So, I had a wee jump to myself.

I know how you feel alison! I'm in Canada. I was excited beyond belief when i found out her birthday bash contest was open to Canadian residents too, until i tried to enter and found out the only province NOT eligable is Quebec. (which is, of course, where i live). ***pouting*** I'm still checking the calendar for tickets every day to try and request tickets for New York in November. At least New York is only an hours flight from here.

Okay the Days of Our Lives thing, I grew up watching this show. I know the story lines before they start and what is going to happen before it happens. I only have one question about it, WHY do I have to submit a picture to tell them that?! Moving on. The Thanksgiving in New York. Only New York, new Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania are allowed to enter. I'm guessing they are not paying for airfare this time. Ohio should be included. I would find a way there. Moving on again. Happy Birthday to You!! Okay why did they have to start this thing now? Why couldn't they start that say, before the beginning of October when my birthday was?! I get left out of everything. My birthday falls on the same day as Tim McGraw and Faith Hills' anniversary and I get no recognition for that either. What the heck is the deal? I get jipped on my birthday every year. One was also going to ask about the newsletter but one finally got theirs this morning.

Happy Monday boys and girls. (well, just girls i guess..) Jennifer, ever get the feeling you're just talking to yourself? where is everybody??? Anyways, i'm glad it's Monday, hopefuly i don't have to work today (unless they call me in). I worked all week-end and i'm ttired! (and stuttering apparently..)Took two of my clients to see "Across the Universe" yesterday...that's 2 and a half hours of my life i'll never get back!! It started off a bit slow, then it got better and i thought "i'm going to love this movie"...then it just went on and on and on and i couldn't wait for it to end (plus i had to pee really bad!) I'd read so many reviews on our local theater's web-site and 98% of the people said it was the best movie that they've ever seen EVER. I was expecting great things! I guess these people haven't seen many movies...IMHO, the best war "musical" was HAIR and the best war movie, "Platoon". This movie didn't even come close. And it was WAY TOO LONG!!!!! (did i mention that?) :) Anybody else see it? What did you think?

About Ellen and Portia...only time will tell i guess. I really don't think Ellen would be carrying on so happpily with her show etc...if the rumours were true. Portia seems to be her soulmate and i think she would be devastated if they had broken up!

Hallooooooo!!!!! Coney heads! WAzzzzzzzzzz up? One got up today and washed ones clothes and then brother made all hell break loose. Long story short we are cleaning out the garage and getting rid of stuff and grandma is not a happy camper because we are getting rid of "her stuff". Non of the stuff is hers its stuff from me, my brother, and my uncles from when they were younger. It's stuff non of us want. How exactly is that stuff hers? Exactly. Anyway, one got mad and turned on stereo and now stereo is broke. Won't come on. One thinks one blew the amp. One is waiting on Sony tech support to e-mail back. I think I only got a 3 year warranty. It's been 4. Anyway, have been watching "casper" and "Matilda" today. Good shows. 13 nights of Halloween on ABC family. Been watching for 2 days straight. I don't' think I have but 2 channels although I'm sure there has to be more. I'll have to explore the possibility after Halloween.

I would also like address this whole splitting up think with her and Portia. Okay, when you read something that is NOT on Entertainment Tonight or Access Hollywood DON'T BELIEVE IT. It's crap! They are just trying to kick her while she is down. They are trying to ride the coattails of this whole Doggy Debacle. If they can spin a story from another TRUE story they will do it. They are just trying to sucker people. One website even said that she was crying mostly over Portia leaving her than the dog. Okay, then why was Portia shown on the show the other day? I think it was Thursday when she mentioned going to San Diego to do the show and they cut to a shot of Mary acting like she was talking on the phone. Portia was sitting behind her in her usual spot. Hmmm.. someone didn't think before they wrote that did they?
Anyway, I chatted enough. One has PowerPoint presentation tomorrow and hasn't practiced yet. Just in ones head. I don't know if I can use my USB drive or if I need a disc. I have one just in case. probably will need that. I don't know how this whole thing works. I never did one. Well got the belt changed on the car but the outside groove tore off just like the other belt. One is making a phone call to Advance Autoparts tomorrow. I'm starting to think it is suppose to do that. Weird. Anyway, insurance company coming Monday if not Tuesday to look at the car. My cousin talked to a mechanic and they said I probably broke a brake line when I slammed the brakes on. I think they are right. I tried pushing on the brakes and had no brake pressure.
Watching Ohio State football game right now. We are winning but playing like crap right now. Not good. Anyway, someone keeps stealing the signs out of the neighbors yard. I'm starting to think they are messing with the guy that is running for school board. It just seems to be the signs in his yard. One of the signs is laying in front of my garage. Someone took a sign with one of the guys who is running for township trustee and spray painted the other guys name on the back of it. I forgot to give it to the guy when he stopped the other day. I'm voting for the other guy. The one whos name is spray painted on his sign. We have a sign in our yard for him. The guys I'm voting for just put one in the other neighbors yard and nothing has happened to it yet. Hmmmm wonder why. Anyway, using powerpoint for my next public speaking speech. I've never used that before it will be an experience. Gotta go we just scored!!!! BYE!!!

Headless chicken is an understatement. The car still needs the belt changed and could use a lube job and probably a transmission fluid change. That will have to wait a while though. Maybe next month or something. It's not completely black so it'll be okay. As long as I keep an eye on the oil. It's burning oil like it's a jug of water on a 100 degree day. 2 quarts low yesterday. I hope that's the extent of it though. I can't take much more with this car. Still waiting on the other girls insurance to call me. I want to know what is going on. The insurance adjusters showed up while I was gone this week. I can't drive it anywhere to get an estimate. I moved it yesterday to jump start the other car and the brake light stayed on after I started it. I had to push the pedal to the metal to stop. I think I did something when I slammed on them when I stopped before she hit me. Another problem to deal with. Anyway, almost 10am going with grandma and cousins to get her blood work done and my cousins. We are going to go eat breakfast after. Actually I think by the time we get going it will be noon and time for lunch. Oh well. Where we are going they serve breakfast all day. Anyway, gotta go!

Noticed your response to the pumpkin post..I wrote about the pumpkins, because they taped the Halloween Show yesturday. And through the webcam I saw loads of pumpkins on the stage.

Got my outline done but don't know if I want to e-mail it to my professor or drive over there. The last time I e-mailed something he said he didn't get it and I had to send it again. The car, I don't know if I want to drive over there or not. I don't have very good luck if you can't tell. If I do I better get going he is only there until 10.30 am. I might just e-mail it and then if I need to go over later I will. He has office hours later today. Anyway, OH! Forgot to tell you guys, you know those stress balls that they have? those squishy things? Anyway, the one company at OTEC had an orange oil barrel one! I walked around the corner of their booth and the next booth had the orange traffic barrels!! Yes we picked them up! Even had the big orange mascot guy in the foam suit! It was funny! We kept daring people to go push it over!!!! Of course no one would do. It would have been very funny. Anyway, gotta get the public speaking outline sent to professor. Will type ya lata!

I tried to enter the contest but of course, the only place NOT allowed to enter in all of Canada and the U.S is Quebec. WHY???????? Anyways, i plan on e-mailing to ask.

We have rescue agencies here where you just fill out a questionaire and of course have an interview and home inspection to be a foster person. One shelter rescues dogs, mostly from the pound, a lot from puppy mills and finds foster homes for them until they can be adopted. You don't need a liscence to be a foster home. The problem with this whole Ellen debacle is that she is ADOPTING dogs, i'm sure with the good intention of keeping them, but, with the exception of Wolf, always ends up giving them up. I think she just has poor impulse control. If i didn't have better control and realistic views, i would have a house full of puppies! Anyways, yes, she should just be a foster mom and stop telling these agencies she is adopting, in it for the long haul. These poor dogs have been through enough! She had Pig for quite a while too!

