Ellen,
Please have Ben Cohen a soccer/football player on your show. He plays and lives in England. Look at his facebook page. He really appreciates his fans, strait and gay. He is soooooo handsome. You would really like him.

Love your show,

Charles

Hello ellen,i tryed writting this on tell your story but mine was too long so i figured id write it here. my name is gabrielle iam from vermont. iam 23 years old. where do i start.in may 2005 my grandfather who was only 63 passed due to lung an bone cancer, in may 2007 my uncle who was only 42 passed of lung an bone cancer. In October 2007 i was 21 and pregnant with my first child. at 37 weeks i found out i had stage 2 non hodgkins lymphomia. an i was in dying need of chemo therapy. i found out i had cancer on october 14th an had to have my son october 17th. my son was the first baby in 25 yrs born in the s.i.c.u. (sergical intensive care unit) in a hospital 3 hours away form our home. at the time of my delivery i had fluid in my heart cavity, the bottom half of my lungs started collapsing, an my kindeys started to shut down. an hour after i had my son they did a second biopsy of my neck because the first one that my hospital did it got lost. the nexy day i had to have a bone marrow aspration because they didn't know what type of cancer i had at first. an at that time they couldn't give me anything because my o2 was dropping so i had no pain meds. then an hour after that i had to have a spinal tap done. three days after i had my son i was put in the oncology ward where i started my first round of chemo. i stayed inthe hospial for 10 days after i had my son he was discharged a few days after he was born he is perfictly healthy. i did 6 months of chemo, an my second chemo they did a scan an said it was a 50% reduction in the main mass in my chest which was a 6 inch tumor when i was pregnant, also had a tumor in my neck. after my chemo i was in remission an to this day i still am thank god. but after chemo they had me do 25 rounds of radiation just to be on the safe side. i ended all my treatments in may 2008. they told me i had only a 30% chance of having anymore children, well when i finished my treatments i found out i was pregnant with TWINS. i was in an out of the hospital when i was pregnant for them because i started dialateing at 27 weeks. they wanted me to stay in the hospital until they babies where born. but i couldn't stand being 3 hours away from my son. so i kept signing myslef out. an get checked my my doctor here. see at the hospial where i live they don't deliver babies befor 36 weeks. its a small hospital. anyways i made it up to 34 weeks an 2 days at 5 centimeters dialated, the day they were born we were home an i had this funny feeling that the babies were comeing. i told my boyfriend that we needed to go to the hospial 3 hours away i just felt a lil pain in my back. well we made it to my hospital an my doctor had just gotten home from vk 5 mins before he got the call that i was there. an my pediatrison had sent emails like an hour before to all that where on staff that weekend to give them a heads up that i was in town, even though i wasn't suppose to be. well anyways we got the the hospital cuz my boyfriend said he wasn't driving 3 hours with me breathing the way i was. we got there an i was 8 centimeters dialated. they wheeled me down to the O.R. just in case, an see my hospital don't like to delvier twins exspecaily when they are premees. there was no time for drugs, my daughter was born at 7pm an she was 3pounds 10.2oz,17inches long. an my son was born at 740pm but he was breach. his head was stuck for 10 mins they thought they'd have to cut me opean but they didn't. he was 4pounds 1oz,18 inches long. after he came out i started to hemrage. the next morning i had to have 2 bags of blood, which wasn't my first time having a blood transfusion, i had to have one after my first son.The twins were shipped to the hospital 3 hours away an had to be in the nicu for a week then they were shipped back to our hospial an had to stay for 2 weeks. both hospitals the one 3 hours away an the one thats in our town. has had the most complacatied deliverys from me. my doctor that delivered the twins actually delivered my boyfriend (father to our children) hes been doing this for well over 35 yrs probly...an he said i was the most complacted delivery hes ever had.thank god i had him that day. i love your show. an try to watch it as much as i can. thank you for all the laughs. but i wanted to share my story with you. i was on the doctors 2 yrs ago about my story. an i have heard there were more ppl that wanted to hear more of my story. i would love to give ppl hope, mothers new mothers that are going threw this. thank your for takeing your time reading this. i know its so long but thought id tell you my story. gabrielle

If you haven't visited Katie Simms' blog:
www.365daysofdearellen.com you're in for a treat. Katie has been blogging since her 29th birthday, to get tickets to see Ellen by her 30th birthday in October. Her blogs are so intriguing, fun, insightful, silly and serious........and she has added a "cause" to her trip out from CT. Katie is a RN Midwife and is getting dontation pledges for the miles she drives out, 3000 miles for MOthers on the Crowdrise website. The money she raises is for better pre and post natal care for mothers in impoverished countries. Any small amount will do, even $1.00. She has raised over $700 so far and climbing! Ellen, please check her out. She even has a fun dance video in your honor!

