Web_exclusive_the_unedited_madonna_interview_1109.. Very nice :)

My name is Linda Funk and I am from McHenry, IL. I saw the interview with Madonna about bullying and it was a very powerful message. I hope kids everywhere will stop and listen to what all of the stars and just regular people are saying about this topic. It is such a sad thing that is happening to these young kids and I hope these messages will open up their eyes and stop them from passing judgment on other people no matter what their race, color, or sexuality is!

Charan Surdhar's book about the fairy Heba has helped my daughter to cope with the bullying she was victim of. I did take her out of school, she is homeschooling now, which in a way is sad because the bullies are still with their friends and my daughter had to "flee". I used the book "Heba the Ho'oponoponoist" for her to start building up her self-esteem and confidence, and I am happy to say that she has made huge progress in the last few months. She is singing again, and she is a happy girl again. It is so painful for a mother so see her child suffer. Bullying is one of the few things in this world that can really make me angry. You can find more information about the Heba book at www.hebathehoop.com. (I bought it from Amazon).
Ellen and Madonna, thank you both so much for talking about this subject. It feels good not to be the only one who seems to feel that it is horrible and devastating for a too big part of our future generation adults.

Hello Ellen, Madonna and everyone,
I'm Mary Strable from St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Please go to www.facebook.com/youandijustthesame This will explain my sincere and impactful efforts to end bullying now. Then please contact Ellen and strongly encourage her to have me on her show as soon as possible to tell my story nation wide. I am a mom and not a celebrity so it is extremely difficult to be heard on my own. I need Ellen, Madonna and everyone. You won't be disappointed, I promise. Thank you.

Everything Madonna has said is presented in my book in an interactive story that teaches children (and adults) exactly what Madonna and Ellen stand for here about bullying.
Here in this interactive story, I have written about a girl who was bullied in school, and how a Hawaiian fairy, Heba, teaches her how we are all connected, and that by allowing ourselves to understand this and forgive, we feel happier within ourselves, allowing the outside to shift too. Heba, shows her the power of forgiveness and oneness, using the ancient Hawaiian healing technique, Ho'oponopono. The book is called Heba the Ho'oponoponoist. You can find more information about it here www.hebathehoop.com.

I have written this book specifically for the purposes of bullying, and as Madonna has said, bullying happens on many levels, and this book presents a tool, that empowers the reader in a way that is very powerful, allowing the reader, whether children or adults to heal themselves, and one by one we can help heal the world.

I had to share this here, as I feel very passionate about this topic too, and rather then just talking about it, let's do something about it, and I feel that that is what this book does. Maybe we can have a world where children are helping one another to discover their own power.

Check out her live gigs and how she bullies her audience? Yet, another 'reinvention'. She's such a fake.

God bless all the different pebbles on this beach called life.

madonna is the closest thing i have to religion.
she has always excepted everyone- all types of people- not just some. god bless madonna for giving me a reason to live!

Wow Madonna, you are such an amazing woman, hero to so many young people! As you said it's the land of the free and yet no tolerence of bullying and so much going on? too many young people dying as a result of this. My son 10 yrs old is going thru this, for too long the school chooses not to see it or deal with it, sad to see how kids can be so mean. I too have had many talks with my son, but it breaks my heart to know how kids can treat others! These kids are people too with feelings, dreams, and so much more that don't deserve to live like this. I hope we can stand together to stop bullying.

Amen! Madonna nailed it! "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". This is the "Golden Rule". As a teenager I was bullied all through school, and I was a lot like Madonna. I was a cheerleader, but I wasn't part of the in crowd. There was a time when I thought I couldn't take it anymore, and Madonna saved my life. I graduated High Scool in 1989 and her album "Like A Prayer" helped me get through that horrible time in my life. "Express Yourself", "Cherish", and even "Oh Father". I felt that she was singing about me. In 1990 I drove from Salt Lake City, Utah to Oakland, California to see her in concert during her Blonde Ambition World Tour. I will never forget that day. When I got to the Arena the day of the concert and found my seats they were behind the stage. I was so bummed, but after a few minutes it didn't matter because I was there and she was there too. 15 minutes later this man approached me and handed me 2 tickets and told me that i was sitting in the wrong seats. I was confused. Then he said "Madonna would like you to have these tickets." They were front row. It was like a dream. Then when the show started and Madonna was inches from me, she even winked at me a couple of times, Well, I have been a die hard fan ever since. After that concert I have never let anyone bully me ever again. Thank you Madonna for speaking out about Bullying, and thank you for mentioning the "Golden Rule". I truly believe that this rule has been forgotten and we as Adults, Parents, Teachers, and Celebrities, need to continue to teach this rule to the Young Adults, our Children, Students, and Fans. It really is what it's all about. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Thank you everyone who are speaking out about bullying and making a difference. You defintely made a difference in my life! With love, Garland

Thank you Madonna! Thank you Ellen! Your words and your piece in all of this makes the world a better place to live in.

let me tell you....growing up I was bullied on a daily basis....yelled at...laughed at...pushed...hurt...depressed really really reallly sad.....what kept me going?

seeing MADONNA ...watching her fight the critics...not care what they were saying....keep going....constantly being the best! I will always love her for that!! forever.

I LOVE YOU MADONNA! and thank you!

This interview just reminded me why i've been a Madonna fan since i was 13. people ask me Madonna means so much to me, this interview says it all. she is just awesome. when i was 13 and saw her Lucky Star video clip, i felt that she was talking to me. telling me that i was a star. that it is ok to be me and to like me. Because of Madonna I am the person I am today. confident and proud. and here she is again doing it, reminding people that they are so special just the way they are and encouraging others to feel that way too.
Love u forever Madonna.
Ellen thank you so much for this interview. will also be forever grateful if u could interview Crystal Chappell & Kim Turrisi about all they're doing to stop bullying.
lots of love Moni

Pam, I don't think Madonna was really literally comparing bullying to lynching of blacks or the extermination of Jews. I think what she meant was that like lynching & the Holocaust, most people are just ignoring this problem like it's not a problem. How many teen-agers have to die before it's considered a problem? And she's right...it is unfathomable that this is happening in the most advanced and democratic country in the world. This should be unacceptable to every American. Bravo to Madonna & Ellen...it was really an intelligent, heartfelt & honest discussion of a very important issue.
