I own 4 pairs of TOMS, and I've had them for a while now, and I think it is so great that you brought it onto the show. I believe so much in what Blake is doing and I love to support it. I think its wonderful you brought it onto your show!!!

Hey Ellen,

I watched this show with my mom. We had both heard about this company but we'd never seen the products around. A few days after this show aired we went away for a family reunion and did a little shopping...we each bought a pair of TOMS! I have worn mine the last 2 days and they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own...and I normally wear flip flops...even in the snow!

Can't wait to get another pair of TOMS!

Thx Ellen! LUV you & your show!

Hi Ellen. I love your show and the person you are. As I watched an episode that I had DVRed with Blake Mycoskie, I was inspired and touched, but why are so many likely to help in other countries when there is so much need right here at home? The Oglala Sioux nation needs our help too. The Pine Ridge Reservation is in need of work, schools, and clean living conditions. They are a people who are rich in heritage, striving to preserve their history and keep up with times as well. Many of the children drop out of school because of living conditions they are faced with. The one government funded school they have you have to fill out an application to get into. The other school that is not government funded is in
such disrepair, that it needs a complete overhaul. In our country they say every child is entiteled to good education. These children of the Oglala Sioux need that oppertunity also. If you haven't already, please watch the Barbra Walters special on 20/20 episode "A hidden America: Children of the Great Plains." This will help you understand how much in need they are. There is so much potential within these people, we just need to let America know they are here and need our help. If maybe you could mention this on one of your shows, people will understand that children in our country need help just as much as those overseas. And maybe they will be as touched and inspired as I was to see the strength of these people.
Thanks for reading and thanks to your show. I will keep you in my DVR forever. Michelle Bowen
