I am a huge fan and have been since I saw your first appearance on Johnny Carson. My kids and I always watch your show and we were so excited to see your season premiere today. But after your monologue I turned off the show. I was so disappointed in all the sexual references. You don't usually resort to off color remarks in order to get laughs.
You are truly one of the funniest people on the planet and I have always appreciated that you didn't need shock value or dirty comments to make people laugh. The content of your monologue was inappropriate and unnecessary. I will not give up on you. I am still a fan, but please don't go down the easy road of using sexual innuendos to get people to laugh. You are too good for that.
Still a fan, but sure would like to watch your show with my kids.

My wife is super p-o'ed because the local channel here in San Antonio (KENS) decided to air tennis instead of your season 8 premiere. Epic fail on their part. congratulations on another season. I cannot seem to find out what channel or time though on your website, just the date of September 13, 2010.
I want to relate a story that happened this summer in Portland Oregon. I was riding the bus home from downtown and it was very crowded. There was a man on the bus who told everyone he was going home to watch Ellen Degeneres. He must have announced this to everyone on the bus at least 10 times. It was very funny and I just wanted to share this with you. This was around the end of July of this year, 2010.
Thank you for bringing such joy into my home. I wrote to you recently. I wrote that I started to watch shows other than yours last October as I don't like it when you scare people, and hope you do not do that anymore. I think once you said Portia, your partner does not like to have people jump up and scare her. Ellen, you do not need to do that as you are so funny and kind anyway.

I watch you from Spain, an small and beatiful city from the north close to France called San Sebastian we do not have unfortunatly your show on tv so I have to watch it on your web or youtube so I have to wait until september 14Th different time table jeje when you start the program here is already tuesday. Anyway You are so great so fanny, but the most important thing you look so kind. It is nice to know that such a lovely people is in this world.
I have now been unemployed a number of instances previously, as a matter of fact I am unemployed right now. It is in no way the pipe dream getaway which a lot of people perceives it is, as a mater of fact it all is extremely depressing. I don't fully understand if I am alowed to be able to place a Web address in this specific comenting field however , this guys unemployment stuff is extremely insightful. What can I say except "Thank You, Ellen". I am a 62 year old gay woman, no partner, sadly to say, but okay. You make my day, each and every day. I only pray that you are half as nice off screen as you are on. I think you and Portia have recently celebrated your 2nd Wedding Anniversary. Please work hard at making it 20 years. You and Portia seem to be truly happy, and it is so liberating for us gays, when you include her openly in a story.

G'day Ellen and crew I enjoy your show you have wonderful guests and there is plenty of love, fun, and good vibes throughout every show.
My wife and I came across a young Australian lady singing to a moderate audience of about 10 people at a vineyard in Tasmania (state). Her soothing voice was like an angel and she wasn't dissapointed by the small crowd.
Her name is Coby Grant and I believe that one day she will be a star. If you google her name you will see what I am talking about.
