An Unexpected Alpha Dog!

Susan from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania sent in this adorable photo. Either the little guy knows how to take charge, or the big dog has a heart of gold! In either case, it makes a great photo -- and you can see even more in our Best Pets photo gallery.

Adorable!!

Someone's been sleeping in MY bed...

I think this photo of the little and the big dog sleeping is absolutely fabulous. Dogs are so adaptable and work things out. The I believe is an Irish Wolfhound is hilarious because with all that body and legs he at least did manage to get his butt in the bed.

Reminds me of my wolfhound and greyhound. The greyhound weighs a hundred pounds less than the wolfhound but she rules! It is more a matter of the wolfhound having such a sweet gentle disposition rather than him being afraid of her. Wolfhounds are the best!

Check out "Guinness the Irish Wolfhound " page on facebook. Added more pictures. More to come. I'm just figuring out this facebook page thing.

As the surrogate mom to Guinness and Chloe (my snuggle pup!) I am so proud to see them all over the web and especially here! Guinness should get lots of attention not for his size and kindness to little Chloe, but for his awesome work as a therapy dog at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital where he spreads joy and amazement where ever he goes.

I know these dogs! The Irish Wolf Hound really is submissive to little Chloe. He is also a therapy dog! My Irish Wolf Hound loves him too.

I knew the little one had to be a girl! This comes as no surprise to me. You gotta watch out for those little doggies...they have big attitude!

oops!

This is the funniest thing I have seen in a long time! Adorable!

Cutest pic ever!!!

awww....so cute

These are our dogs and we love reading all of the great comments that people have made. We appreciate that they can make other people happy as much as they make our family happy. The big one in fact is a 3 year old Irish Wolfhound. He is just about 40 inches from paw to shoulder and still growing. The little one is a chihuahua/toy fox terrier (she's our rescue). When it's warm outside Guinness likes to sleep on the couch or the floor best. Guinness is also a therapy dog for the Children's Hospital here. He gets to visit the kids in their rooms. We want to thank the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh for having such a great pet therapy program and allowing us to be a part.

Hahaha...
it kinda reminds me of the situation in my bed with Watson (my pug). He always seems to take up most of the room, and I wake up hugging the edge. hahahaha

This made me cry!! My Irish wolfhound macdougall was just like this, my four pound yorkie rules the roost! We lost Mac last year, I don't think I'll ever get over it. He's got a big bed in heaven now.

My dog looks just like this dog and is a German Wire Haired Pointer and he has this same personality----he is (Drathar)the sweetest breed I have ever owned.

My great dane is the same way..if the other dog is smaller than she is..she treats them like a baby!! lets them eat first,go out side first..dogs are great!

I love the look on the big dog's face. Like, I know, but he asked nicely. LOL.

OMG!!!! That is so freaking funny!!!! Love it!

Haha my daughter said "mum it just had a baby"
