Ellen wants to start the New Year right, and that's by helping people. She got a letter from Julie in Provo, UT, who had a very difficult year. Ellen decided to surprise her with a huge gift -- all the giveaways from 12 Days! Watch now to see her reaction, and the other surprise Ellen has for her!
How come all the winners are from the East coast, am I entering too late in the day? I've seen very few from the midwest and 3 or 4 from the West. :(
I love what Ellen does for people, she is a super human for sure but my only confusion is I only wrote to her staff letting them know how much my daughter who is homebound with illnesses loves Ellen and asked if there was a way they could send her an autographed picture, not much to ask for from a true diehard FAN BUT I never got a response or that picture, boy that would of been a nice Christmas present as that was a year ago and I am still waiting . SIGHHHHH

hey,Ellen how goes it? You are the highlight of my day, Ive been in the hospital going on 7 weeks n I sooooo look forward to watchin you everyday! You put a smile on my face n make me wanna dance in this damn bed! you feel me full of energy for an hour and that gives me a glimps of hope,that i'll be goin home to my kids for the holidays, I dont know how there are'nt many days left but I thank God for my family for being there for them.and I thank God for you for making me smile if even for just an hour out of the day!

Hi Ellen!! just wanted to let you know that you are SOOOOOOOO funny...well, i'm sure you know that, but my girls and I have a blast watching your show!! We love to watch how excitingly (if that's even a word), happy and blessed people get when receiving one of your awesome gifts!! My girls always say, "It'd be awesome to get a knock at the door, mom?" you know, just like...It'd be nice to win the lottery?? lol!! my two younger boys ( 3 years and the other 9 months) are being neglected while your show is on though!!! lol jk
We were very blessed to buy our first home on January 1st of this year and are truly happy with it. So by saying that, we are so proud of dad because he works so hard everyday to keep a roof over our heads and would like it if you would just thank him for us in front of the whole world!! Or NOT lol. (his name is javier...just in case!!)
Nah, but seriously Ellen...YOU ROCK!! keep up the great work so we can have some laughs every single day!;)

Wish I can win this year Ellen. It would be so nice, but since I guess everyone else is saying the same thing, and who am I to think I'm so different just because I'm a single mom of three really really good teenage kids. And two of my kids have been on honor roll since 1st grade. The other one, I'm still praying for him, and evidently it's working because he's making some
A(s)this year. Since he had surgery over the summer, his grade went up. I guess you can say the major surgery he went through boost his confident and got him to want to do more and get more out of life. Quite a pick up from the last 2 yrs of his HS when he was sick all the time.
Having said all of that,I'll just shut up and wait if my name get drawn.

Most of the time I am watching I am either Laughing or Crying, I think it is awesome how you are always helping people out who are in need. dear ellen, thank-you so much for helping this person...i am disabled and my husband passed away a year ago to liver cancer...it has been a difficult and trying time....i recently found i have 2 tumors, one on my voice box and one on my thyroid...i am to go to springfield cancer center to see a dr robbins in the near future...they repoed my car the other day, so i had to reschedule my appointment for march...to try to get another vehicle or someone willing to drive me the 100 miles......it is devasting to be left walking when you are seeing lots of drs. so thak-you again ellen and god bless you for being you

dear Ellen, I don't watch TV too often but I have watched your show a few times. I am myself a disabled vietnam vet but all is well with me. I am sending this for my best friend of 50 years who has a daughter Colleen and her soon to be 5 year old son Gavin Patrick. Colleen has been out of work for quite awhile but recently started school to be a Dental Assistant. She is struggling and has a few debts from being out of work but still pushes on to make her life and little Gavins better every day. Her parents help out as best as they can and every so often I will try and get Gavin a Savings Bond so when he gets older he will have at least a few dollars for his life. They live in Upstate New York in North Tonawanda. I live in North Carolina and visit whenever I can. My e-mail address is jdphoto44@yahoo.com.
