Today Ellen welcomed Lin Yu Chun all the way from Taipei, Taiwan. He competed on a Taiwanese talent show, and the video has been viewed millions of times. He chatted with Ellen about the experience and gave an unbelievable performance of "I Will Always Love You."
I just watched Lin's rendition of "I Will Always Love You" and I must say his voice is amazing. I actually shed a tear when listening to him sing. He is truly blessed with a magnificent voice and his story is even more amazing. It just goes to show you how one can perservere through obstacles to reach stardom and then remain grounded through that success! I wish him only the best as he grows and matures in his career. I think he will be around for a very long time.
I say BRAVO Lin!! BRAVO!! And I say Bravo to ELLEn for bringing him to your show! You are AWESOME and what you do for your audience is awesome! I am a man and would love to come to a show one day!
God truly works in mysterious ways. He has a beautiful voice and I only pray for his success....May his faith guide him throughout his future and may he stay grounded at the same time. Thank you Ellen for having Lin on your show....
I have not been able to watch your showes this week This is the week my son is leaving for Iraq I have all of them recorded Hope I will be able to watch all of them next week He was off work the week before he left for Texas We got to visit with him at the airport last Friday night for about an hour He is leaving this Friday from Fort Benning GA We will not see him until he return from Iraq Please pray for him and his family that he will return home safe we love him so much

Ellen, I have been sick with pneumonia and missed that particular show. I saw the video and could not believe this young man. I have tears. He is wonderful!!! Thank God for Susan Boyle who inspired him to do what he did. I also loved his comment about the bullies. Loved it loved it.
His singing is beautiful, but his soul even outshines his talent. To rise above the hurt others caused him and know that success instead of violence is the best revenge.

I felt his passion in his voice on my computer...and there was a problem with the stream. This child caused my biker friend whom is into metal music jump up off his seat to see who was singing this song I was watching. That is powerful.

Just Amazing, the young man who sang Amazing Grace. That was our wedding Song when I entered the chapel. I played it again for my husband when he got home from work.
