@Linda Sue Davis: Lol! Ellen said it purposely! Didn't you get the joke?
She always act fool by doing wrong calculations like a 60 years ago in 1650 or giving distorted information like the Baker's dozen (especially when she says "homeschoolers" like that we know it ;))
Ellen's actually a very witty person. But you know, the smart ones don't have to show off. She's the most humble and natural person I've ever seen.
Ellen you are my HERO!!! I've been watching you and your old show since i was in early HS and realized i was a lesbian... thank you for being that person i can relate to and making it easier for me to be who i am.... goofy, fun, lesbian, a woman and a human being... thank you again and i wish you and your beautiful wife the best of life... YOU deserve it

Ellen,
When my son was a senior in high school (2008)he told me he was gay. Although I was not 100 percent suprised, I was worried for him, kids can be cruel. He suprised me and made me so proud. Joey and his partner decided to go to the prom together. I did not know how this would be accepted, but they did not run into any trouble with the school (we live in PA). The worst thing that happened was that someone stole his partners tux jacket and he had to pay to replace it. They now are both in college and live in NY while attending school. I write this beccause of the young woman who wanted to take her partner to the prom and how some peopleare just so ignorant. My son is the most talented, giving person I have ever known. It saddenens me that people judge him for anything else than the beautiful person he is. You are a wonderful advocate and I thank you for it.
Best regards'
Margie
