This book is insanely expensive! It is on Amazon for $298.00 for a new copy!! Sorry, but that is a complete rip off. Sounds like someone is taking advantage of Ellen's recommendation!
This book was on Amazon for $29.95 for several weeks and I put it in my wish list. I want to send it to my best friend for her birthday and I was waiting until I got paid and today I went on Amazon and it's now selling for $187 and Borders has it for $50. What is going on? Is this guy trying to rip people off? Not a good way to do business.
I ordered this online at the beginning of January and have yet to receive it. It's been delayed now 3 times and I'm wondering exactly what's going on? It looks like such a wonderful book, but I wonder if it's ever going to actually ship.
I have been searching your site a few times since Lewis Blackwell was on. I can't find any info on where to donate to save the rain forests that he talked about.

RECYCLE THOSE X-MAS TREES! One way my dad recycles his Christmas tree is he takes it and dumps it in the lake. It becomes a habitat for fish......of course which he uses later to fish in. Circle of life!
What a great way to look at life. "Trees" what an inspritation to life. Thank you for sharing it with us. I can't wait to get it. Our Barnes and Noble is out of it. :(
You talked about the book "Rover" today. I am all about people and their pets. It is so sad when you have to choose giving up your "best friend" or paying a bill. I have seen so many more strays out than usual. Our son and his wife have taken in 2 this year. Bell a Blue Healer and Chroness an american pit (he's a big baby and still growing).
Can't wait to get both of these.

My name is Haydee and I live in Victoria B.C. I saw your episode on Trees, well the book on trees, the pictures are amazing. But what really stuck for me, is that you said that we can contribute to the well being of the rain forest by buying stocks. I was wondering if you knew what they were an what they're trading name was? I really would like to invest in something that is so important to all of us.

Lewis Blackwell book looks intriguing!! Thanks for sharing his info. I love trees too, am writing a children's book about them. I would send it to you but I've sent other things to you but never know if you get them. Judy
This is why I watch your show and continue to respect you Ellen , not just for the laughs (which bring tears to my eyes every time) but for great intellectual inspiration. I will definitely buy this book to not only remind me of my small place in this great big world but also of my great responsibility within it!

I saw this book in Barnes and Noble, it struck me as being kind of ironically funny that this book that is all about trees and preserving their beauty is not made out of recyclable paper. :)