ROFL! I knew HCJ could sing but I had no idea he had such a sense of humor. Weird to see Ellen as the straight man role when she's usually the one delivering the zingers. She handles it so well, which made the whole interview even more funny. That sidelong "are you out of your mind?" look of hers is the best!

Hi Ellen! I just had to leave a comment on your show with Harry Connick, Jr. I just love him! He is so incredibley funny, and the two of you together are amazing. Please, please keep having him back as a guest! Laissez les bons temps roulez!

Hi Ellen,
Just wanted to thank you for what your show does for people everyday. Especially for what you've done for my fiance and I today! :) After receiving some disappointing news and feeling sorry for ourselves, we decided we needed to just pick ourselves up and watch something funny, and my fiance said "Let's watch Ellen" and boy we are glad we did! You and Harry Conick Jr. were hilarious and you've completely made our day, in fact, our week!! We always watch your show up here in Canada, but we usually record it all week and then catch up on the weekend. So we're really glad we watched the show live today!
In reading through some of the comments left on here today, we see we are not the only one whose lives you've brought a little bit of joy to today. And, when we put it all in perspective, our defeat today is nothing compared to someone who is fighting for their life (re: Needed a giggle), nonetheless, what we are trying to say is THANK YOU for making our day better!
And "Needed a giggle", you are in our prayers. Keep fighting!

My name is Kristine Lambie. i love your show. as i love your comedic style. you crack me up.Im writing cuz im desperate for someone to hear me.I have just about given up.My life has been filled with loss , pain , affliction. Its one thing after another. It would blow you away to sit with me and tell you what i have gone through. I wonder if God even cares.I want help so bad and cant get it.I have tried and I keep running into walls.I have to force myself into getting out of bed. Let me Ellen give you a brief discription as to my life. If I tell all and details of what I have had to live through, it would take a book. I dont type well at all. As ive taken 10 minutes to write this little bit. Im smart ,believe or not. Typing however is my weak point. My life ,.I lost every child I ever had. I have undergone many surgeries including major brain surgery in the base of my brain. The brain stem.I went to the surgeons , and another has popped up. There has bveen little support my way even with friends and family ,because they cant deal with the bad things that happen to me. But one man and even he is baffled. Im at the end of my rope and still I am tryting to reach out. I thought about you. I tried contacting media/oprah , and I never heard back. I was crushed. please atleast get in touch with me some how. I really look foward to speaking with you. Sincerely Yours Kristine Lambie

I'm in week 5 of cancer treatments. Must admit that I've slept through a few lately even though she's one of my favorites. Today, in fact all week, had been really struggling with the effects of chemo and radiation. At my worst, crying at least four times a day. But today for some reason I caught the show. I'm so glad I did. From Ellen's opening comments about living each day as if it might be first/last to Harry's super funny comments and his great memory walk down memory lane with his music. Oh middle school choir!!! Thanks Ellen for helping this cancer fighter find a reason to smile!!!

I never knew Harry Connick Jr. was SOOO FUNNY!!! I always knew he was a hottie and very talented, but today I crying because I couldn't stop laughing!!!!

Wow--people write the most insane things on this site. Hey Annoyed...RELAX. It must not be very fun to be living your life if THAT offends you.

Hey ellen,I love your show and I am a big fan love you

Hey ellen,I love your show and I am a big fan love you

No one should joke about hitting anyone, especially when it's a middle aged man "joking" about hitting a young girl.

OMG!!! Harry Connick jr. is so friggin funny! What a great interview with Ellen! Loved it!

Hey Ellen I just want to comment on the new president Obama's idea for the new 34 billion dollar unemployment benefit or whatever.. I think instead of doin that he should use the 34 billion dollars to pay unemployeed ppl to Clean up the Oil spill wouldnt that make alot more sense..? Isnt the oil spill causing unemployment I mean really..
