Yesterday, Ellen showed a clip of "Family Feud" -- in which a man said Ellen doesn't love this country! We know that's not true, and so does Dish Network. They changed their listing to prove their point, and they sure made it!

Hey Ellen, my name is Ramanlal Vallabh and I'm from a small country called Tonga. If you look us up on the map we are a dot on the map. I have a radio station in our small island and I'm also the host for our breakfast show every morning Monday to Friday 6am to 10am. Everytime I fly to New Zealand I watch your show I think its the best. I saw the laugh, dance and conquer the world, when I saw that I just knew I had to conquer our small Island Tonga with your message to laugh and dance. I started today and I call It Ellen's message to the world. Ellen I hope you get to conquer the world by making everyone laugh and dance cause I think It's a positive message. It would be nice if one day I can get you to call into the radio station so I can put you on air so we can laugh and dance together with Tonga. You never know I might be able to teach you some new dances moves for your show hahaha. I love your show and I hope I will get your message out over here in our small island. Laugh, dance and conquer. Oh my name is Ramanlal Vallabh but on the radio it is Lala. If you want I can keep you updated and let you know that you have conquered Tonga.

Hi Ellen!
Yesterday when I was watching the show with Shemar Moore and heard of his bicycle accident, I was all too reminded of a similar experience I had several years ago. I decided to go for a bike ride along a 4-lane highway near my home at that time. After peddling uphill to get to the main road, I noticed that I didn't have my rearview mirror on my bike and I realized that I had also forgotten my helmet. Anyway, I went a few miles down the road and decided to turn back as I was to go to a ballgame with my husband and son. As I crossed the 4-lanes, I thought I heard a car. Impossible, as I'd just checked the road and could see no one in sight. I straightened out for a bit, then continued across. All I remember from that point was that something hit me in the back and the next thing I knew was that I was sitting in a ditch, my bicycle was on the bank above me, lots of people were around, and I was muddy and bloody. Long story short, someone had pulled out of a side road and come around the bend and hit me. Result - several broken ribs, punctured lung (which deflated), gash in my head, and lots of road rash on my shoulders and hand (for which I had surgery a couple of years later). Now comes the "funny" part. The local ambulance director at the time was also the county coroner. He recognized me (I was a teacher at the time), asked where my husband was, and went to tell him of my accident. Imagine my husband's surprise when the coroner walked up to him at the job and told him, "You're wife's been in an accident." He dropped his tool box and took off and knew I was OK when he got to the hospital and could hear me moaning - punctured lung, remember? Anyway, I know what it feels like to be told you shouldn't be here and that someone was watching over me. To Shemar Moore, I can truly relate!
Thanks for letting me share. I love your show and am just getting caught up on the ones I missed while on vacation. As Gladys would say, "Keep on keeping on!"

Hi Ellen!!!! Love you and your show! Just so you know this is the first year I have watched American Idol for this long! I usually don't get this into it, but every Tuesday and Wednesday night my husband and I cant wait tune in just to see what you will come up with next!Oh by the way, I watched your show today when I came home for lunch(like i do everyday) and this was under the information center on Dish "What will Ellen DeGeneres, the world's funniest and sexiest woman, do today"!!!!!! You're AWESOME Ellen!!
Hey Ellen! I watch your show everyday during my lunch to relieve stress from teaching science to 7th graders in Port Lavaca, Texas. Today after school I went home and was channel surfing on dish network and low and behold, your name is part of the Dish Earth Channel 212! It says "Ellen DeGeneres Loves Planet Earth! Way to go, Ellen! Thank for making me live, laugh, and teach!
I absolutely love Ellen and I have Dish Network and I think the two of you together are absolutely Hilarious! You go Ellen and you go Dish Network. And what's up with Family Feud? Everyone knows you love animals, the planet and your mother. Where do they get those polls any way???? You are the best Ellen...so keep up all the great work you do. There is lots of love for you in Colorado!!!!!
I really like what Dish Network has done...however now that they have changed the description has anyone that has the Dish Network DVR for the 500 had problems with Ellen being recorded? With the "new" description they are leaving off new at the end of the description for new shows and the Dish Network DVR is not picking up the new shows and recording them. It's working fine for my evening shows that I set to record new shows only.
Just wondering if this has messed anyone else up. I've missed about 4 of Ellen's shows because of this and I hope they can fix it - quickly!! I work during the day and I look forward to a daily dose of Ellen.
ellen, i watch your show every day except for the days i am working, which hasn't happened in 16 months.
Dear Ellen, I am a big fan of yours even though I don't get to see your show all the time but totally put my life on hold for the entire hour whenever I get the opportunity.
What really impresses me (almost more than your dancing talent) is that you're so close with your Mom. This has always been what I admire and respect you for the most. I just lost my mom the day before her 90th b-day and no matter how long they are with us, it's not easy to say goodbye. Cherish your time with her which I can tell by your mom/daughter chemistry, that you truly do. She is a beautiful lady and has definitly passed on her natural beauty, kindness, generosity, etc to her daughter. You really do make a difference, Ellen. My girlfriends and I hope to come to see your show when I turn 60 and one of them turns 50. Can't wait.

Hello Ellen,
Regarding yesterday's show when you placed the challenge out to COX Cable to change the information section to include your name on the American Idol page. My husband happens to be the VP of COX Cable Customer Care in New Orleans. As soon your show was over, I called my husband at work to tell him about your concerns. He made several calls and has people working to correct the issue. My husband knows that my son and I are two of your biggest fans!!! I turn 40 this summer and I'm hoping to bring my son to CA to see your show. We have a routine everyday after school to pop popcorn and watch your show together. We never miss a show! We love you Ellen! Thanks for all you do! Amy