Anyways, enough about that. I just remembered my dream last night....Ellen was here and she was taking me back to California with her....my dog was at the vet and i was crying hysterically because i didn't want to leave her. I kept saying "i can't live without my dog!" She kept making phone calls to get my dog flown to California...Arnold Shwartzeneger (i know, i butchered that spelling!) was there too and i was pleading with him to do something because he was governor of California! Anyways, it was much more involved, but i won't bore you anymore!

Hallllo!!!!! There Coneyheads! IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII'M baaaaaaaaaaack!!!! Had fun. Here's the short version.
Made some connections talked with some cool people heard some good speeches and attended some good conferences. Went to a bar, did a lot of walking, got some goodies, played cornhole, walked a lot, etc.

I ended up rooming with smokey smokerson. I don't know the deal with her not having a room or what not but I ended up in the car on the way down with her and rooming with her. Went to a couple of the parties the companies had and played cornhole at the one at the hotel. That was fun. Had a beer at the bar we went to. Needless to say the bartender about got my beer thrown on her. She asked for my ID which made me mad and then her and the other lady who was bartending looked at me like " good job on the fake I.D." when she handed it back to me. I'm like " I'm 23 B with a big ITCH! Anyway, need to get an outline done for my public speaking class. Watching todays show. I think I got through most of yesterdays show before I had to shut it off to record todays. Anyway, got some work to do. BYE!

Hallo fellow Coneheads! One is getting ready for big day tomorrow. One needs to get up at 5am. Okay 5:15 a.m. I need to sleep as much as possible. I'm sure some of us will be sleeping on the way there. Anywhos one has a room to oneself so I might take homework with me. Of course I won't be able to actually do anything because I don't have homework from 2 classes last week and this week I had an exam and then Thurday that class I have a lab early in the morning. My other class public speaking, I need to do some research for. I'm making the argument that we are not speeding up the global warming process. That sounds hard. I might just go rent "An Inconvient Truth" and play part of the video. Sounds easier. I don't know. I told my professor I was arguing against it. I need to do some serious research. Sorry I've been out of touch... things have been just crazy 'round here the past couple of weeks and I just simply haven't had time to check in. So what have I missed?? I read all about and watched some videos on the whole Iggy thingy... my goodness what a drama! I really think it a shame that the whole affair became public... I mean, I don't know what all you guys think, but I think that Ellen should have kept it a private affair... look at all the crap going on because she made it public... people across the nation arguing... and worse still... making death threats! Come on people... settle down. There are a lot more important issues to get this uptight about.

Yeah Heather, I agree, I think Ellen's rather unstable and even irrational dog adoption record doesn't make her look good. She needs to perhaps slow down just a little and think things through a bit more before she launches into adopting another dog... which going by her past record, she is likely to do again... although with all the drama she's had with this last one I think she may be scared off adopting for good!

I forgot about Lucy!!! She was cute. What kind of dog was she again? He he! I know I don't understand it either. I had one dog from the time I was three til she died when I was 16. I don't understand what she is doing here. It sounds like to me that she doesn't want a puppy she wants a dog that's been around the block a few times and just lays around. It's like she is an in between place for adopted dogs. Like a foster doggy home or something. I think she just needs to get a license and start a doggy adoption ring.

You know now that I think about it she had a dog I can't think of it's name right now but she dedicated one of her shows to the dog. Maybe she doesn't want to get too attached. Maybe that's the problem?

Yeah Portia is going to be on the season premiere of Nip/Tuck. That's why the interview. Wonder if she will bring up the Iggy situation. Doubtful. Well if it's Entertainment Tonight THEY will bring it up. Anyway, I have Facebook. One will look another up. My sick niece is here but I won't be here for most of the morning and afternoon. Jennifer, it looks like it's just you and me! So what do you want to talk about? :) Damn it, i thought my cold was over and now i'm sneezing my brains out again. Another hot day here.. I'm so tired of being hot!!!!! I had a total hysterectomy at 38 because of endometriosis so i've been in menopause since then...10 years of hot flashes and night sweats (i don't take hormones..) coupled with this stinking heat...makes me VERY cranky!!!!!! I don't mind snow, there's nothing better than watching my dog play in the snow. She is the one great joy in my life.

About Ellen....i'm pretty sure she doesn't have Blanche or Pig anymore. She also gave away the first dog she adopted (remember Lucy?) She had viewers pick a name and everything, then she stopped talking about her. She finally admitted Lucy was too hyper and she gave her away to somebody who lived on a farm. I still love Ellen, i just don't understand this adopting dogs then giving them away because they are too "rambuncious" or whatever. I was in love with my dog the first 5 minutes after i adopted her and would not give her up for ANYTHING! She ate everything, (including the cat litter) and was quite the handful, but it was our fault, we didn't "dog proof" the house before we brought her home. We worked hard on training and now she is the perfect dog!

Anyways....Ellen is planning on having a "promote dog adoption" show on Tuesday...i just think it might be a bit hypocritical, considering her adopting and giving away history. i think the only dog she's kept is wolf. One of the entertainment shows is interviewing Portia tonight.

The weather has been the same here Heather. It's crazy!!! It's October! Not that I like the snow but give me a break here. If I wanted to live in Florida I would move there. Of course the weather here has always been crazy. It's Ohio. It's normal to wear shorts and then a winter coat the next day. Did that back in May. Yes it snowed in May. April too.
She avoided the Johnny the DJ question too. I guess something bad happened there. Gladys I don't know about. I was hoping she would call about this whole Iggy debacle. Alison said something about her not mentioning Pig and Blanche too. Maybe they like Portia better. Or someone forgot to mention them when they typed up the newsletter. I do find it odd that she never mentioned when she got Iggy. She mentioned the others when she got them. I don't know maybe she wanted to see if it was going to work before she told she had another dog. Who knows but her. Anyway just e-mailed Martine to see why she hasn't posted in a while. Yes Jennifer, i'm still here! Been a little under the weather, probably because the weather here has been so insane! One day we're in our winter coats, the next day i had to dig my shorts out from storage it was so freaking hot. My doggy and i do not like the heat and wish fall/winter would come and stay already!!!! I would like to post me e-mail addy here so that if we can't post here anymore we could still keep in touch, but i'm a bit nervous about doing that, seeing all the nutters that are out there! Any suggestions? According to Ellen's weekly newsletter she seems to have goten rid of her dog Pig too...she only mentions Wolf and her cats. I wonder what happened to Pig????? And speaking of dissapearences, WHERE THE HECK IS GLADYS?????? That is what's bothering me the most of all, that she's just ignoring the whole issue of Gladys. Is anyone else having trouble with the website? Video clips not playing right through sound keeps going but video picture stops or the whole video just stops. Video gallery page click on any of the subjects i.e. ellen in a minute, vlogs just flickers but nothing happens. Did they have a show on Fri 19 Oct. monologue will not play.

Sorry about the Rugby World Cup loss. Glad to hear you are going to be able to watch Season V. It is shown here in NZ a week after USA. iIt is a public holiday here tomorrow Monday Oct 22 Labour Day so there is no Ellen, I don't know why the pull it on public holidays, but there you are, they do and show that particular episode at a later date, usually at the end of the season.

I forgot to mention this. I was looking through my tv channels for next week, ref: The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Guess what? If memory serves me right, wasnt Hilary Clinton Ellens first guest for Season V? It looks like I will able to watch Season V afterall, the FiveLife channel must have got the rights for it somehow, which is good news. I remember getting an email from them yonks ago and they mentioned that they did not hold the rights to Season V. They must have changed there tune!!!

The UK is going to be well behind. I will have to set my record buttons.

