The amazing Adam Lambert stopped by today and chatted with Ellen about the latest on "Idol." He shared his thoughts on being a mentor this season, and what the transition from the show to a career is like, and how he responds to controversy. He also talked about his photo shoot for People Magazine's Most Beautiful People list!
Today Ellen welcomed neighbors Lesli Bills and Bill Crousser from Nashville to tell their unbelievable story. During the terrible flood, Lesli's house caught fire and Bill came to rescue her and her dogs -- just in the nick of time. Of course, Ellen couldn't let them leave without helping them out with a big gift!
Today Ellen surprised Lesli Bills and Bill Crousser with a brand new GMC Terrain and GMC Sierra. All month long, Ellen has been giving deserving people new Terrains, thanks to our friends at GMC. They've been having fun creating Terrain's World, a place where you can explore the features of the 2010 GMC Terrain with fun videos like this one. Ellen surprised Lesli Bills and Bill Crousser with amazing gifts today, including a brand new GMC vehicle for each of them. After the show, the two recorded this backstage message to thank her.

Today Ellen heard the amazing story of Nashville hero Bill Crousser. who rescued his neighbor Lesli Bills from her burning house right before it exploded. Since Nashville was flooded, Bill was only able to rescue Lesli on his jet ski, but unfortunately, it was destroyed. Sea-Doo heard about that and gave him a Sea-Doo watercraft. It's the only watercraft in the world with a brake that adds a new level of safety. Learn more about Sea-Doo here.
When Lesli was evacuated, she only had a chance to grab one thing. Rather than her purse, she grabbed dog food to make sure her pets would be okay. Ellen knows how important it is to take care of pets, so she gave Lesli a year's supply of her Halo pet food. Find out more about Halo here.
