Hey Ellen:
I watched the interview with Adam Lambert and then I watched the performance from the American Music Awards. What the heck is everyone squaking about? I don't get it! Sexuality in our society is announced everywhere for our kids to see and something that seems to be on the mainstream of absolute acceptance and yet we are taking an amazing performance from an amazing performer and turning it into something ugly. I have to agree with prior comments about Madonna 20 yrs. ago and the videos and performances that she provided for us then. She took a lot of rap for many things that she did but she stuck to her guns and did what she felt was right for her. Adam you need to do what is best for you although everyone may not agree...you are, I think one of the most amazing performers ever seen past or present on idol and your career will stay strong as long as you stay true to yourself. Cheers to both you and Ellen. Love you both.

I recorded your show with Adam Lambert and watched after work. I am a 53 year old "country girl", but Adam won my heart with his Tracks of My Tears idol performance. I bought his CD, the first CD I have bought since 1993 when Conway Twitty died. I did mention I was a country girl? I play Adam in my car and never listen to the radio anymore. I especially love Aftermath. I hope Adam will be around for a long, long time. I am grateful that you have him on your show, and I can't wait for the next album! Please use any influence you have to persuade him to record Tracks the way he did it on Idol. I listened to the studio version on line, and it does NOT have the same impact. Please!

I love how you always try to see the good in people and you gave him a chance to say his peace about his performance at the AMA's. Although I don't think he had any reason to explain himself or regret it. Just like everyone else is mentioning with Britney and Madonna. It's okay for them but not for him, that's crazy he is one AMAZING artist and I feel for him that he has to have people mad at him and feeling disrespected by him. He was just being himself , being in the moment and having a great time on stage what else can you ask for an artist to do. People are acting like they were having sex on the stage and that wasn't the case.

Dear Ellen,I am just starting to learn how to use this computer but I knew one of the very first things I had to learn how to do was drop you a note from Maine to let you know all the love and laughs that you bring to this small town. You have opened up communication between my straight and gay friends that has brought us closer than ever. Our day started over texts with who is on the show and what you are wearing haha! Weird I know but its small town USA. My son is being deployed to Iraq on Sept 8th and we're having a hard time financing his trip home but we are resourceful people and come hell or high water we will see him before he goes. Please do a show on military moms whose young sons are deployed. I would love to be there. It's very difficult and we need to support each other through this. Thanks for the laughs. Love, Leah
Really... we dis like him? Not me I like his music and if we as a society dislike his actions then we should have dislike Brittney and Madonna in there lip lock on stage. Yet No the "man" likes this a put it in the papers and plasters it all over the T.V.