Oh I'm just fine and dandy Heather. I had a car wreck this morning leaving school. I dont' want to get into it right now but I'm about the scream. I drove the car home. It's drivable. I think. I had to take my grandma to one of her friends house. Her and a bunch of her friends get together once a month that graduated together, anyway on the way home I heard something pop. I pulled in the driveway went to open the back door and saw the rear brake was flaming. I ran around the back of the house to grab the hose and started unwinding it from the hose thing and found part of the hose was wedge between the hose and the part it is on and had to run around the front of the house, unlock the front door, go in and get a bucket of water. I ran out and put the flames out. I had to go get the hose unwound so I could cool it off. I got it cooled down but by the time I got done my chest felt like it was going to explode. I got a major adrenaline rush when I took off around the back of the house and the stress of earlier just made it worse. I had to sit down for about 30 minutes to calm down. Then my soon to be ex-sister-in law called my brother saying a whole bunch of stuff I dont' want to get into ( she goes to the same college) and I just exploded. I slammed the door and lost it again. I had to chill out for another 20 minutes. So needless to say I am very stressed right now.

Hi all! Have not posted in a while and just wanted to see how everyone is doing. All is well here except for the horrible drought situation. We may really be limited to 2 minute showers if it does not rain soon. Our local lakes (and main source of water here) are dropping at the rate of 1 foot per week. I guess they will start placing armed guards at our water fountains at work next. I am kidding but it is beginning to scare us. Everyone pray for rain for us Southerners will you?\\nHas anyone seen the show today? Is she feeling better after the puppy debacle? Well, last night was interesting. If you wish to know the whole 9 yards check out the 30 seconds to Air picture of her tying her shoe. I was involved in a moral dilemma about Iggy. Anyway, I was kicked off of my college campus today because of a bomb threat and a shots were heard. I found out after I left what was going on. Nice to know after sitting in the parking lot for 20 minutes trying to leave. I don't know what is going on with this world. This is the third time since I've been going there that this has happened. Nothing was found the other 2 times I doubt anything will be today. Probably someone made at their professor or wanting to get out of a test or something. Crazy. Oh today in class this one girl made these brownies, yuuuummmmmmyyyyyy. I don't want to know how many calories were in those. They were your basic brownies on steriods. Regular brownies on the bottom, then cream cheese mixed with a POUND of powdered sugar, then on top of that, rice crispies mixed with melted chocolate and peanut butter. Like I said, basic brownies on steriods. I don't want to know how many calories were in that. I could give you the entire recipe but you might have a sugar fit or something before you get done reading it. They were good though. Enough sugar to put a diabetic in a sugar coma. Well that's today!

Well, the coffee machine takes about 5 seconds to make a cup of coffee. I got some good news yesterday but wasn't for sure so I'll tell ya'll about it now. I'm going to Columbus next week. I'll be there all day Tuesday and most of Wednesday. It's for OTEC( Ohio Transportation Engineering Conference). We leave at like 6 am Tuesday morning. Not all the details are worked out yet. Me and 4 others got sponsored to go. I hope I don't have to dress up. I probably will have to. I have one outfit and can probably manage a semi- formal second. May have to hit the mall between now and then. Anyway listening to music and arguing with people. Don't want to get into it. Hey Alison did you see the Ad to the right just above the General Mills thing on here? Speak of the devil. It says on the FXnetwork website that the show airs at 10pm but that is also when Dirt airs. I don't which is which. I think Dirt is at 11pm. I'll try to catch the premiere though. Don't want to miss that! Anyway nothing else going on here. I made a remix of "Rythym Nation" and burned it to a CD and can't get it to play without stopping in the middle of it at least 3 times. No I'm not a DJ I just did it for fun. Not going to sell it. Too much Piracy stuff to deal with in that. It sounds pretty cool. Ask Kim. At least when it doesn't pause in the middle. Anyway I think I'm rambling now. Better go.

That is mostly what one is listening to. One suggest checking out group ROCKAPELLA. Dey good. There's a bunch of videos on youtube. There's one where they sing the theme song from "Where in the world is Carmen San Diego" and Jeff Thatcher does an awesome vocal percussion on it. That means he does the drum stuff with his voice. One used to be able to do that but one has lost the ability. One has been trying to do it for 3 days now. One is not successful. One tried to straighten up garage up plan to move stuff a certain way and move to certain spots not successful. One will have to devise a new plan. Hmmmmm........

I was being funny about that. But if she wants to be serious about it I am about a week ahead at school with homework. I can get farther ahead if necessary. Depends on when the party is. I'm guessing its a Holloween party. I don't know where my hockey mask is but I'm sure I can find it. I'll go as Jason from Friday the 13th. I was him for like 3 or 4 years in a row before I quit dressing up. Actually I think the last time I dressed up I was cowgirl. The cowboy hat is a little small though. Don't have boots that fit either. One will have to wear work boots. Could always go get a hard hat and one of those orange vest and become a construction worker. Ha ha!!! Then people really would pay attention to me directing traffic! One would also need one of those signs that says STOP on one side and YIELD on the other side. Yes one would mess with people and keep flipping the sign back and forth. Ha ha ha!!!!

What a beautiful day it has been, my flatmate is choked with the cold and there is this huge spider called charlott right in the middle of her web. She has been there all week. Her web is the best web I have seen for a spider. My flatmate named her Charlotte. He adores spiders, I think I might buy him a spider for his christmas. Actually, Halloween might have spiders, good thinking batwoman!!

I've been recovering from massive amounts of Turkey! I, of course had to host Thanksgiving...Since my Mom passed away, somehow, I got elected to host all the holidays! There was, me, my boyfriend, his mother, his sister,his daughter, my sister, her husband her ex-husband (don't ask) my niece and nephew my dog, 2 cats and my sister's dog. My house is small and it was exhausting!!! Monday was my only day off this weeek and i worked my @ss off!! Anyways....next is Christmas. I think i'll leave town. oh and to top it all off, (Jennifer, you will appreciate this) i woke up yesterday morning and i couldn't move my neck. This morning the pain is going down my back...Jennifer, if you find somthing that helps, let me know! i could use some of Ellen's painkillers, Tylenol is just not doin it! Anyways, sorry for the "woe is me" post...hope everyone has a great day!

From what I gather from the blogs Kelly G is someone who wants to lift Ellen, apparently there is something about it on YouTube.

Ellen needs to take care with that back injury. I was surprised to see her doing those exercises and pilates on her vlog over the summer break, back injuries can take a long time to heal. I'm doing pilates, all was okay after 30min private lessons but I knew I had unused muscles when I did my first 45 minute mat class— doing the sort of exercises that Ellen did on her vlog, not getting so sore now. Guess it will get easier.

Okay so one forgot to switch alarms the other night and woke up 20 minutes before class yesterday morning. Good thing I live 8 minutes away. My brothers motorcycle woke me up. Anyway, I have no idea what he talked about either. I already did the homework so I'm good on that. Demo speech today!!!! AHHHHH! I think I'll do okay though. As long as ones laptop doesn't decide to overheat and shut off in the middle of something. Knowing ones luck it will happen. Why does one keep doing that? The talking in third person thing. Scrappy I didn't go get drunk. Sorry. One does not partake in that kind of action. Anymore. Don't feel any different than the day before. Just got this neck thing that I wish would work itself out already. It's getting annoying. You know that rod Ellen was talking about on Letterman? the one that feels like it's in her neck? I'm getting familiar with that feeling. My neck snapped about 10 times about a week ago and now it feels a little less stiff it's just sore. My "rod" is actually at the base of my skull going down my neck a ways. Scary. Think I did get a bit of whiplash. Almost 3 years and it's just now working itself loose.

Yes Alison it was the right number of cones. Didn't realize you did that until I just read that and checked the picture. Would've never caught that. For Ellens birthday you should send it to her. Of course change it to Happy Birthday Ellen.

One has been busy doing homework. Okay I've been playing around with Audacity making remixes of songs. It is part of my Public Speaking demo Wednesday. So in reality it is homework. I need stuff for examples. I think just for fun I might make Justin Timberlake sound like a chipmunk!! HE he! Can't stand to listen to an entire song of his. Anyway, one has to get to bed. One has to get up at 6 am. BYE! Nighty night! Or good morning. Whichever part of the world another is from.

