Today is a very big day. The band The Wanted made their US debut on my show! I've been so excited that they were coming, I put up Wanted posters all over town, even though they were already up at the post office.
Brad Pitt was in my studio this season for the first time today! He stole the hearts of my audience and I think one of the floor lamps from his dressing room.
Since it was his first time in the studio, I did what I always do with a new guest -- I made him get fingerprinted, I frisked him, and I did a background check.
Over the summer I discovered an amazing young singer named Cody Simpson, and I was so excited for him to make his US television debut on my show! While he was here, I went through his wallet and here's what I found out about him.
Did you know that when Kevin Nealon was a kid, he spent four years living in Germany? I don't know what he did, but that sounds like a pretty big time-out.
In college he was a star kicker for his football team and considered going pro. When I was younger, I wanted to be a professional ribbon dancer, but my cats kept chewing on the ribbon.
Kevin isn't the only one in his family that's been on my show. His wife, Susan Yeagley, was a guest star on my CBS sitcom, "The Ellen Show." Their 3-year-old son Gable hasn't been on any of my shows yet, but my agents are currently reaching out to him.
Did you know that Selena began her acting career on the hit show "Barney and Friends" when she was only 7 years old? I remember watching her on it. She had a beautiful voice and never knocked anything over with her tail. I may be thinking of the dinosaur
Selena means moon in Greek. I'm also pretty sure that "sun" in Greek is "Bieber."
Justin Bieber has a Papillon rescue dog named Sammy? "Papillon" is French for "butterfly," which Justin would know, since he speaks fluent French. The dogs get their name because their ears look like butterfly wings, and because they can fly. I may have to fact-check that last part.
Justin was a very popular Halloween costume last year. In fact, so many people dressed like him, when he actually came to visit me, he had to keep knocking, because I kept handing him a Laffy Taffy and closing the door.
This week, my friend Steve Martin was on the show, and it reminded me how much I love him. He is absolutely one of my favorite banjo-playing comedians named Steve.
Did you know that Steve is a vegetarian? That’s not the reason why I love him (although it helps a lot). Also, he told me that at California State University, he studied philosophers. So he’s hilarious AND he knows about dinosaurs.

It’s Earth Day! Today is a great day to celebrate my favorite planet -- Earth! If we don’t learn to respect our planet, who knows what might happen? I don’t want to name names, but look what happened to Pluto.
Earth Day started in 1970. More than 20 million people participated across the US. Today, Earth Day is celebrated by over a billion people in 180 nations around the world.

Last week, Pia was voted off "American Idol," and her fans were outraged. Thousands of people have voiced their disbelief on Facebook and Twitter. It was even reported that as a tribute, one person made a full-sized sculpture of Pia out of paper clips. But that wasn't true. I only made her head.

Kaley played a younger version of my character, Ellen Morgan, on my show, "Ellen". It's very hard to play me. I should know. I do it every day.
Kaley was on the show today and I learned that she bought a Shake Weight. I also learned she has a filthy, filthy mind.
It's St. Patrick's Day! They say that St. Patrick banished all of the snakes from Ireland. There are still no snakes there to this day.
St. Patrick is the Patron Saint of Ireland, even though he was born in Britain. This is very similar to how I am the Patron Saint of the Green Bay Packers.
Every day, the world consumes around 5.5 million pints of Guinness, but on St. Patrick’s Day, they drink 13 million. That should be in the Guinness Book of World Records, or at least the World Book of Guinness Records.
Did you know Natalie Portman missed the premiere of "Star Wars Episode 1" so she could study for final exams at Harvard? She's smart, beautiful and talented. I know what you're thinking... it takes one to know one. Well, that's sweet.

Jennifer Hudson was on the show today and she looked great! She says she loves the way she looks now and she loves the way she looked before, and I couldn't agree more. Though I'm always a big fan of bangs.
Jennifer has a new album coming out. It's called "I Remember Me," which is a very important thing to remember. I once left my house without me and I was very embarrassed once I got to work.
While Jennifer was rehearsing, I got to play with her adorable son, David. He's only 18 months old and already he's a great dancer. You can tell he's going to be an amazing entertainer.
It was great to see Jennifer and meet her son. I hope they drop by again soon.
