First off I'm a vegan who has two cats, Porsche and Benji. I've been feeding them "free range" cat food from the company "Pet Promise" who recently went out of business due to todays economics, and we, Porsche, Benji and I, are oh-so-not-knowing what to do. Porsche and Benji like "Newmans Own" canned free range cat food but they won't touch their free range dry food. Porsche will nibble on "Organix" free range dry food, but Benji isn't thrilled with it. So I've been looking into your line, "Halo", and I cannot believe that it is not free range. Ellen, animals are animals and they all deserve to be treated with kindness. Feeding our loving pets animals that have been horribly tortured since birth is just ridiculously inhumane. Please Ellen, look into "Pet Promise". I spoke to them awhile back and the woman I spoke with said they tried to sell their formula but no one bought. It would be so wonderful if you could speak seriously with "Pet Promise" about how easy it is to "do no harm". Why not be part of a cat/dog food line that really walks the talk instead of just joining the ranks of companies that continue torturing animals. Organics mean nothing if animals are still being tortured. If I had the money I would purchase the "Pet Promise" company formula and continue their promise of making pet food in a humane manner, but I don't - boohoo. So what do you think Ellen? How about thinking free range, free range, free range and be truly beautiful in your walk. We must put a halt to this inexcusable torture of animals, don't you agree? You can do this Ellen. You could be the start of something truly amazing and do it in a big way! Thank you.

Bonnie I'm curious what she has to say too. I saw the campaign. She is the Covergirl covergirl. I'm totally appalled that Peta would give her this award. In fact they take a huge step backwards in my book. Ellen makes millions off of Proctor and Gamble. Isn't that like giving Osama Bin Laden the nobel peace prize just cuz he wears a Give Peace a Chance t-shirt. So she became vegan and helps save a few animals. The bottom line is that she promotes a company that kills and tortures THOUSANDS. Hollywood hypocrisy at its finest.

I feel as though it has gone out too many times this past year. My 15 year-old daughter and I try to watch you as often as possible. You are one of our few "bonding" experiences! So PIDA gal of the year can you answer this question, how can I purchase RX for animals without a prescription? I'm making a return trip to San Pedro Ambergris Caye Belize and have been working on a care package for saga humane society, I have not been able to purchase items like Cephalexin, Clavomax, Doxycyline or Rimadyl to take to them, they all require a prescription I'm pulling my hair out on this one, do you have any ideas on how to purchase any of these items to take with me when I go? I'm just trying to help.

ellen you are making the world happy every day I love your move everyday when I watch your show.I sometimes cry for happiness just to watch you dance in my living room.The thing is you are a charming woman who is making every woman happy around the globe knowing you are a blessed person and who is making others happy.I personaly has been forgeting my pain and sufferiing temperly, which Iam going through, because of your show. sometimes I forget that Iam not in USA but in canada in my own living room in calgary.I have gone through enough in my sickness which I was injured at work and I cant mention what Iam going through but its hell on earth. even if my life has changed but the inner seif has not.Iam still enjoying everyday as it cames.my advace is make bon jovi to came to your show everytime because you two are amazing people in our lives especially mine happy new year and wishing you many more shows to come.
