Hi Ellen, wow all these posts dear lord I pray someone gets the help they need. I have a beautiful daughter living in Connecticut named Mandy, her husband Richey and their adorable five year old daughter Milana. I am so worried about them because they are about to be thrown out of theor apatment, I cant help them in any way and I cant sleep or eat worriying about the outcome. Richey is in the air force and they cant seem to find him a full time posistion and as a result they are losing everything. Little Milana should be writing letters to santa she is so sweet and beautiful My daughter is a strong young woman but I hear the stress in her voice each time I talk with her and all she says is 'Dont worry mom we will figure it all out'. My heart breaks. I just want them to be safe and happy and little Milana to finish writing that letter to Santa.

Hi Ellen, I will keep it short and sweet, My twins are away at college in Oshkosh Wisconsin. I gave them my 1999 Ford Taurus to share as a car . Both my son & daughter work to pay their rent and go to college and juggling the car, sometimes My daughter has to walk quite a few blocks to classes. All I want and she asked for this for Christmas is a huge umbrella which is light and see threw and goes over her body about down to her knees to keep the cold and rain and snow off of her. I know you always create cute gifts for people on your show with your emblem~ Ellen~ on it she would use it proud! thanks again Ellen I luv yah and so do My children! Cheryl

I AM 50 YEARS OLD AND ITS NOT EASY TO FIND A JOB AT THIS AGE BUT AT LEAST I HAVE ONCE A YEAR A 5 DAYS JOB LOOKING AFTER AN ELDERLY MAN WHO'S DAUGHTER GOES ON A CRUISE EVERY YEAR AND SHE HIRES ME FOR THOSE DAYS...THIS YEAR IT WAS A WEEK AGO SO I WILL HAVE A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR MY KIDS FRO CHRISTMAS!! Ellen, I love your show. I wish I could watch it at work. I'm asking that your Swaggin waggin help kids with cancer. The blanket fairy www.theblanketfairy.com (also an Facebook) sends gifts to the kids and organizes donors to give Christmas and Christmas in July gifts to our brave "little" warriors. Theses kids go through so much and often don't win the fight. They are kids and should be enjoying life outside of hospitals and treatments that make them very sick. I lost my only grandchild Hayden at age 4 to cancer last December. Little gifts meant so much to him and his mom, my daughter. It showed us how much people care. I hope you can be a prt of this for the kids. Thank you.

A couple weeks ago my hours got cut at work. I have slowly dropped from forty to twelve a week. I began searching for a new job, because as a single mom of a three year old, 12 hours is just not cutting it. A week into the 12 hours a week, a shelving unit at work fell on me. I broke my leg. Now I cannot find someone who wants to hire a person with a broken leg. I love my job, I wish I was getting more hours. I would like to finish going to school, but I am not making enough money to put y son in day care for work hours, let alone school hours. I need help. I know the best way for us to get ahead and pay of debt is for me to finish my college degree, I just don't know how I am supposed to get it done.

Hey Ellen, I don't usually watch your show because I was at work,since my wife passed three years ago my days are getting gloomer. I was injured on the job as a delivery driver or peddled freight in Iowa and surrounding states. As I was off ended up in ER thinking having a hearty attack. But by grace of GOD not but found a tumor. I had successful surgery in June. So since Dec. 23 been off work no incopme coming in applied for SSD n SSI but denied my 2006 F150 was repoed $my lanmdlord and m$anager of Apt has let me stay. State of Iowa hasd helped with part of rent monthly. I'm at witts end. Could you find me some help till released to work or receive benifits of some or any kind. Ellen Love your show, but I love your heart more! You are truly a wonderful role model for all humanity. You care for people you have never meet, you help children that you do not know,you bring laughter into others..that is something money can not buy. You have a gift to make others realize there just might be a God because you sure are one of his Angels. I have read most of these posts and I know how it must break your heart not to help each and everyone personally, just by sending them a e-mail back puts a smile on their face. I know you do this because you are pure and have a giant heart, un like Oprah..(oops did I say that out-loud) I am happy with my life today, I have faced much adversity,my 1 and only child who lives in a hospital, just lost my home and all my belongings in a fire, my car is on its last leg, can't find work etc, however I am not here to ask for anything for me, i have 1 daughter,2 Niece's and 1 Nephew who I would love to be able to take exploring. I take care of them as often as I can and try to let them know life is not easy, but if you find the things that make you grateful..you can really have a good day.
