PSS. If women are done with their baby blankets and haven't found a home for them at a shelter or other source, please promote the idea to give them to the shelters. They are small enough to wash and every animal feels at ease and comforted by the blanket they cuddle themselves around in their time of stress in transition. I pick them up at the thrift stores for @$1-$3 each. The cats love the hand crochet baby blankets especially, but be careful with the yarn if it has fringe...make sure they are knotted well. Both cats and dogs love polartec fabric blankets. It is a great idea for those who knit to make blankets for the shelters or any girl scout group to take up a collection or create the popular knotted & tied fringed polartec blankets. These blankets provide warmth and a sense of a hug while not with a human. The scent of a human will give them comfort too. I do what we can, but this idea could travel across America with your show's reach into the communities. Love Laurie

I just have to say that I just watched your video about the guy (think his name is Tom doh?) who warms your audience up before Ellen comes out. Anyways...I'm grateful that little Barbara is doing really well.That's great news. But why I am writting is that it kind of freaked me out..because my name is Barbara, I was born on February 26th..and as well when Ellen gave them 1000.00 bucks and told them to put it on 11..well 11 is my lucky number, it was my basketball number and I always play it in lotteries etc. So anyways I just thought i'd tell you that...I think that little girl is going to have a fabulous life. I was born the year of the tiger and I am not sure if this year is the year of the tiger or not, but if it is that would be more freaky.
