Dear Ellen and Mellisa . I went to beauty school with melissas sister jennifer and I remember when melissa came into the beauty school and brought her sister a beautiful car i never forgot that act of sisterly love and being from Leavenworth Ks . Melissa has always had a special place in my heart for the love she gave to others . God bless you Melissa and may he keep you and your family and children . I will keep you in my prayers . I lost my mother on april 30 I had to go help my brother lay her to rest it took all i had but we did it rest of the family fighting over insurence policys we took our last to pay for it . so hug your mothers tight and give them a big kiss for me and melissa tell jen hi for me and i love and miss her may god bless you all love sherry cummings

hello we love your show i started watching you a lot when i was going through chemo you made me laugh with all of the stunts you pull i see you do all these wonderful things for people i am not one to ask for help but when i was diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma i know it was so hard for my children they have been so strong and its been tough but i just wanted to know if you could do something special for them they have not had a lot of fun dealing with this mahaley is 13 and lakota is 11 i just thought if they got like a cool card or letter from ellen it would make them feel special thanks for making me laugh jennifer
I love melissa etheridge, she is a great singer, very emotional, she is a cancer survivor and so is my son, who lost his right leg to bone cancer but he is ok.

I like the raspy vocals..and passion/feeling. That is what I like about Melissa.... she's not fearful!.. she just belts it!
I haven't had any health scares but I often sometimes think about not and those that do and how fortunate I am and what they would do if they had my health and what I'm not doing and it makes me think how unfair if I'm not out there enjoying every day making an effort to go out and enjoy life rather than just staying home on my time off... thinking I should be doing something instead of just living to go to work and pay bills... what kind of life is that? So I think about that sometimes and think sometimes I waist my life... in a way. I mean someone that has cancer would love to be tired because of work and if they were tired from work they would still work through it and go out and do something fun like take a hike... enjoy outside of work fun stuff... live every minute.. instead of sleeping it away... they would go out and live fully. live fearless!!!! Fearless love!!!! Brilliant!!! Ever since hearing that from Melissa... I think... man.. hear I am healthy .... I shouldn't be so waistful.
