Hi ellen.I am 11 years old and i am a big fan of your show. I watch your show on my school vacations. Do you know how to raise 1,000 dollars in 2 weeks and 10,000 dollars in a year? I would like to know because recently my dad crashed the car into a yellow pole(by accident)and we need to pay 3,200 dollars. Also are other car's brakes are not working and that costs 500 dollars. So my family's buget is very tight. I want to know how to earn the 1,000 dollars because in 2 weeks my family and I are supposed to go to new york with my IEA team that i am on. My mom and dad said that we can't go because if we did we would lose are house because of the costs of going to new york. So i want to raise this money mainly so that my mom and dad and i can take a nice vacation and not have to worry about finances for atleast 4 days

I can't help but laugh whenever I watch your show. The first time I "really" watched, you had on that underwear model guy...can't remember his name. You put your face in the add with him and I laughed so hard I almost fell off the treadmill at the gym. I try not to laugh out loud anymore but it's impossible. The reason I'm writing is actually very serious. There is this little guy named Jack that has relapsed and his mom Jen has written to you recently to see if you would be interested in bringing the topic of "childhood cancer" to the spotlight. I know it sounds depressing and very "deep" however her idea is to focus on the "good" that comes from it and give more exposure to the subject so that funding will increase. She is feeling helpless in her ability to help her own child and has inspired so many readers (she journals on a caringbridge site). I don't know her personally but my life has been touched deeply by her and many other families in similar situations. So many people don't want to hear about these stories because it seems too difficult but it is amazing at the "good" that also comes from this. Please consider having her son Jack on your show. He is witty, sweet, and such an amazing kid.

Hi Ellen even though this are repeats for right now I still watch them and still even laugh as hard as I did the first time I seen the show. I hope all of you are enjoying your Christmas Vacation all of you deserve it for all the hard work all of you do to make us all who watch your show 5 days a week enjoy the hour you bring into our home thank you all and enjoy the holidays.

LOVE ALL OF YOU

Hi ellen Not only are you funny, witty, smart generous you have such a audience that I hope you can take a moment and ask your audience for thoghts and prayers for 6 yes 6 fallen officers here in pierce county wash. One actually was from king county. all have died in the line of duty in the last6 to 8 wks Im not a realative or anything like that but i cant get these people out of my head. the 4 pierce county officers actually from the lakewood police dept died a short distance from my home and besides their spouces left behind 9 children who no longer have a mom or dad. ON tues jan 5th we will again have a memorial service for officer mundell who was killed while responding to a domestic disturbance call just over 1 week ago my sons dad died of suicide 13yrs ago and it was so hard on us i feel so helpless once again . he was 7 yrs old then and will be 21 next month and thank you for giving me hope and inspiration all these years I just would like you to mention these familes and these children and hopefully it will change someones actions

If I continue watching your show (which I will) I will need not only to invest in "depends" but a RX for overactive bladder! It does not matter how gloomy things may appear in my life or in the world right now, tuning into your show for 1 hour makes things easier to handle.! You are entertaining at every angle, but when you have children on your show, the light in your eyes shines even brighter and your true inner spirit comes out! It is so refreshing to watch you on your show and your generous heart makes me love you even more! You help me to belive that things will turn around for me soon, but in the meantime, thank you for keeping the laughter alive!

A note to Roberto your chef. I made the vegan pot pie but when I checked the ingredients on the Pillsbury pie crust it contains Partially hydrogenated LARD. I made a delicious vegan crust instead. The pot pie was a hit, very good. Thanks, JC

hi Ellen this is my 1st post to you. I saw you with Xin-Xue Feng today and it made me relize how good, no great you would be as a parent. Have you and portia thought of children? I think any child that was lucky enough to be loved by you and Portia would have love, laughter, and a great life.
thank you for reading
