And you et an account on Twitter?

Ellen, I wanted to tell you how much I think you are a wonderful humanbeing. You are the highlight of my day, I know that laughter is the best medicine and all I have to do is turn you on and for one hour I dont have to think of my problems. About 10 years I fell and broke my hip, found out I had Lupus amoung other health problem. So I had to loose my house, loose my car move in with my parents, My daughter had to move in with her aunt in Florida because her father, my x-husband killed his 2nd wife (please do not repeat this to anyone for my daughters sake). I now only get to see my daughter maybe once if I am lucky. It hurts even more now since she just got married and had her first baby Riley Pearl My first grandbaby (I am so proud) I wish I could give her the world on a silver platter. But going back to school is not in the picture since i cant afford a car. I was able to move out but had to move about an hour from my moms to afford an apartmet. But I have to depend on friends to take me to the store and doctors. Its bad not being able to get in a car and go to my moms since she seems to have been in and out of the hospital lately. My Dad passed almost 2yrs this august. I was diagnosed as disabled becaused of all the medical problems i have. But on the days I feel good I would love to spend my time at the shelter for animals. And move to a place where I can have a dog, where I would get one from the shelter or a rescue, I love animals and they are such great to have if you live by yourself. I could also see my mom more often which is so important, I found that out after my dad passed. I do go over there when my sister or when a friend can take me, I will stay for a couple of weeks, but I have to go back home to take care of bills and other household tasks. Before my fall and breaking my hip, I was working for an ob/gyn as a med. Asst. and I drew blood, among other things. I was going to go back to get my nursing degree, but all went to a halt and there are to many days that I sit and cry, because I dont understand why everything I love and planned for the future was just like a dream and i woke up and had to try to make new plans. But everytime I think of a new road the roadblock comes up. Thankyou for being my listening board and thankyou so much for making me laugh when I need it which seems to be more then I realize. Before I go to bed I thank God for at least one thing he gave me that day, I always thank him for 2 you are always one and then one other. Thanks Ellen again for always being there and not even knowing your there. If you ever get a couple of tickets to see your show I would love to see your show, You have know idea how much it would mean to me. love you, your great June, from Johnsburg,Il

DURING THIS LAST YEAR MY FAMILY AND I WENT THROUGH ALLOT FINANCIALLY, WE LOST OUR HOME AND WITH IT BEING VERY STRESSFUL JUST WATCHING YOUR SHOW MAKES MY HUSBAND MY 4 CHILDREN AND I FIND THAT REASON TO LAUGH, AND LOOK AT THINGS IN A DIFFERENT WAY. YOUR SHOW HAS BECOME OUR FAMILY SHOW, MY SON 14 YEARS OLD, HAS A SENSE OF HUMOR AS YOU DO,WHICH MAKES ANY THING THAT COMES OUR WAY EASIER TO GO THROUGH. YOU AND YOUR SHOW ARE A GREAT ROLL MODEL FOR CHILDREN/ADULTS TO JUST BE YOURSELF AND WHAT EVER COMES YOUR WAY, THERE IS ALWAYS A DIFFERENT WAY TO LOOK AT THINGS AND NOT LET THEM GET YOU DOWN. ANYWAY, WE LOVE YOUR SHOW AND THANKS FOR BEING YOU!

Hey there Ellen,
I'm from Papua New Guinea and I love watching your show while spending time with my two kids. I admire you for the tremendous work you have done to assist women especially struggling single mums and bringing a whole lot of meaning to their lives. It would be a blessing and a dream come true if I were to be part of your show..

God Bless You

Mary

Dear Ellen,

Do you remember the song with the lyrics "all I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth?" What I want for Christmas is to visit my only grandchild in Germany while my son serves his third tour (2 in Iraq and now in Afghanistan).

My grandson's name is Christopher, named after his uncle, my youngest son, Christopher. I met him for the first time in May and was only able to spend less than a day with him. He is now 5 1/2 months old and just adorable.

Thank you for listening.

Marie

Just wanted to comment on the comment about buying economical vehicles. The blurb over the car said it got 36 mpg.

If that's true...wow1!!!

Thanks, Ellen, I cried. Single mom here and it meant the world to see a hand reaching out to a fellow mom.

You so rock!!

Pati

hey ellen my name is jamie, im 18 years old and currently living with my father and brother. My mom was diagnosed with cancer when i was just 7. She past away it was a total nightmare and a big lost. From then on it has been a complete struggle. My dad does everything in his power to make me and my brother happy. He never has nothing to himself except his car which is like 30 years old and all messed up its literally about to break down any moment. My dad is such a strong loving person. In the past 5 years thats when things really started getting rough. My dad had 3 heartattacks. It was a really scary moment in my life just knowing i could be losing my father the only person i have to look up to and talk too going threw that pain again is heartbreaking. I Would feel lost without him! ....My dad cant even make ends meet every month. Its really hurts me to see my dad go threw such a struggle and always going crazy about where hes gonna get the extra money to make ends meet. Im juss nervous that by the time im finish school and become something it will be a lil to late to give my dad something in return to what he gave me and my brother. ellen thanks if you could help and understand what im going thru love ya !

Ellen,
I just wanted you to know that what you do to help People is so wonderful, I watch your show every day and I have tears in my eyes as I watch the people whom you help, they are so grateful and knowing there are people like you to help them I know there life will be so much easier and a new start. God Bless You ELLEN!!!

Ellen,
I just have to say that it is fantastic what your show does for people with the cars and financial assistance. It brings tears to my eyes, everytime.

I think its great you give items away to help out the less fortunate, but why such big vehicles. Have you considered its time to start giving away economical vehicles. Doesn't make sense that a viewer is having financial problems, and you give them a tank which costs them +++ dollars to fill up.