Still have one drawer to fix in the kitchen but shouldn't take too much time. That has to get done this weekend it's sitting on the floor out there. Homework to do too. What are those teachers thinking? My birthday is today! I can't be seen doing homework on party day!

Hi Alison,

Your farm sounds nice and conveniently close to a major city! Our farm is about 3 1/2 hours north-west of Brisbane. We have about 500 acres... which by local standards is small! The land is what they call semi-arid... not high annual rainfall... so you need a fair bit of land to run enough cattle to be commercially viable. We have about 70 head of cattle Droughtmaster/Hereford cross at the moment (I think) but we do not really run the property commercially. I mean, it is not our main source of income... we also run an electronics business which is our primary work. To really make any money out of the cattle here you need at least 5000 acres of reasonably good land in the area.

Hi Dory — Only have a small farmlet (13 acres or 4.7??hectares, bigger than what we in NZ call a lifestyle block (about 2 acres). Run beef cattle, (normally Fresian/Angus cross, I like the Murray Grey breed but there are not that many available, had some pure Angus breed that came off an island, to saleyards, to here, I think the only time they had seen humans was when they were mustered, on arrival went through all the wire fences, luckily they didn't break any and ran around the entire property, by the time they were sold they had become well-behaved fellows, who came when called.) now buy hand reared weaner calves and sell as two-year olds, usually steers but at the moment have heifers, never again, they are so skittish. Then, of course, there is my Welsh pony, three dogs, chickens, pheasants, wild ducks on the dam, fresh air and the neighbours that are not too close. Not a bad lifestyle really. Only about thirty minutes from Auckland. Guess your property is large.

We are having changing weather here, rain one day, fine the next, unfortunately, it always seem to rain the day you need it fine.

No I was joking. They are wanting people to take shorter showers though. The guy that did the report down there was standing in the middle of a lake and was only about knee deep in water. They said it is down about 20 feet or so. You could see the mark on the post where the water level was. Scary. I say we pump water out of the ocean. I mean with this whole "global warming" deal. They keep saying the oceans are rising rapidly so let's pump the water from the oceans. I mean most of the cities put chemicals in and filter out rain water as it is they might as well use the ocean. That would keep the water level from rising too much. They said at some point thousands of years from now we will be drowning. I don't really care. I won't be here.
Anyway, I sent both remixes I did. I doubt they get picked. Did anyone notice that the thing for it says:" Change the words and lyrics" ? I e-mailed them about it. Someone is either stupid or doesn't know what they are doing.

I thought about changing it using 50 Cent and Justin Timberlake. The song "She wants it" I thought it could go something like this:

Thought it would be kind of funny. Then mix teh music from "sexyback" and the music from something else. I think i might speed up the music from the game Super Mario Bros. It's on one of the remixes I did. It sounds pretty cool. I mean Pink did it on her one song for "Charlies Angels: Full Throttle" I think it would sound pretty cool. Anyway bunches of stuff to do this weekend. Trying to fix the stupid kitchen drawers but can only find plastic parts. They keep breaking on me. I even emptied most the stuff from the drawers. I would use the side mounted things that you screw the drawer to the slide part but it won't work because I have no wall to screw it to. I have to use those stupid things with the rollers on them. Uh, anyway need to get busy working. BYE!

Guess what happened at the bus stop? Well, There was this drunk propping up the bus shelter, then at one point he sat down, but missed the seat. I helped him back onto the seat, while I waited for my bus. Anyway, the bus arrived and I said to him, the bus is here, he just mumbled something, he followed me on it and held out his hand for the bus driver to take his money, he was too drunk to count. Half way throught the journey, he conked out, fast asleep. I got off at my bus stop but he was still on it. But, the last stop for the bus was not that far away.

And then I got thinking..I wonder if he really wanted to get on the bus!! he might have just been resting at the bus stop, he could hardly walk. He is going to get a shock when he wakes up!! I thought I was doing a good turn, but it might not have been a good turn after all.

Anyway Alison is up to no good again. She asked for a picture and said it was urgent. I don't what the heck she is doing. She ain't gettin' it until later tonight because she messaged me at 3am my time and needless to say one is not up at that hour unless drunken night preceeded. Hey, me birthday is tomorrow, maybe shes'.... I don't think so. Anyway, who knows what that Kim is doing. She such a drunken teacher down there. I know she be stinkin' cause they ain't allowed to take but a 2 minute shower. The lakes around Atlanta are very very low right now. I know because I saw it on Fox News the other day. I was sitting in the stupid waiting room. Should've asked for the remote. I know the receptionist. Anyway, it's 8:43 in the morning and I have no clue what I am saying. BYE.

Hey Scrappy!... all rain graciously accepted! Winter is over here (thank goodness... was getting a wee tired of the cold)... and summer is on the way! I love the summer... lots of going to the beach... and of course, we do have the best beaches in the world here in Australia! haha! Well, I suppose I am just a little bit biased, but it is true... it is hard to find better beaches than here.

The public speaking speech went okay I guess. The only thing that he really mentioned was be tapping my knuckles on the desk. I couldnt' think of what I wanted to say. I said UM 3 times which is good. You're not suppose to say it all and for my first speech I think that was pretty good. There were a few things that I left out like I didn't explain the baseball but I think everyone could infer that one. It wasn't actually the one I hit the kid in the head with but they don't need to know that. We'll keep that between us. They also wouldnt' let me apologize to the kid. I was shy back then so me asking to do that was a big thing for me. Oh well, next speech I have to explain how to do something or a demostration. I don't know what I am going to do. He said Monday we are going to do a practice run. Whatever that means. Anyway I am seriously thinking about the sweeper thing. We have a thousand dollar sweeper. Yeah I wondered why someone would pay that much for a sweeper too, well, my brother used to sell them and when he did the demostration with it I found out. He ran our ordinary sweeper over the same spot about 20 times then used the Rainbow sweeper and picked up a bunch of crap off the carpet and down in it. I was amazed. I might do that. I have the books to it and I remember the main demo part of it. Something easy to do. I've been busy since last night doing remixes of Ellens' Emmy song. I have 2 right now but I don't know if I can send them seeing as I used the music and the beats from a few popular songs that are out right now. There's no words on the second one except her singing. I might try that one. Stryker will probably end up making the remix that she likes. Watch, this whole thing will be fixed.

Will be spending this weekend cleaning out the other side of the garage. I sat out in the driveway for 15 minutes and I still had frost on my windows. The stupid defrost takes forever! I finally got tired of waiting and was going to be late to class so I wiped off the windows with my hand. That car has got to be put in the garage this winter. My brother has his motorcycle on the side I put the car so I'm gonna have to clean up the other side so he can put his bike in there. Brothers, pain in the butts!
Missed the first 15 minutes of the show today because I was messing with the emmy song. I'll catch the monolgue on here but someone will have to fill me in on the rest. I know she sat down and talked with Stryker about something. Probably Britney. Dr.Phil today was all about her. I don't see how he can sit there and explain what she needs to do with her life when he doesn't know exactly what is going on with her. I know the girl needs to get things straightened out but she needs to realize that on her own otherwise she will never get things straight. Just ones opinion. Scrappy: Sorry about your mom. It is so hard to lose one's "mommy". It's been almost 3 years for me and i still get moments of extreme depression because i miss her so much! Everytime i drive near where she lived, my dog gets all excited. She misses her "nanny" too!

Hi Alison... how ya doin? We are up in Queensland at our farm at the moment... while our son is on school holidays... just enjoying the country life! We've had a bit of good rain just right at the beginning of Spring, but still need a lot more. The cattle would enjoy some nice fresh green pickings I'm sure! Despite the lack of rain though it is still just sooooooo lovely to be here. How are things going on your farm?... I don't think I have even asked you yet what you do on your farm!! What do you do?

