Ellen should come clean
Love your show Ellen and I think Gladys is a hoot. I also loved Kitty - Charlotte. She hasn't been on lately. I hope she is still well and I didn't miss something about her. Would you kindly give an up-date. Best of everything to you, Tony, your mom and Portia and your crazy staff.
To those who asked, Ellen can't bring Gladys to the show because "she's" a comedian from Austin who also happens to be a guy. He's Scott Hardy, who does these kind of voice-over jobs as part of his living. He used to call a morning-drive show in Austin as "Gladys". He has appeared at Cap City Comedy Club in Austin. He's pretty talented and does a pretty good job with the old lady voice. Great sense of humor, too.

I love your show and watch everyday. I have a suggestion about Gladys...I know she will not fly so why dont you go to her. I think it would be a hoot to have your show go see her. I also think you should call her at least once a month. she really enjoys hearing from you.

But, it reminds me of all the other seniors out there.
It could be your neighbors who are just as delightful as Glagys, but have no one to talk to.
If you know an elderly person in your neighborhood please reach out.
You will be quite surprised what you will find...a kind, funny, very lonely person happy to share
so much with you on the phone or in person.

I live in Austin Texas and naturally one of my favorite segments (set up or not) is when you and Gladys Hardy talk! There is something so simple about it. It never fails to put a smile on my face or make me truly laugh!
Ellen pleeease have Gladys on more often or even a regular like once a week.I just her and she is soooo much fun.Please think about it.

Dear Ellen,
Please resolve a dispute between me and my husband. He thinks Gladys is not real and something you set up. I saw the very first time you called her and totally believe she is real. I told him you don't need to "make up segments" as you are funny enough on your own. Love your show and try to watch daily. Please tell me I am right about Gladys. Perhaps you could send someone from the show to interview her. Thanks

Gladys cracks me up, she is quick witted. Ellen, my face hurts after watching your show everyday, from smiling and laughing! You are sooo awesome!

I was just thinking about Gladys the other day and was worried that she had passed on. So, needless to say how excited I was to have you call her. My heart leaped for joy! She always makes me laugh more than once in her conversations with you. I hope when I'm her age I can be as spunky and straight forth! Go Gladys!
Hi Ellen wondering if you really read everyones comments here. Everyone loves it when you talk to Gladys she puts a smile on all our faces, I know that you have asked her to to the show and she said she didn't like to fly well maybe you can get one of your staff to visit her for an interview and have a segment on her called Gladys's Laugh A Minute
