This year, Ellen decided to conquer the world, and the US Women's Hockey Team wanted to pitch in. They brought their Ellen flag and masks to the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Today Ellen checked in via satellite to thank them for their work, and you won't believe what they agreed to -- if they win the gold.

Hllo Ellen! I have watched your awesome show every morning until I recently got a job after graduation and now I miss it. I have tried to watch on the computer but it is always skipping somehow and it bugs the crap outta me! I loved T.Morgan getting scared but the sound did not match the video:( Anyway love the show and one of these days will make it to one of your live shows-Im here in the corn state of Iowa!And yes it is a bit corny!:) You're awesome and I'm so proud of you! I watched you when you started with standup and "followed" you. Congrats! And I can't wait until you conquer the world!YOU GO GIRL!!

I think you have made one very very happy girl on the USA Hockey team... what was her name??? I forget!! Ericka? She is such a huge fan!!!!! She was soooo excited she kept saying her name!!!! I have no idea how I would be.... but you made her day!!!!! Now she gets to meet you and be on your show!!!!!!

You must be sick of me by now, I have written quite a few times. This time I want to share something with you that I know you will love. My husband's first cousin Michael Welchynski lives in Spearfish, South Dakota. He runs a non-profit organization that rescues all kinds of abused animals. He has bears, giraffes, lions, tigers, wolves etc in his sanctuary. It is called Spirit of the Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. He is an amazing man, he does this out of the kindness of his heart & gives tours to kids so they can learn about animals. I would love for you to help him out by mentioning his name on your show or ask him to come on your show. He relys on sponsors to keep his his sanctuary running. Please take a trip to see his sanctuary & meet a wonderful, kind, humble man. By the way he has no idea that I am doing this.I just truly believe in what he does because my hubby & I are also animals lovers, like you.

Regarding the Ellen flag at the Olympics. I have a suggestion. Wait until the Olympics is over and have all the people who have won silver, gold or bronze sign their names on the flag, mail it back to Ellen and have her put it on e-bay to the highest bidder. The proceeds from the signing of the flag could go to the Special Olympics and help them out. Great idea or what?

Hi Ellen, Just wanted to let you know, I love your show, you are so funny. I really like it when you and Harry Conic Jr are together(he's a favotite of mine also) it just cracks me up. Just one question, you have the bluest eyes, do you wear colored contacts to inhance their color, or is that just your natural eye color?

I watch all of your shows and think you are so amazing!!! ...but the gold medal in women's hockey is going to go to CANADA!!! They have won the last two gold medals and are favoured to win in Vancouver. So far they have outscored their opposition 41-2, in 3 games. I think you should have the Canadian Women's ice hockey team on your show after they win the gold. I am sure they would be happy to fly your flag and they may even give you a Canadian hockey jersey.
It was awesome to see you talking to the USA's Olympic Women's Hockey Team today in my home Province of British Columbia. It would be awesome for them to fly your Ellen flag with the USA flag if they were to win Gold... but, unfortunately Ellen... that ain't going to happen!! They are on Canadian soil playing Canada's national game!!! Guess who is going to win Gold.... that's right

Hey Ellen!!! Our group of 20+ girls has been getting together for @ 20 years to celebrate our twice annual girl's only weekend. A comment from Calgary, Alberta Canada... "I BELIEVE" Canada is the fave! " I BELIEVE" That Canada will take the gold medal in Women's and Men's Hockey!!! There is a really good write up about the Canadian women's hockey team being very superior to the rest of the teams and I'm glad that the USA showed up to be a contender...which makes the sport alot more interesting to watch...can hardly for that game! Ellen, I am so proud to see you as a judge on American Idol. I think you are an excellent choice. You know what it takes to build a career from scratch. You can help these young people discover the star power within themselves, as you did. Thank you for your presence in all of our lives.