Don't' get me started on the weather here. It's starting to scare me. It's October and it's still in the 80s. Not good. That means when we get a cold snap everybody is going to be freezing and complaining of it being cold. Because it will be. Likely to hit freezing levels. Not good on the crops or the flower beds. Oh well, crap happens.

I thought I was still on my Yahoo page when I came here last night. I have my Yahoo homepage pink for Breast cancer awareness. I know a few who have had breast cancer but yeah I'm with you Heather I wish they would pay attention to all the other types of Cancer just as much. After all THERE are 12 months in a year. We have a few months to spare.

I did like the reference to the guys "area" she did. That was too funny. I can only imagine how much pain that is. I haven't had a mammogram yet. Don't have to for a few more years. Of course there isn't much to squeeze so it will probably hurt like H E double hockey sticks.One is not looking forward to it. The last time I went to the Gynocologist it wasn't that great of an experience. I hear that clamp thingy and I get all nervous about it. I went to a new doctor this time. I now know it is worth going back to the other doctor and paying an arm and a leg. I think that's what the guy took! I never hurt that bad after one of those exams. Ouch!

Okay enough talk about me, what's going on in the world? Spinning back into control yet? No, okay. I'll check back later.BYE!

Can I make a suggestion. When you get your Mother talking about her past etc. don't just listen write it down, or if you can record it. There is so much family history etc lost when Parents, Grandparents pass away. Make photo albums, encourage your children to contribute as well.

Yes Heather... I try to talk with my mum and hug and kiss her as much as I can! Her short term memory wavers a lot now, but when you get her talking about her past she is always so full of good stories and advice... and I treasure all of that.

I couldn't believe it when she said that... I thought... far out, no wonder she has hardly been saying anything much about the comment boards. Can you believe that she hasn't known up until now that people could leave comments on her website??? Makes you wonder just who is running her show... wonder what else she doesn't know about??

I am really surprised actually... I thought she would be really involved in everything that happened, not just on her show but also on her website. She must be sooooo trusting of those people who work for her that do things and make decisions for her on her behalf with the website.

Gosh... if it was me I would be wanting to check out everything that my staff were doing. I actually think it is awful that she has in the past just totally left it to "others" to decide what happens on her website... and what she gets to see and not see from her website. I hope she starts to spend more time checking out her website and actually looking at some of the comments herself.

I actually think that it is even a bit irresponsible of her not to regularly check out just exactly what is happening on her own website and having more involvement as far as deciding what emails and comments she will respond to etc.. Not doing this just totally leaves people who post on the comment boards completely at the mercy of the staff who monitor her web... and that may not always be a good thing.

Anyway, I realise she can't do everything herself... but I do believe though that she should be somewhat more involved personally in just what is happening on her own website. That is just being more responsible... and actually in fact... I think... more caring of her fans.

Well, that's just my thoughts on it all. What does everybody else think??

Yeah Heather me and Kim talked about her reading some of the comments from us and we both agree: AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! We would be so embarassed. Especially some of the crap that I wrote on the blog, OMG! AHHHH! I'm kinda glad that thing is gone. I would hate for her to read some of the answers I gave for some of the questions. They were so stupid. Funny, but stupid. God I hope she doesn't read this. I'm a little nervous about writing on here now knowing she could be reading it in the near future. Hello Blogettes! I am back! I missed a couple of days celebrating my birthday. Thanks to all of you that sent Happy Birthday wishes my way. Scrappy,my birthday was actually friday the 28th. I went to what I thought was going to be a quiet dinner last night and was surprised with 25 of my friends when I got there. It was nice. Heather, I would wet my pants if I ever got a message like that! Good for you! Needless to say I will be watching with great anticipation of what COULD be her recognition of the Coneys. Jen, thanks again for the new (and old)show reviews. Martine, glad to hear you are feeling better.

Oh... I also meant to say to you Heather that I have a green and gold cone... with a little picture of Dory the fish from Finding Nemo on it!... thanks to Alison! Green and gold are the official Australian sporting colours and seeing that I am Australian... thought I better be a bit patriotic!

As for the picture of Dory, well that was because I had told the others that my husband calls me Dory... and also because I actually do resemble Ellen a bit... well others have told me that.

Anyway... a big holla also to all you other Coneheads!... especially you Alison!... thanks for the great job on my cone... been meaning to tell you how much I loved it. Also, sorry I never got around to emailing you directly... I did email Jennifer a few times, but just have been soooooo busy and with the neck/shoulder injury... things have just been pretty chaotic.

Heather how exciting for you! You lucky devil... took them long enought to get around to answering one of your messages though. Hey, I have my mum staying with me at the moment. She is 87 and I don't think long for this life. I dread the day she does go... I will miss her then also.

Now Heather you know it will be something stupid so she can make a joke. I keep trying that but not successful so far. I know it's Monday. Yeah I was thinking they tape the show the day before. It was early. Anyway,

It's TV show premiere review day!!!!!
Mulholland Drive here reporting on the new shows I have watched this week.

Las Vegas: This was another good premiere. The entire show Sam was at a therapist talking about what has been going on at the Montecito. Okay a recape of the last episode of the fourth season. Sam was tied up and locked into a trunk by one of her "whales". He got her on his plane took her out of the trunk and was about to have his way with her but Sam being Sam grabbed the emergency handle on the door and pushed him out it. That's why she is at the therapist but refuses to talk about that. Everytime the guy mentions it she changes the subject to what everyone else is doing. Now to what everyone else is doing.
Danny, Mary, and Ed ended up at the bar where Mary's dad was. All three of them had guns. Mary was going to shoot him but Danny interfered then there were three gun shots and Mary's dad was dead. Danny got her into her vehicle and wrote something down and gave it to her along with his gun. She took off and no one has seen her since.
Meanhwile back at the Montecito Delinda was in a room on the 37th floor with one of Danny's friends. He had a homemade bomb and Delinda was trying to convince him not to kill himself. He was flipping out because he was called back up by the Marines and he knew he couldnt' handle another tour over in Iraq. Anyway he told Delinda to get out of the room right before he set the bomb off. Delinda managed to escape into the laundry closet? she ended up in the laundry shoot and landed in one of those big baskets in the laundry room. Danny managed to find her. She said something along the lines of " Oh my god the baby" and that's when we found out that Delinda and Danny are having a baby. Sometime after that Danny was arrested for killing Mary's dad. A couple of drunk idiots with a cellphone caught the entire thing on video and put it on the internet. Meanwhile the Montecito was robbed of 10 million dollars. Ed got there in time to shoot two of the guys and one was arrested by the cops. The guy refused to talk so they couldn't find out who the guy was. Of course Ed being Ed found the guy and did his thing if you know what I mean.
Danny was later released due to lack of evidence. Turned out that Ed was the one who shot him. I think Mary did get one shot in because the cop who kept harassing Danny about it said there were two different guns used because of the bullets. It' something about the way the gun barrel grazes the bullets when they come out. I watch too many cop shows. Anyway the guy confronts Ed about it. I don't know if Ed was arrested for it or not. Didn't really say.
Moving on to Mike. He spends the entire episode trying to catch a guy who he thinks is counting cards. Him and the new owner Tom Selleck. He is a billionaire cattle rancher. Anyway after hours of trying to figure out how this guy is cheating he discovers that the Dr. ( the guy cheating) discovered or invented a type of lense that you can see right through things. How he discovered it has something to do with Cancer research or something. Anyway the guy had the lenses in his eyes. When Mike told the new owner about this he decided to make the guy play until he lost all the money he won.
Okay moving on, Delinda signed her and Danny up for parenting classes. He didn't seemed thrilled about it. Anyway everyone through out the show was teasing Danny about getting Ed's job. He in response to the new owners having fun ways, he hired the country music group Montgomery Gentry to do a show at the Montecito and did a suitcase party. Basically it was a raffle. The winners got to go on a Trip to Paris on the Montecito jet all expenses paid for. Of course Mike had to tease him about it.
Oh, Tom Selleck is all about having fun. Instead of giving away an Aston-martin he decided that for the price of one sports car he could give away a bunch of trucks. So he did. His new motto being " Anything can happen".
Moving on, everyone was freaking out about possibly losing their jobs but in the end no one was fired. I don't think Danny has officially taken Eds' job yet. Um, the show ended with Sam at the therapist. She had told everything that was going on and he asked her about what happened on the plane and she looked at the clock and told him that the time was up. Figures. Anyway that was the show.

