You know the book "Skinny Bitch" (and if you don't, you should check it out!). It got me thinking about what I was eating. It even helped me switch to a healthier and more compassionate diet. After I talked with authors Kim Barnouin and Rory Freedman on the show, millions have since read it and it's changed their lives.

Love your show-but who doesn't? Don't you think "From This Moment" would be a good tune for Justin Bieber(and have another fellow Canadian come in on it to surprise people)-Shania Twain.
Will you ever have Shania on your program? That song would be great with those two!

have you ever talked about epilepsy on your show. i have had it all my life and still have 15 to 20 seizures /month. I am aware during them because I had the surgery. But I still have fear in them and events from my past all within 2-3 min. the fear is the worst because its like someone coming up behind you and scaring off guard for 2-3 min. This happens because I have damage on my left side on the hippocampus and possibly some on my right too.I hope someday you can educate people on epilepsy on your show.Thanks!!

Hello Ellen.
I volunteer at my church food pantry we give food to 240-300 a month. we get food from the Food Bank that we purchase with money from church members, our church do not have a large membership but we do our best.
This past Thursday we was about 10 minutes from closing in come a young mother with her child in a stroller she sit down looking around saying I need food do you have baby food for my baby, the baby was laying back he raise up took his bottle out of his mouth looked around, I told her yes we do the Mother took a deep breath what a relief my baby have cancer and can only eat baby food she was so happy we gave her food.I told the helper next to me I feel so good when we can have food to me the needs of others, but sometime we don't have enough money to really get the food we need. Ellen if you know of anyone that can help us to continue with the blessing that we help our friend that need our help because WE NEVER TURN AWAY NO ONE.

i'm lorraine from ZIMBABWE .i love your show and i cant stand to miss it.I am 19 years old doing my A'Level studies which is the last grade in highschool in zimbabwe.....
i'm often down thinking about my background,where i'm coming from and where i'm going but your show makes me happy and gives me hope in life.next year i will be going to university but i'm trusting God for my school fees and for my father's health who has cancer .......

my name is dana. and i want to thank you for making my life full of joy. my family dont get along at all most of the time. and sometimes i just wanna say the hell with it and give up. i sometimes feel like i let my family down cuz i dont have a career and i live in a really bad area. and when i put on your show it brings happiness into my life. i know there is people out there who dont give a dame bout other people and i am inspired that you devote your time to making people laugh and helping people in need. so thanks for being your wonderful self

Ellen, I just wanted to mention that your show has given me some moments of peace these last few months for a few reasons. I was diagosed with breast cancer in September so I am dealing with the chemotherapy right now. This is a tough road but there is a light at the end of
the tunnel. I have the most wonderful three sons supporting me and my fiancee and an extended family of 18 people who are in constant touch. I run out of days to have friends visit. I am the luckiest person. I wish for each of the patients I see every week that they will have angels on their shoulders as I do. My sister who reminds me of you in looks also gives me an extra special feeling watching your show every day. Her partner is fond of your show also. I wanted to give one recommendation of a book if it was not mentioned before that made me cry and brought such loving emotions to the surface. My son purchased it for me. Chicken Soup for Breast Cancer Survivors. It is a must read for everyone going through this difficult time. Maybe when this subject is brought up again on your show, it can be mentioned and maybe be given out. It is a great support book that helps women at one of the scrariest times of their life. Thank you.

As a non-resident Canadian student, am you eligible for McGill's International Student Health Insurance Plan? Non-resident Canadian students who have no insurance coverage, whose private insurance is inadequate, or who are not eligible for Quebec Medicare have the option of enrolling on McGill's International Student Health Insurance Plan. To do so, they must apply to International Student Services no later than September 30 for coverage throughout the fall semester (or by January 31 if they will begin their McGill studies in January).

I am a sign language student wanting & work with deaf child but need to go to school in states to futher my education and I live in Canada I am 54 years old and need some help most people say I am to old but my case is a rare on and they do not understand Will you listen or am I to old I am fit trim and ready. Is my age going to bring me down most people do not beleive my age theye think I am younger.

This is the first I've seen of Ellen and Portia's wedding pictures and I think they are absolutely gorgeous. they make a beautiful couple. I love watching Ellen, she makes a rainy day, sunny.
