The very sexy Kellan Lutz came by the show today to chat with Ellen. He shared what it's been like being in such a huge movie like "Twilight," and told how his dog keeps him grounded. Then Ellen tried to convince him to take his shirt off! Was she successful? You'll have to watch to find out!
My name is Selena Green. I have been a treatment Theraputic foster parent for the past seven years. I aslo adopted the four children that has been in my care for the past eight years. I wrote a book that will be released in January-2010 entitled "I HEARD THEIR CRY,CAN YOU HEAR MINES? I always think your shows are great!!! Hope you have a Merry Christmas. I was hoping that we would till this past Saturday. Someone Kicked in our front door and took the vizio that I got for Christmas 15 days old. They also got all of our grandkids Christmas from us we can't replace because we are on a fixed income. I am 64 and thoungt I,d try for your 12 day giveaway and got a big surprise I,m receiveing text mail on my cell phone and have received calls on my cell phone for colledge loans and other nuisance calls all the same day and that weekend after answering the questions on line--I
have had to stop texing on my cell phone and now cannot even receive pictures of my grand children-much to my surprise what a winner I am!!!

Hi, Ellen, I love you and your show but most of all I love how you love animals. I am a 78 year old retiree and I volunteer at our local Greater Fredricksburg SPCA. We opened in May 2009 and it wasn't long until we were full of wagging tails, barks, and meows. It is a happy place but we desperately need funds to pave our "play and walk" yards. Volunteers come in every day and each dog enjoys two walks which are very difficult after a heavy rain or snow which means that the dogs and volunteers are covered with mud when they return. I work in the laundry room with the commercial washers and dryers over and over to provide clean blankets, towels and other necessities for the animals. Could you help us with the paving of the outside yards? My best friend and love of my life is Lily, a wonderful mix of Cocker Spaniel and King Charles Spaniel, which she claims makes her royal. Hi Ellen, I am responding to your joke about living in Minnesota. Your joke on a Dec.22 rerun indicated that the author of that joke doesn't know Minnesota. I can only witness to a great life as an elementary teacher and an exciting life filled with fun snow and also 100 degree days. I love your jokes and I am not offended-maybe a little bit, but I just want the author of that joke to be more informed. I could tell you many funny jokes about the wonderful little people that I've had the privilege to work with and love. The joke was about having great expectations in life. I have the greatest thought that anything is possible in a life filled with love and joy. Thanks for the joy you give me with many fun jokes every day.
I would like to help the missing children organizations l have an idea wich l hope will works the best way ,all the cell phones company could create a space for photos and info about all missing children.They can create a botton wchich people will push and slides with children photos slowly can move ,if sombody would like to see that missing child ,they could stop and zoom in to memorize that face better.Those days people cant live without cell phones every minut they send messages,or play lm sure this will be the best and the fast way to help all those screaming children for a help.im sure millon of people will love to help and we will be able to do it ,but l dont have that power.Never know many children from USA can be here in Canada so we all can be connected and help each other .what we need those ccellphone company to say yes

While I am all for giving people a helping hand, the assistance you gave to the family who just had a baby, her husband lost his job, they were behind in mortgage payments ($8,000+) and their car broke down was very disappointing. When they appeared on TV, it was obvious they were trying to live beyond their means in a big new house. She has a teaching degree and he appeared to be an able bodied person. While they may have needed SOME immediate assistance to get them over the hump, the lavish gifts you gave to one family was appauling. There are too many families in much worse shape that could have used even a small portion of your generousity. My goodness, you paid their back mortgage payments, gave them an additional $15,000 AND gave them a new car!!! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!!
