great pic : ) and very amusing comments! lol...OH... and anonymous you must be lost, but so sorry for your loss.
It is a duck. The poor child her feet aren't even touching the ground. Yes, it does hurt when they bite! I agree with duck for dinner.
I am not sure it is real,it just does not look right.I raise ducks and have raised geese. That is a pekin duck. There is no doubt that a goose can chase you.If the photo is real, possibly it has young or is sitting on eggs. That makes them more aggressive.
Terrie Cozart Please tell me what I am suppose to do when the love of my life passes away after 36 years of marriage & 7 years of dating We have 2 kids and 1 grandchild & two step grandchildern if things keep I will lose my house & I will not ask the kids for help
Im raised on a farm i still live on nit to this day that is soooooo a goose we have some just like it jeeze!!!!!!!!!duuu!!!!!and geese hurt like non other when you are bit!!!!!!!!
I think it IS A goose, a big, fat goose. There is one like it in our neighborhood pond and she's married to a Canada goose. I got near the babies and the daddy goose did run at me at an alarming speed and he made some scary honking sounds. I ran away, too.
Seen lots of kids chasing water fowl (there I covered the whole duck, goose, swan, etc. thing). Natually the tables may eventaully turn. As far as I know a peck on the butt never killed anyone. And if you don't like it, keep a safe distance away and don't feed the birds!
Hate to spoil everyone's fun, but this photo is not real. You can see that the girls figure was added in Photoshop.
