“American Idol” has launched the careers of multiple musicians -- and it’s about to happen again with Kimberly Caldwell. After making it to the Top 10 of season 2, Kimberly is set to release her debut album and become a household name.

Performing has always been Kimberly’s talent. She began at an early age in beauty pageants before trying for the competition television show “Star Search.” She broke ground when she became a five-time winner -- the most for a junior vocalist. Following her wins, she landed a role as a featured performer in a singing revue called “Country Tonite,” until she was 15.
