I am from Donegal Ireland and I have to totally agree with Tara from Cork.
Fair play to Crystal Swing for getting on your show Ellen but they are an embarrassment to us in Ireland and I hope that is not the image being portrayed to Americans of Ireland and it's people....
Sorry Carter, but I don't think Crystal Swing take themselves too seriously. Awful and all as they are, they are kind of funny too. As an exiled Corkman I particularly like how the group has promoted Cork....thank you Crystal Swing for doing what the Irish tourist board never does.

Oh my god, what an awful portrayal of cork!
It is so much more beautiful than that video lets on..where is the scenery, the beaches, the historic sites....please do not think it is just like the video. They should be ashamed!Dont even get me started on crystal swing, good singers but Show bands are NOT popular in Ireland and havnt been since the mid 1900s!!!!

Seeing the footage of the castle and the term Blarney stone... YES!!! THIS IS THE SAME CASTLE!!!! They showed people making the long trek up the many steps to the blarney stone to kiss it! Its a long trek! That is soooo cool!!!!! I feel like I've been there seeing the Travel Channel do a spiff on this castle! Maybe it was with Samantha Brown! She goes everywhere! :) Shows you where to sleep dine and view! Its like taking a vacation on your couch! WHen i get money... I too will venture to Ireland someday! I think it is beautiful.... and I would love to have some whiskey! :)
You know they say their is no better beer than Germany beer.... so I'd like to go to Germany someday as well! My brother was there and he had ... well.. over in Germany a beer mug is the size of a keg... they are big beer glasses over in Germany! I don't think I could drink that much! :) My brother he's 7 feet tall... army guy! He was stationed over there for awhile. But the army retired him before he got his benefits... cheap skates. :( But at least he is still alive and he got to experience the good beer in Germany! ... and he met his wife over in Germany!!! SO THERE YOU GO! :)

Hi all,
Im from near Cork in Ireland and I just watched Crystal Swing on Youtube when on Ellens Show.
I agree with comments on here. While they seem like nice people they are not really liked here in Ireland. Their music is showband music and as one poster mentioned no one bar our elderly relations listen to that music. Its really old fashioned. I agree they did well to get to the US to promote their singing but most people here do see them as an embarassment to Ireland. Sorry Crystal Swing!
