I could not believe Lilly got voted off, she is fantastic & that Tim is still there who cannot sing. There have been a few really bad choices. A few of the good ones are gone & ones that should be gone are still there.

Love you, your show and everything you do for others. I missed the info on being able to download Idol performances on your show until Lilly Scott's 'Lullaby of Birdland' was no longer available on iTunes. Is there any way to can acquire it now?...Happy to pay...she is AMAZING! Looking forward to her 1st album and can't believe some smart producer will wait too long to sign her.

use that "save" on Lilly. There are only a couple of the idols this year that deserve to be saved and they won't be voted off...so use it to SAVE LILLY cause as anyone who watches Idol knows, they need her talent back on that show. In fact, they need her for the stage show. There is not enough talent to draw me into buying a ticket w/o her. PS, you are a GREAT addition to Idol. Funny, in touch, and honest.
This past week you have added to American Idol the Ellen we all have been waiting for....your fun comments and ellen personality! I kept telling my family you were just feeling your way at first and then this past week you added your humor along with you good critisms (spelled wrong?) Keep up the good work and know my family thinks you really add to the IDOL! By the way, I am a 71 year old wife of 52+ years and Mother of 4, gmama of 12 and great gmama of 2 with 2 more on the way! I voted for Lilly4 times.....my husband I I thought the same thing, that she would be fine and wouldn't need the votes! We were both SHOCKED when he said her name! I am for sure a fan and will buy her album..........she will go far any way!

Just wanted to tell you I think you have made AI this year! You are sweet and considerate but at the same time you are honest without being cruel. I can tell a lot of the kids really listen to what you say because they can relate to you. You add a perfect amount of humor to the show. Keep up the good work!!!

I'm there too & we are 1 year behind on Diva. I keep up to date on the show on Ellen's website. It's very fragmebnted but at least you can see some of it.There is plenty on youtube too.Give it a go.

Lilly has a great voice. What did her in is that all the songs she sang tended to sound just like the other ones.. She could probably put out a great album of lounge songs, but that wouldn't get her an idol contract.

I love your show. Its funny,helpful and entertaining. I also notice just how often you are helping someone else. I live in Charlotte, NC, in a small community that the city had forgotten about until a few years ago. We now have a neighborhood Alliance an i am a board member.We are having our 1st ever blacktie event. The event is to raise money for our Food Club. I am trying my hardest to find a very special guest to come out to show people that there are still some good people in the world. Everything that will be at the event has been donated. We have a Chef from one of the culinary schools here that will be preparing our meal,a DJ,poet and,local art work to be auctioned off by a beautiful artist. Please help us.

Hi Ellen,
Have discovered you with American Idol. Won't compare you with Kara nor Simon as a music critic, but rather consider you as a wonderful judge with human values and common sense. May be you can do something for Lilly by suggesting to AI producers amendments to the SAVING RULE in order to make the show more interesting, captivating and fair:
JIGGLE THE NUMBER OF THE CONTESTANTS by not eliminating only but also bringing back the contestant who was kicked off wrongfully!. i.e eliminate two and take one in, for example send Paige and Didi home and take back Lilly, that still makes 10 at the end!.Raise this up tonite, before the show begins!
Keep up the good jokes, but stay human!.