And that is the TV show premiere review!

I don't know if I'll have time to continue to review the shows through out the season. I'll try though.
By the way most of these shows can be seen on their respective network websites. I know Las Vegas you can watch entire episodes and Greys Anatomy the head writer has a blog. Hasn't posted anything yet the last I checked. I don't blame her. She is busy writing the show.Anyway BYE!

(which one, i don't know) It'll probably be the one i sent about her "tush" looking good in one of the outfits she was wearing last week. That will be embarassing!

Scrapbook: Yes, it still does seem like yesterday that my Mom passed away. The pain sometimes is so bad i think it'll never go away. I miss her so much. It'll be 3 years Feb 5th for me.

How the heck did you do that?

Kims' birthday was yesterday. I sent her a couple pictures for her birthday. I cropped her cone out of the picture and put a piece of cake and balloons and happy birthday on it. I also took the picture of Ellen with the chefs and put "happy birthday, what can I get ya?" I was trying to make it funny but that's all I could come up with. Lame I know.

Since we are explaining the cones mine is scarlet and gray because it's the colors of my favorite college football team. The Ohio State Buckeyes! Go bucks!

When is your birthday again?

Oh Heather..My cone is yellow, due to that was my mums faviourite colour, she said it was a creative colour. My mum passed away too, it will be 7 years this December 29th coming. Mind you it does feel sometimes it was only yesturday.

Well done Heather, pick yourself up with a five leaf clover..Heather? if you can stick it on youtube!! or someone stick it on youtube. Even get the cross-eyed grasshopper to stick it on youtube. AHHHHHHHH!!!!! Oh my God you guys!!! I just got home from work and there was a message on my phone from The Ellen DeGeneres show that i have to tune in Monday because Ellen will be responding to one of my e-mails!!!!!!!!!!!!!The guy on the phone said to tell all my friends to watch Monday! I have no idea which e-mail it would be as i've been writing her at least once a week for 3 years now!! I'm so excited! This is one of my dreams come true!!! (let's just hope they don't cut the segment!) I wonder if it will be the one i wrote about them bringing back the message boards because the coneheads miss it! Mulholland drive: Thanks for the re-caps on the new shows although i've managed to watch them all, with the exception of the end of ER. Meredith's sister Lexi reminds me SOOOOO much of Claire Danes in a show called "My So Called Life". Did anybody ever watch that? The speech she gave George in front of the babies....That was so chanelling "Angela Chase" (Claire Danes) from MSCL. She looks like her, talks like her, acts like her!

Grey's Anatomy:
I have never really watched this show but this season premiere was pretty good. Apparently George failed his internship test so he is an intern again. He has a whole new attitude about the whole thing. The whole love triangle between him and Izzie and Callie I think is about to take a turn. He showed at the end of the episode at Izzie's door and told her he loved her. I don't know this writers ways because I don't watch the show regularly so it will be interesting to see how this unfolds.
Bailey is not happy about not getting chief resident. I don't blame her. She seems like the kind of person who would run the place very well. Besides Callie didn't come off too well in this episode as the chief in charge.
Izzie decided to help a deer. At the convincing of a little boy. There was a car accident and the deer was the cause of it. The kids dad picked up the deer and threw it in the back of his truck and went to the hospital. He had to take a lady her arm. The kid started freaking out in the emergency room yelling that there was someone in the truck outside that needed help. Anyway Izzie and the new interns ( she got stuck with them the whole episode)go running out there and find it's a doe. A female deer. Couldn't resist. Anyway she tries to help the deer in three different scenes. The first scene the dad keeps telling the boy that he needs to learn to deal with things and that the deer is dead. Well the deer was bleeding and glassy eyed. She decides in the last scene to shock the deer. She shocks to deer and it stands up and runs away like it's fine. She couldn't believe it and neither could the interns or the dad of the kid. She ends up giving them this whole speech about having low expectations about things. You know don't get your hopes up kind of thing.
Um, Meredith has a sister. Yeah that's right a sister. She apparently wants nothing to do with her but well have to wait and see how it turns out.

ER: Okay this was a great premiere. Dr. Kovac (Luka) is no longer in charge of the ER and the guy who replaced him is a real donkeys behind. This guy thinks he knows what is best for the ER even though the guy has just taken over. He was in another part of the hospital and thinks he still is. He doesn't handle emergency situations too well. He was told off my Abby, Morris and Pratt. He told Morris and Pratt they couldn't work because they had alcohol on their breathe. They were at a bar with Abby when all three were paged. Anyway Morris being the smart guy he is, had a blood test done on both him and Pratt. Pratt showed the new Chief the results and allowed them to continue to work. Anyway getting to the major story here, Neela was hurt during a rally for the troops. They thought there was a bomb but it turns out that it was some guy playing with fireworks. This guy ironically ended up in the same ER room with a bunch of the victims including a little girl and Neela. Neela has internal bleeding and was taken to surgery to the discretion of the new ER chief. She went through the surgery and they are waiting for her to wake up.
Well getting to how they found out it was fireworks and not a bomb. Gates was taking care of the guy who was responsible for the whole thing, the guy got his fingers blown off. He told Gates that he was mowing and knew he was about out of gas and tried to put gas in the lawn mower and it got away from him and cut his fingers off. Well Gates asked a cop who came in with a guy who was basically tripping on mushrooms, if they found out who set off the bomb and he told him they thought it was some guy messing with fireworks. Well the guys story just didn't add up. The place where he lives there isn't much grass to be cutting. Anyway he tried to lie his way out of it and Gates just lost it. He dragged to guy around the ER showing him what he did pointing out the victims. The little girl who ended up dying was pointed out as they were rolling her body out of the ER and Gates was dragging the guy around. The grandfather who was there with her seeing this lost it too and started choking the guy and I think he ended up dying. Last I seen he wasn't breathing.
They all decided to go up to surgery and see how Neela was doing. They were told she hadn't woke up yet so they decided to sit and wait. Morris decided to order pizza in the mean time and decided that Pratt was to pay for it. Now I'm hungry.

And that's the TV show premiere review! Tonight is the season premiere of Las Vegas on NBC. WIll watch and review! BYE!

Heroes: well the guy who can travel through time is in the past. Waaay in the past. Ancient times. He kind of messed up history by interfering with his hero. The guy was about to die and he stopped it by touching the horse he was on and going to a different time.
The little girl is having nightmares but won't talk to the cop who can hear what people think. He has become her legal guarding by the way. I'm guessing Sylar or whatever the guys name is is still alive.
Claire is going to a new school in California and trying to act normal. Her dad is working at a copy place. Something like an Office Depot. The guy who was a senator has become a drunk and hates his mother for her being involved with the whole deal. His brother is NOT dead. He was found in a storage unit. I can't remember where but it was a foreign country.

And that's the TV show premiere review! Tonight is the season premiere of ER and Greys Anatomy. I'll watch and review. BYE!

Dirty Sexy Money: I missed this show but the title is enough for me to write it down on my schedule board to watch it. Will report next week.

