Ellen's Newest Artist: Tom Andrews

Ellen is excited to welcome 17-year-old Tom Andrews from Exmouth, UK to her eleveneleven record label! Tom has shown an unbelievable talent for music. At age 13, he saw an ad for a singing competition and entered on a whim. He had no previous experience, but his natural skill impressed the judge, who asked Tom to perform during the finals. The experience changed his life -- Tom says that was the moment he discovered his passion.

Since that day, Tom has been working hard to develop his talent, studying at the Academy of Music & Sound as well as performing at every chance he could. His parents, John & Lynn, have unconditionally supported him. They even left their jobs to make sure he'd have their full attention. Tom certainly isn't taking this for granted. He says that knowing they believe in him is an amazing feeling, and he hopes that in the future he will be able to support them so they never have to work again.

Tom has been active with his YouTube account and has created videos of his multiple covers and original songs. You can see them right here. During his first visit with Ellen, he performed the song, "It's a Man's Man's Man's World." That's when Ellen knew he'd be perfect for her label.

Since his first appearance, Tom has been busy creating an album -- and this May, he released his debut single; a song he wrote personally called, "Carry Me On." It's now available on iTunes, and he stopped by to perform it for Ellen -- watch right here.

Check out the you tube video with Becky Kelley singing Where's the Line to See Jesus? I don't know what your beliefs are but just watch it for yourself. I'm not asking you to play it on tv, even though that would be spectacular. This is the most awesome video I've seen! I love how you help so many people. Merry Christmas and God bless. Anna

Ellen this Friday Sept 16, 2011 will be 1 yr that you introduced and signed Tom Andrews to your record label. Since then he has released his single "Carry Me On " on Itunes !! We are patiently waiting to hear alot more on this very talented singer/songwriter !! Tom is a very unique individual and we his fans /supporters adore him !! from the first show you invited Tom Andrews to your show i was hooked. i think he has a great voice, amamzing lyrics and specially a great heart. he shares with his fans everything. and hope he is able to release his album soon. waiting for it! already got the single.

What an inspiration you are to so many, Ellen, especially to those of us who feel like the underdog. Thanks! Starting your own record label must be an exciting and daunting undertaking; but we know you and your new artists will be outstanding. Comment on Tom Andrews: as Randy would say, "Just keepin' it real"...a little pitchy in several spots. He could really benefit from some vocal coaching like this year's AI contestants have received from guest artists. I'm not a huge fan of all things Gaga, but she is an amazing musician, and look what a difference she made in each contestant's performance!

You go girl! You and your show inspire me to keep dancing!

Can't wait to see Tom Andrews and Karell she is one of 2 lucky winners to see Tom on Ellen..Karell has been a HUGE supporter and we are all so very happy for her.. I'll be watching the webcams tomorrow Tuesday to try to get a glimpse of Tom Andrews and Karell !! FYI : Karell is also a HUGE Johnny Depp fan.. hint hint Ellen .. You are the dream maker : )

Hola Ellen and staff.. I was soo excited this morning when you spoke of Tom and announced he will be on the show one week from today, May 18th, 2011..I actually missed the interview with Taylor Swift, but since I am in a area where I get to watch 3 times during the day..guess what I'm watching at 3 and 4 again today ? The Ellen Show !!! ♥♥♥ Can't wait til next week to see Tom on the show been waitin since Sept to see him again : )

i found it..i love you ellen n thanks for the clue.l've been tryiny this for about a week or two now.i keep praying asking God to show me the way to found it n he did help me for real.i love your show so much n i love watchin your show on my computure has well,by going to your website all the time no matter where i am,most of the times i will download about 6 or 7 video's to watch before i go to sleep @ night.i can watch n watch n watch..you're the best n you always put smile on my face.Tom Andrew wearing (america flag t-shirt n jeans)with ellen holding him smilling on one of the pictures.i remember the day he was singing on your show,is good only 16years wow.ill be very happy if i win the car ellen.have a nice day.
