That's not just the best anewsr. It's the bestest answer!

I'm not easily impressed. . . but that's imprseisng me! :)

Hi.I and my daughter both LOVE your show. I've entered in a lot of giveaways and never won. I wounder if you could improve my luck. Reciently it was my daughters 13 birthday and i couldn't get her much. I was woundering if you could give her a B-day to rember!

Hi Ellen - I guess many of us need a new car. After reading some of these stories, it let's me know that I am not alone. My husband has Leukemia (CML)and is unable to work. I am currently unemployed unable to find employment. We are living off of my husband's disability check at the moment. We have a beautiful 3 year old daughter full of energy. We currently have a Ford Taurus that will be picked up at anytime since we cannot afford to pay for it. A new car would be awesome. Transportation is a must for my husband to make his doctor appointments. I would even be happy with a used car that is paid for. I love your show. It is my smile for the day. When feeling down I know that I can always count on watching you for a laugh.

Well i will add my two cents, or story. My wife and poycystic kidney desease. Had both original kidneys removed. Gallbladder removed. She has a Arterial heart valve disorder and just had her transplant kidney fail. She is back on dialysis and is still waiting to be put on the transplant list after 3 yrs. That unfortunately will not happen. she will be on dialysis for the rest of her life now. Until her body can't take any more. I have a 99 durango that is falling apart. It is the only car we have. fianacialy unable to repair or get new one. Would love to win the car. She has very little time left and knowing that she has one thing less to worry about like getting to her dialysis which is 30 mile up and back..please consider us, thank you

Hey Ellen Came home from school a year ago to find my husband gone. He left me with a $35,000 debt,2 girls, an education and my 1989 Chevy Berretta. Been looking for a job as a Dental Asst. but i don't have reliable transportation. I am the most determined mother ever yet in Baltimore we were hit with 50 inches of snow this month and there wasn,t anyway my '89 Chevy was going anywhere.Ellen, can I trade my car in to you for the GMAC Terrain? After 15 yrs. as a housewife you'd think he'd at least left me a decent car considering now i am paying for the eduction he promised me.I think I earned a degree about loyalty & trust. Also to laugh each day with you(smile)makes my minutes of go away. THANK-YOU ELLEN FOR GIVING ME A REASON TO SMILE

Hi Ellen
Boy, that car is exactly what i need. My kia sportage would be ideal for my son to have so he can get a job..Can't work with no car.. He has just gotten back with his wife and daughter who is 5 but in April will be 6..He's on his last couple of unemployment checks and they are trying to get back to normal and caught up with their bills. I'm living on disability of 700 dollars a month.. I will be going in for hip surgery soon, then for knee replacement and finally carpal tunnel on my left wrist..That is why I need a higher truck so I don't have to bend with my bad back..No surgery for that though too delicate.. Anyway, Ellen you are the most easy going person and I watch you every day. Love when you have the science guy on, and also when u help him lol.. I feel so bad that I'm even writing this because I never asked for anything. MY son had 3 hernias removed a year ago and he had to stay with me. It was easy with no money coming in and just my disability check..Well that is it since I'm the worst letter writer around. Love you and your show and the judging on idol..Susan

Dear Ellen..WHO DAT?....your show is being prempted by the olympics..love them but love you more...miss you and cant wait till i can see you again...Dee Daigle....all three of my boys are in the military, 2 in Iraq and 1 is in Italy.. please keep them in your prayers.....lonely mom

Hi Ellen. I am a huge fan of yours. When I had my first daughter I was able to stay home for one year during that year I found your show and watched faithfully as I enjoyed your humor and kindness to all people. Since then I have to find a job (about 2 years ago). I was able to find one that I get off one half hour before your show airs here in Montana. I was so excited to get to continue watching. I always dream about someday coming to your show, also maybe even being lucky enough to win one of your many awesome prizes. Truth is now, was can barely afford to stay afloat. Like many Americans now days, we have credit card debt, and daycare cost are so high that it doesn't pay for me to work. (150.00 after daycare is paid). So there fore we won't be taking any vacations for a very long time. My family would be very blessed with the opportunity to just even meet such a wonderful person!!. Keep Smilen Your Awesome

Im the only car in the family and I do volunteer work for the old folks and can only fit one at a time neeed roooom..over many miles..

HI Ellen,

First I want to thank you for everything that you have done for so many people and what you will keeping doing for people in the future.

My request is not for me it is for my brother. In 2007 my brother's wife passed away leaving him to bring 7 children up by himself. The ages at the time of death was 4 weeks, 2, 4, 5, 7,13 and 17 years old. The last 3 years he has been bringing these children up along with some help from family and friends. But so many many nights he is by himself feeding and putting his kids to bed then getting them up for school.

He has also been with out a job for the last year as the economy has killed the construction field.
So he lives on a very little income and his vechile is breaking down and could use this vechile so much.

If you could please consider him for this vechile I would greatly appreciate it.

I can give you more information about his life I will in a separate email as not all information is required for all to review.

Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and whom ever you choose CONGRATULATIONS!

regards

Hi Ellen,

Well I have written to you in the past, and I could sure use some help. I am a retired police officer from Ohio. I had to take a medical retirement when I was diagnosed with Muscular Dytrophy. As a result of hte disease, my heart muscle got very weak and in August of 2007, while driving in my old car; I felt weird like I was going to pass out, so I turned into a parking lot so I woudldn't cause an accident. I woke up in my car in a building. I in fact did have a cardiac problem. Well, needless to say my vehicle was a total loss, and well my insurance did not cover all the damage I caused, so it took my almost 2 years to pay off the damages (Out of pocket) to the property owners Lawyers. So now I am broke and have no vehicle! I have many pets some of them are rescued, and I have to depend on friends and family members to cart me and the animals around (to the vet, grocery, etc.) It woudl be so nice to have my own wheels! Please help if you can!!

Thank You for your Consideration!

Hi Ellen, Love your show!!
Anyone would love a new GMC Terrain. I sure would!
Our car is a 2001, we bought a 2002 van for my husband had to build a ramp for our dog to be able to continue going for rides with us. Sadly our dog passed before Christmas. Both vehicles are in sad shape and we still owe on van. Money is tight but many have the same problems. I would not want to be in your shoe's for picking a winner! I know by watching your show I seen many side's of emotion's. What a human being! Keep up the good work. Linda, Pa.
