I actually saw that episode of Family Feud! I never understood where they found the people to poll on this show! Yours isn't the only question that had ridiculous answers. For instance, on an earlier episode, they polled people on "things you pitch," and not one person said "a tent!" As for that man's answer about you not liking America, I thought it was sad. Maybe he confused you with a Dixie Chick or Madonna?
I support freedom of speech, but some people are so ignorant that they shouldn't be allowed to be on tv or post their comments. I love how you handled the family feud situation. I hate that people who are not your fans throw dirt at you but, love the fact they still follow your show and your every move. Ha,ha,ha. You know who you are!
Missed the show, but just happened upon Dish tonight. The title is a little misleading. I mean, I know Ellen loves the Earth, but I was kinda hoping I'd see the Woman on the Moon instead of the same old man. He's cute and all, but Ellen's way funnier and has a cuter wink!

I think you handled this very well. It is preposterous for someone to think because of different political views that someone does not love our country. (people have strong beliefs in the things they care about, and could care less and say nothing at the things they do not)
With that said I just want to add that I think It is hilarious that on dish network on channel 212 (east coast)they have "Ellen DeGeneres Loves Planet Earth" not only does she love America, and other countries, but she loves the ENTIRE PLANET. haha lmao I watch your show every morning so I am curious what you will say about this tomorrow. To funny to me. And to those who post and say you do not belong on American Idol. I strongly disagree... You are a great addition; they needed someone to come in and break the tension of the judges. They get so serious... its good to throw in a few laughs :)
hi Ellen, I just had an epiphany while watching your show today. I'm a fan of 'jerry and Esther hicks', and you lead the exact kind of life they are teaching their students to live!!!!!!! its just that its your second nature to be....HAPPY always no matter what,reaching and emphasising the good things around you,turning away or even making light of the bad things and that way you just focus more on laughter,happiness and DANCE!!! and always eagerly and excitedly looking forward to the good thing you know that are coming to you:) how beautiful is that!?! and amazingly you are doing it even without the knowledge of how well you are doing it:) I hope some day you stumble into 'jerry and Esther' see how beautiful is their message and get them on the show just to tease Esther a bit, coz she is as witty as you are:) it will be a great fun to watch LOL.
