Ive tried twice to write to ellen but it wont let me submit my story about my mom or how i want to go to school to provide for my three boys as a dental hygeinist bc it says u must upload a photo and it wont let me. I went on an on for nothin. How do u enter to win one of those Terrains?! Y would u need a photo to tell a hardship story? I loved ellen since i saw her stand up bit when i was a kid. Good job. Least someones doing good.
When are you going to have that amazing singer Charice back on your show? I can't believe the powerful voice that comes from that tiny 4'11" 17 year old !! She can sing almost anything... and incredibly well!

Ellen, I so love your show as you always make me laugh. But, I miss seeing the lady you have on your show once in awhile that has a book entitled Black Hollywood (or something like that), as she has homemade remedies & is hilarious!! Remember the time when you couldn't wait for your favorite person on AI to see what they were gonna sing? This season I couldn't help but be excited when Alex would go on because of his distinct voice and great song selection. Sadly, I am bored with most of the current contestants. This clip shows that he also liked R&B! I believe this would have helped him. I voted for him & was so shocked he left!!! Everyone in my family was shocked as well. I feel that if he gets with the right record company etc. he will be successful. A voice like that is UNFORGETTABLE! Maybe it was meant to be? Leaving AI might be good for him so he doesn't get stuck singing some crappy AI music. He gets to do what he wants. Telling from the songs he picks he has really good taste, really eclectic and mature for age. Can't wait to see what is coming up for Alex! Good Luck & Best Wishes to Alex!!!!

Join the 21st century, American Idol is due for an overhaul.
AI's loyal audience of teens from years ago have grown-up, and need more avenues for voting. There should be some sort of ONLINE VOTING in addition to dialing and texting.

Can anything be done to bring Alex back?
You made a comment about voting for your favourite, which is unfair cause I tried to get through all evening and got busy signals for hours, the night he last performed.
It's frustrating, dis-empowering and wrong, to have no one listen. There was a technical flaw that night, which should be obvious. I signed up at a site to petition, something I have never done. Does fox have a clue??? or is it just dismissed. Experts in tracking public opinion need to advise them and take this frustration seriously.

Why would American Idol ask us on their poll which contestant left so soon? Alex's number in it is quite staggering--almost 300,000 today! We keep voting like crazy on that site but I haven't seen anyone asking the question, "Would Alex want to come back?" Does anyone know?
Did anyone really think they were going to bring Alex back. It would have proved they made a mistake, and they are not going to do that!! I have not watched Idol since Alex is gone, Thank-God, because I only hear how terrible the singers are and how boring the show is. It is going to be a pathetic tour this summer, I am sure it won't be a money maker, and I am glad Alex will not be part of that!!!! I hope him saying that he is moving to L.A. means he already has someshting going on!!! Can't wait to buy his cd!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish Ellen & others could see how much American Idol has changed since Alex left. It's boring now. I'm not even watching it anymore because there's nothing special about it. There's no twists or excitingness. It's dissapointing. :(

Hello Ellen,Thank you for having Alex on your show . He is a great singer.I don't watch since he was voted off. He was really relaxed on your show, keep us updated on his where abouts. I know someone will pick him up he has a unique voice like Rod Stewert.Why can't they just bring him back and give him another try so he can show them what they lost. He is an AMERICAN IDOL. You did great Alex.

He should go back to American Idol. Not because he was the best, but because he deserves a chance. He was good and had the personality and charisma to be a star. He has talent, charm and the ambition to make it work for him. Not one ever gets to the top by letting them down so early in the competition. He just didn't let it get him down like some do. He is working hard to get what he wants while on If I can dream and everyone loves him on there also. I have not watched Idol at all since he left. I think I speak for a lot of people. He has what it takes. Papa would be proud Alex.
