Hi Ellen! First I want to tell you how much I love you and your show. No matter how hard of a day I have 3 o'clock comes around and it's a full hour of smiles. My 18 month old son loves watching you dance. He could be mid tantrum and he hears your voice and he immediately stops and watches. I just want you to know that you are truly an angel. I see you help everyone and it reminds me to keep my head up. January 09 our boys were born. They were twins and one passed away right after birth. Since then my whole world has been turned upside down. I have severe depression and I haven't been able to go back to work for fear of something happening to my other little boy. He is my world. Now my fiance and I have run into financial problems. Our car got repo'd and my sweet fiance has been working his butt off to take care of me and the kids. We try so hard to get caught up but every time we do something else comes up. I am a Medical Assistant and have been trying so hard to find a job since we've become so behind. I just want you to know that I watch your show and it gives me hope and it's amazing to know there are still caring people out there. God bless you and I pray for all others struggling as we are. I love you and your show, and we love your momma she is just adorable.

My name is Sharon Sipe. I too watch your show everyday and am amazed by the good things you do for people in need. I have been told often that "if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all". I totally believe this. I am currently enroll in school, but my car is falling apart. I have been unemployed since October 2008. I am so discouraged in the job market, since for the past 20 months I have not been able to find one. Today, I did however get a part-time position. The problem is that I have to have a good running vehicle. I live in La Quinta, CA which is east of Palm Springs. I have no a/c and don't do well with the heat. I've seen you help so many people and am asking for some help. I don't normally do something like this, but I am in dire straits. Unemployment was cut off on June 12, 2010 and I have had no income since then. My room mate has tried to keep me from missing school but with rent and all the bills, he isn't able to keep helping me. I pay $520 in rent per month, which come August I don't know how I'm going to cover that, my car needs to be registered, and of course it needs help. If there is anything that you can help me with, it would be extremely appreciated. I love watching your show, you are a great inspiration. God Bless You!!!!!

I think that Ellen does wonderful giveaways to deserving people and it shows. My co-workers are always watching Ellen on our afternoon break and I always think, what if that could be me, but I'm not so lucky. I on the other hand have tried to win in drawings and I am on the internet to search for giveaways. I have been trying to win the lottery and Publishers Clearing House, my husband lost his job back on our daughter's Birthday in February and have since not been able to find a job, his unemployment has stopped and I work a full time and part time job to support my family of 4. I don't know what is going to happen, my daughter recently made it for high school cheerleader and I cannot afford to put my 19 year old son through college I am not sure if I will be able to afford it or anything else, our mortgage is due and I am not sure that we will be able to pay that, much less groceries. Our bills are piling up and we will just have to settle for Bankruptcy. But I do have faith in the lord and I know there is a plan for us, I just thought I'd share my story and maybe someone will be able to share that there are a lot of us out there praying for everyone's struggles to go away...Ellen you are a blessing to many, keep it up.