Bionic Woman:

Okay this show is... I don't know yet. Here' the set up. This woman is taking care of her little sister and is dating a professor. They go out on a date leaving the sister at home, on the way back from the restaurant they are in a car accident. A big rig hits them. The car flipped about 10 times and then slammed into a light pole. She was taken a special hospital in the middle of nowhere where her boyfriend decided that the only way to save her life was to replace both legs, an arm, and an eye with computer things. I didn't get the whole thing with that but her arm and legs and one eye are like a computer and are indestructible. She looks normal has skin and bleeds just like she's human. Anyway after escaping and hunting down her boyfriend he explains all this to her that his father invented this stuff for military purposes and that she is programmed to kill if necessary. While she is at work bar tending a woman walks up to the bar and is talking to her when she cuts her finger it activates the computer chips inside of her ( she goes online - that's what the other woman referred to it as) and she starts doing things with her eyes. She can zoom in and hear conversations across the room and all kinds of stuff like this. Anyway the woman she was talking to, it turns out she was the first Bionic Woman and she gets into a fight with her. Apparently she isn't too happy that they built another bionic woman. There was a whole fight scene which was pretty good. I think the second bionic woman won though. The other one disappeared when a helicopter showed up. Anyway she ended up telling the guy that is head of the program that she will work with him if it is going to save the world but on her terms.

Life:

This show is about a cop who was convicted of murder and was given a life sentence but later was released because of lack of connection with something in the evidence. Anyway he received a large settlement of an undisclosed amount. He is still a cop. His partner was recently in rehab for cocaine addiction but has been clean for 6 months. Anyway the lieutenant is looking for a reason to get rid of him.
He is a very ZEN guy. I say that because his outlook on life is very different from the norm. It showed in the beginning of the show him sitting in his cell reading a book about Zen. He gets harassed but a couple cops when they have to go to the detention center but he handles it well. It was actually kind of funny. This show had a few funny moments in it.
While in prison he met a guy who is now is accountant. The guy was arrested for laundering money if I remember right. Anyway the entire show when he is driving is very expensive car I think it was a Bentley I'm not sure, he kept saying " I don't care about his car".Anyway he bought this orange farm and the guy who is his accountant wanted to drive the tractor so he handed him the keys and lets him drive it. The guy obviously didn't know how because he put the tractor in reverse and ran over his car!! The cop didn't even flinch. I don't know what kind of Zen that guy has found to not fly off the handle with that.
Um, he is very close with his attorney an apparently hates his dad. She told him to call him because he keeps calling her. Anyway this guy is getting a crash course in technology. He was put in prison in 1995 and was just released in 2007 so he has missed a lot with technology in the past 12 years. His former partner pulled out his cellphone to take a picture and he couldn't believe that it could take a picture. He was also intrigued by the fact that his phone rang in his car and he was talking to his partner. He had no idea how he was doing that. It was a funny moment. He was looking around the car like where the hell is she? He even asked her how they were talking. The case they were working on the kid they talked to mentioned IM and he had no idea what that was. later on in the show he was reading a book " Internet for Idiots" and he told her what IM stood for and that you can't trace it. Of course she knew that.

Anyway it will be interesting to see how these shows come along over the new season.

Chuck= stupid. Here's what happened on the new show Chuck. Chuck is a guy who works for the Nerd Herd in an electronics store. A friend of his used to work for the CIA or NSA I got confused on that there were both departments after Chuck, anyway His friend right before he was shot and blew up a building, he downloaded a bunch of stuff to what appeared to be a PDA. He sent the e-mail to Chuck which Chuck had to decode to open. He opened the e-mail and watched a bunch of pictures flash across his computer screen for what appreared to be hours. ( it was night and morning when he passed out)The entire day while and work and what not he kept seeing these images from the e-mail flashing inside his head. A CIA agent tried to steal his computer for the e-mail but was not successful because she dropped the tower while fighting Chuck and his buddy inside his apartment. Make a long story short he doesn't know what any of it means but by the end of the show he was aware that the CIA and NSA were after him for the info.

Dancing with the Stars:
Did not watch much of because I don't know who they all are and I am not really interested this year.

Journeyman:

This show is about a guy who travels through time. The first time they show him doing this he is in a cab on the way to a restraunt and wakes up hours later in another cab. He goes to the restraunt where he was suppose to meet his wife in the first cab and finds that he is in another year. He gets back in a cab and wakes up and goes to the restraunt and meets his wife and tells her the whole story. Yes she looked at him like he was dumb. Later that night he goes to bed and everything is normal. He wakes up the next morning in 1987 in a park. By the end of the day he ends up saving a guys life. When he gets back to 2007 he looks up the guy. I kind of missed the whole scheme of things on that one but he reunited with an old girlfriend after following the guy and somehow changed time a little bit. Anyway he does this whole thing and tells his wife and everyone what is happening to him and they tell him that he needs to go to rehab but he said NO NO NO. Sorry couldn't resist. Anyway to prove it to his wife, while in the past he takes a toolbox and buries it in the backyard. When he gets back to the future he tells his wife what happend over the past 2 days or so and to prove it he digs up the toolbox. They hugged and I think she believed him. I don't know that was the end of the show.

Big Bang Theory;
This show is hysterical!! It's about these two guys who are basically the "Geek squad" and a hot girl who moves in across the hall. The one guy likes her and the other is terrified to talk to her. Neither one knows how to talk to women which makes funny situation when the one guy offers to let her use their shower because she mentions that hers is broke. They then tried to get her TV back from her ex-boyfriend who was basically a huge buy. Very muscular, all while she is stuck in their apartment with 2 of their friends who are exactly like them.
They went to his apartment for the TV and ended up getting pantsed! ( they got their pants taken away by him) Anyway, they explain to her what happened and she leaves. End of show. By the way to let you know how geeky these guys are, their shower curtain has the periodic table of elements on it.

And that's the TV show premiere review! Tonight is the debut of Bionic Woman on NBC. I'll watch and review.BYE!

I agree Heather. That lady I thought was going to be funny but it really blew. Gladys could have been funnier. Heck I could've been funnier. Especially about Chuck. Hi all! ****WAVES**** Just a comment about yesterday's show....was it just me or did anybody else find that the segment with that woman who bought the painting and found out it was valuable really bomb??? It was so strained and not funny...You know who would have been great for that segment? GLADYS! She should have called her to get her opinion on new shows! Scrappy doo, uh, Haunted theme park? Okay let's review here, we are a bunch of Ellen fans who wear traffic cones on our heads and have names ourselves the " Coneheads" now we have a name for our talking place? I know Halloween is coming up but, you are seriously starting to scare me here. let's not become too silly. We don't want to become known as the weirdos of the Ellen website.

Yeah I have to stand in front of the class and talk. Not good!! my professor is trying this whole "let's get to know each other deal" I'm not good in front of people I know. Just ask my class from the eighth grade. I choked when I had to talk about something history related. I got 2 lines into it and choked. yes I was made fun of for about a month. Even senior year someone brought that up. I'm like "we went four years without that being mentioned!"
I like to think I'm a good writer just not good talking in public. Writing on here is very different. Even writing something and having someone read it is better than saying it to someone. I think my group sharing a little about our stories we are going to tell kind of helped me. Of course it didn't help when my professor used what I was doing as an example of nervousness and what not to do. I was playing with the baseball I'm going to use for my story. I'm sorry when I have something in my hands I can't help but play with. I do it with the pencil and pens too. I'll have to sit it down when I talk. I might lose it then. I'll have to stand there and talk to the back wall and not make eye contact. Which isnt' a good thing to do. Anyway the show is about to start gotta go! BYE!

Hallo everyone!! So, what's going on? I e-mailed Elizabeth, Kim, Tania, Seina, Martine, Alison, I think that's all, and told them the comments were back. I'm watching tv so if I missed someone, Sorry! I sent a picture Alison made for us cones to the show. It's her dog wearing a traffic cone on his head surrounded by other cones. It's funny. I doubt it will be seen on tv. I had to shrink the picture it has to be low resolution then I told Alison about it then she sent me another one at low resolution which I sent to the show.Yes I explained what it was about and included names.l I hope it at least gets shown to Ellen even if it doesn't make it on the show. I think it's one of those goofy things that she would like to keep. You know in a scrapbook from the show.

