"The Ellen DeGeneres Show" returns for its seventh season on Tuesday, September 8th, fresh from having won four Daytime Emmys. Since its inception in 2003, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" has now earned an impressive 29 Daytime Emmy Awards. The show continues to prove itself a leader in the daytime talk show genre by blending genuine warmth, humor and unparalleled celebrity interviews.
Last season, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" moved to the Warner Bros. lot, which allowed the show to interact with the other productions there, including primetime television shows, theatrical productions and celebrities with offices there. DeGeneres utilized the lot this past season with visits to and from George Clooney, Clint Eastwood and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and ended the season with an outdoor concert on the lot with musical guest "No Doubt" and comedian George Lopez. The show will continue to creatively go behind-the-scenes of productions and give viewers an unprecedented look at a Hollywood studio.

The show has also won the Johnny Carson Producers of the Year Award in Variety Television in 2005 and 2006 from the Producers Guild. DeGeneres also recently won her first Teen Choice Award for Choice Twit and has won the People's Choice Award for Favorite Daytime Talk Show Host for the fifth year in a row for Favorite Daytime Talk Show Host.
"The Ellen DeGeneres Show" has received acclaim for spotlighting the host's compassion and humanitarian efforts. "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" has raised over $10 million to improve the lives of New Orleans residents, and partnered with Brad Pitt's "Make it Right" foundation to help rebuild in New Orleans' Lower Ninth Ward and raised over one million dollars to help build eight homes. The show has also dedicated a special episode to Breast Cancer Awareness Month and DeGeneres has served as spokesperson for General Mills' breast cancer awareness initiative, "Pink for the Cure."