Anyway, so Scrappy doo, learn anything from this situation? hmm?

I think my e-mail is still on here on that message from Ellen thingy. I'll have to look for sure. Anyway, I say that too much, I gotta go. Got homework to do. Well an outline of a story I have to tell for Public Speaking class. I don't have to do it until Monday but I would like the professor to look over the outline tomorrow.

Just to let you know. Scotland were slashed by the All Blacks, the city was heaving with New Zealanders weekend past. But the big game for us will be Italy. The All Blacks will win The World Cup Rugby I feel it in my bones.

I'm sure not because of my letter, but i'm glad they did! Now on to the show...it's really bothering me that she is not adressing the departure of DJ Jonny...One of her guests asked what happened to the other DJ and she mutered "don't ask" and changed the subject...also, what happened to Gladys????? she doesn't do the intro anymore, Ellen hasn't mentioned her or called her, you'd think she'd call her to find out how her summer went! Things like this really bug me!!!!

Thanks Kim... glad to be back! Just read some pretty angry comments by some more unhappy viewers... this time about the lady on the airline thing. One lady said she is never going to watch Ellen again! I don't know... I just wish Ellen would stop with all the trashy news stuff... it really is bringing the standard of the show down I think. I mean I just don't know what Ellen is thinking with some of this stuff... why did she have to change things?? What happened to her over the summer break to make her take this different approach on the show??

Yeah Jennifer, I do think they are taking notice of us. I mean, it was a bit more than a coincidence that they started doing the very thing you suggested and said you were going to do regarding the song Ellen dances to. The same happened about a comment I posted a while back.

In it I said how much I liked the New York set and how all the glass and light made for a nicer and brighter backdrop for Ellen on the show... and that they should think about doing a makeover on the Burbank set and change the backdrop to something similar to the New York one! And, surprise, surprise they have changed Ellens position now for the show to where the backdrop resembles "glass" and "light" and is brighter and nicer! Hmmmmm! Bit more than a coincidence don't you think???

You know I really think they should start paying us for all of our wonderful suggestions!! Don't you agree Jennifer?? Do you remember I suggested to them a long time ago that they should appoint us to be their "fan-based" advisory board and they could call us "The Regular Ellen Bloggers Advisory Panel" or just "The Panel" for short?? I just had another idea... maybe they could also call us "The Coneheads". ha ha!

Hey just got a message from Buffs' husband the show WILL air tomorrow! I'll keep my eyes open!

Just seen this on "Got a question for Ellen?" Sounds like they are trying to break us up here. Alison can't post and neither can Tania. Wonder about Carrie and Buff. Guess We'll find out!

It could be from all the complaining Martine I mean after all I offered to post what song she dances to everyday and someone took someones suggestion about it before I could start. Talk about pulling the rug out from under someone. Anyway nice to see ya. I'll e-mail Alison and explain that the link to here I sent was Scrappy doos' idea and that we all are on here. Hope Carrie and Susan can find us! And Buff!!!!! Hope she is having fun out there in Hollyweird! She'll be on tomorrows show! I'll let you all know where she is sitting if I spy them. Welcome back Martine! It's so cool to have almost all of the original "Coney's" back together. I hold onto hope that Carrie, Susan and Alison will be joining us soon.
I agree, I'm glad Ellen has (almost) brought back the old format and I like it better too. I was a little afraid that she was headed down the wrong path.

Looks like Ellen is back to being more her old self... the non-political/non-controversial just plain "fun to be with" person! Whew... that first week of season 5 was a real rollercoaster ride... with all the changes ie. the "new"... "Ellen in your face" approach! I really thought the show was just going off the rails with all that stuff... I was worried that if it kept going on like that it would loose what was unique and special about it ie. it's totally carefree and fun atmosphere... and that it's rating would fall and it would ultimately be axed... which would be totally tragic!!! But now things seem to have really settled down, thank goodness, and be back to just having lighthearted fun. Gee, reading the posts there were a lot of people who really complained about all the changes in approach... I wonder if they stopped all that stuff because of all the complaints and concern for their ratings??

Anyway, I wonder how Buff is going? Anyone heard from her? Noticed Tania, Carrie and Alison haven't posted on here.

Oh thank goodness!!...I found all the other cones!!! Scrappy doo you are the best! Thanks for leaving the clues and for finding a new home for the Cone family! I have been away for a week and got back to find... shock and horrors... the blog had gone! I am so glad to see that all the cones (or at least most of them) have been able to re- unite here. Go the Coneheads!!

Hey Hezzy I have a picture of Buff ( Elizabeth)and her daughter I'm gonna try to figure out where they are and pass it along on here. I am recording it so I can slow mo it and try to find them. Apparently they tell you where to sit to there's no telling where she'll be. She said they're both short so maybe they'll be in the first few rows?

Hi all! Just trying out me new "screen name". I wasn't liking my whole name being on every post!

so Pammy is an American citizen now! Now America can hang it's head in shame LOL!! Really, she seems nice enough and i do love that she's an animal rights activist, i just don't like the "dumb blond" act. I don't think she looked at Ellen once during the whole interview...too busy looking around, playing with her hair and flipping her head around! She reminded me of Anna Nicole Smith. I want to look for (can't remember her name...Buffy?) in tomorrows audience! Did she tell anybody what she's wearing or something?

I don't know where the others are, the Russian, The Kiwi, The Aussie.

Hope Elizabeth had a good plane flight and has landed well.

Some good news Scotland beat France 1-0 in the Euro football qualifiers. There is a chance we might get through. As I am the only European apart from Tania, well there is no point talking about it.

Hey I got nuttin' better to do Kim. They took my job away officially today. They flashed at the bottom of the screen what song she was dancing too. Crapola! oh well, I start school next week. I guess it's for the best. I probably won't have time to watch it and take notes anyway. I will try to get on here as much as possible. My classes are in the morning and late afternoon. I'll be home in time for the show. I don't know about next week though because my annoying aunt will be here and all hell may break lose. She may end up in a hotel room or something. He he! That would make ones day! Gotta go missed part of the show. I was in the therapy waiting room. I turned it on but missed most of what was said. I didn't want to turn it up and annoying the two people one next to me and the other sorta across from me from reuniting. Apparently they graduated together from that school over there I think sucks but my uncles' wife thinks is the best school around. Not even close. They all have problems. Anyway enough ranting. Elizabeth will be on Fridays show. She said something about Kanye West and he is on Friday so. Mystery solved there. I have a picture of her and her daughter. I'll let you know where they are if I spy them.

P.S. they do 2 tapings on Thursday and non on Friday. Must be nice to work four days a week. Wait I don't have a job, I have no say. Nevermind. BYE!

Ok, so does anyone know what Buff and Elsa are wearing on the show and when it will air? From what Ellen said yesterday, they tape only 1 day in advance but I know last season she taped a couple of shows per day and they aired them consecutively. I'm not sure how it works this season.
I know she'll log on and tell us all about it on friday(that is if the Xanax wears off in time he-he). I'm just so thrilled to be chatting w/all my blog buddies again. I'm concerned that Martine won't find us here. Jen, you didn't get a email address on her did you?
Scrappy, you should set up a Yahoo email account or something so we have a way to find you should something (God forbid) happen to this space. It's free there you know?

Well, we are quite internation here. America, Scotland, Russia, Canada, New Zealand, Aussie.

I tell you what I will be watching The World Cup Rugby. Scotland will be up against The All Blacks, eeeeek! The All Blacks are good. France and Italy are good, so is Ireland. I don't know if America is part of The World Cup Rugby.

I can't wait for the Winter Olymics. I love the speed skating and tobogging run.
